A SWEET DOGGIE FRIEND: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 32 lbs. Hi there, I’m Harvey! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control along with another friend, and I’m so happy to be safe and loved while I wait for my forever family. I’m in a wonderful foster home now while I wait for my furever family to find me. Perhaps you? • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I came in with a dog friend and have met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them. Although I didn’t initiate play, I liked to run around a bit with and nap next to the 25-lb. puppy and 45-lb. 3-year-old dog I met in a temp. foster home, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a sweet, handsome boy with a gentle personality and a loving heart. I can be a little shy and timid when I first meet new people or experience new things, but my friendly nature quickly shines through. I was just a little nervous for my bath, but I stayed calm and sweet, even politely lifting each paw for rinsing like a good boy. My foster says “Everyone who has met him, myself included, thinks he's perfect. He is such a good boy.” My foster thinks I would do really well with someone who is home quite a bit. I really love being her little shadow. Do you need one? Can’t you just picture it? Wherever you go, I would be there to trot alongside, hang out on the couch, play with some fun squeaky toys . . . wherever you are, I would just be happy to be there! / Energy level: 4-6.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I've mastered the ‘sit’ command and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I did well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. In my foster home, I don’t want to spend much time in there, but when it’s time for bed, I go into my crate for a treat and may bark or whine for a few minutes, then I sleep well overnight. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule. In foster, I did a bit of marking the first day each time I went to a new house, but after my foster tells me where not to go, I have had good potty manners after that.  • LIKES/DISLIKES: I like cuddling on the couch, treats, Nylabones, squeaky toys, spending time with my people and dog friends, and I’m sure we’ll find plenty more things we enjoy together! / Other than being rushed into new situations or new relationships and spending much time in a crate, like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m a sweet fellow looking for a wonderful family to love and be loved by. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.    August 13, 2026, 6:13 am

A SMART & LOVING PUP: Approx. 3-4 months old / Approx. 23 lbs. & growing Hi there, I’m Camille! I’m a darling pup who came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a great home and family to raise me! I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I’m now ready to find that family—I think that’s the best news ever! Plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet!/ Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m friendly, fun, and full of wiggly energy. I’m new to the leash, so I’m still figuring out how it all works. But I’m trying, and I’m excited to learn with someone patient and kind. I’m a super sweet little girl who’s still learning how big the world is. I tried so hard to be brave in the tub—I really did. I stood there working up my courage…but when the sprayer came on, oh no. I couldn’t help it. I moaned and cried through the final rinse. I promise I wasn’t trying to be dramatic; I was just scared. But once bath time was over, I sat quietly and politely for my ear cleaning like a good girl. I’m a little shy, but I’m also friendly and curious, and I warm up fast. I love being in your lap—it’s my favorite place in the whole world. I’m a mouthy puppy, playful and silly, and I really like toys. I’m just a sweet baby girl looking for someone who loves cuddles, playing, and helping me grow into the brave, confident dog I’m meant to be. / Energy level: 5-7, of course this could change as I grow up.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’ and ‘come’ commands and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog—including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy—so get ready for some training with your new best friend. /        My crate manners have been good at the shelter. / I’m just a baby so I’ll need my family to potty train me in my new home.    • LIKES/DISLIKES: I like toys and cuddles and I’m sure we’ll find lots more things we like to do together! / Other than that scary bath sprayer, I can’t think of things I don’t like, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m a sweet, growing pup looking for a wonderful family to teach and love me furever! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  August 13, 2026, 6:13 am

A SUPER FRIENDLY GIRL:  Approx. 6 years old / Approx. 31 lbs. Hi, my name is Nora!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control. I’ve been through a lot and am looking forward to finding my new family with Mostly Mutts’ help. I needed to have my tail amputated to get relief from the pain of happy tail. Also, I also came in heartworm positive. The good news is my tail amputation is behind me, and I have been treated for heartworms and have completed my rest period. I am excited for the life that awaits me in a happy, loving home! I was selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience and learned a lot! ·   OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I’ve met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I was very talkative, but not aggressive, so if you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.     ·   PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers describe me as a smart girl who is ‘super curious and a lover of attention’.  I’m a ‘people dog’ who is playful and happy. I can be a little vocal in the shelter environment when I'm in my little room, but once I settled into the prison/foster training program, I relaxed and became much quieter. With a consistent routine and a comfortable environment, I show off my calm and easygoing personality! I am ready to be a great companion to a wonderful family. I have a little bit of ‘stranger danger’ when I see people wearing dark clothing, though I never show any aggression. / Energy level:  3-5. ·   SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience, so, I've mastered the 'sit', 'stay', 'down', 'come', 'drop it', 'leave it' and 'place' commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners are good in the off-site training program. The trainers have found that I don’t really need one and enjoy sleeping outside of it overnight. / My potty habits were good in the off-site training program, but I am having a few accidents at the shelter. Hopefully this will improve now that I have completed my HW rest period. ·   LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to give and receive affection—collecting snuggles and leaning in for a nice hug. It’s just the best!  I always enjoy it when the volunteers break out the toys at the shelter. Play time is always fun! Stretching my legs in the play yard in the off-site training program is one of my favorite parts of the day! I love having room to run and explore, and don’t worry, I'll happily come right back when called. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. ·   MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. My tail has been amputated, so it is no longer painful. Since my previous owner did not keep me on heartworm prevention, I came to MM heartworm positive.  Thankfully, I’ve been treated for it and am currently getting back to my regular exercise routine. I will have my heartworm re-check in mid-December, so local adoption is best. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my new family should consult their vet about a dental cleaning in the future. I’m looking for a wonderful home with a loving family that will treasure me for life! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  August 13, 2026, 6:13 am

A FRIENDLY & ACTIVE PAL:  Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 36 lbs. Hello, I’m Rockette! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I’m so happy to be part of the family! I’ve had lots of fun with the wonderful volunteers, and I was even selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training program, where I learned so much. I was adopted for a short time, but my young dog mouthiness was a bit much for them, so I’m looking for a dog-savvy home that enjoys training and helping young dogs grow into their best selves. I can’t wait to find my perfect family and start my happily-ever-after!      • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I liked playing with them!  So, if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown. / Kids 15+ would be the best fit for me since I am mouthy, so if you have kids that age or older – perhaps dog experienced, let’s meet!  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a friendly, playful, and very active girl with a sweet personality, and a great smile to match! I’m a lot of dog with plenty of energy, lots of love to give, and I’m always ready to be part of the fun. I’m a kiss-giver who looks to my people for direction and reassurance, making me a loving and attentive companion. I would do best with a dog-savvy family who can help me continue learning appropriate ways to channel my enthusiasm. Sometimes I see side-to-side movements, like mopping or leaf blowing, as an invitation to play and may get a bit mouthy—even if your back is turned—so I’ll need guidance and redirection to help me make good choices. I also appreciate it when new friends let me approach as I just need a moment to warm up, and then my sweet, affectionate personality shines through. I’m ready for a family who enjoys an active, fun-loving companion and will help me continue to grow into the wonderful dog I’m meant to be! / Energy level: 6-8, so let’s be active together.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands.  I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners using my EZ walk harness as well as accept nice strangers without jumping.  Let's continue my training together, as there are more classes we can take with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts, and I come out ready to go and have some fun – and a little excitedly mouthy!  I would not want to spend a lot of time in a crate in my new home as I’m too active for that. / My potty habits have been good at Mostly Mutts and were good on the off-site training program schedule, too, and being crated in the evenings helps set me up for success so there are not overnight accidents.  • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love going for walks, exploring on nature adventures with my people, splashing in streams, and running joyful zoomies in the play yard! I also enjoy car rides, playing with toys, getting ear scratches, and spending time with the nice volunteers. An active family that loves the outdoors and spending engaging time with me would be a good match! / I wouldn’t be happy in a home that I didn’t get enough active exercise and good leadership and like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m a fun and active girl looking for a wonderful family for life!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  August 13, 2026, 6:13 am

Story
A FUN, PLAYFUL & ACTIVE GUY:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 40 lbs.  Hi, my name is Asher!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, & I’m very grateful.  The volunteers are taken with my unusual breed mix, my handsome ginger brindle coat, & compact body.  I bet you will be, too!  I was selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience and learned a lot!  I am currently in a wonderful foster home, waiting for my match! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I enjoy playing with & going for walks with other dogs I’ve met at Mostly Mutts, but I should not live with another dog as I have guarded toys & dog beds from them.  I can be barky/reactive when I see other dogs – not to worry – my trainer will show you exactly how to introduce me to other dogs, so let’s meet! / No cats! / I get a little excited to see children, so kids age 15+ would be the best fit for me, as I wouldn’t want to bump over younger children & toddlers make me uncomfortable. So, if you have kids 15+ let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a sweet, happy & fun-natured guy who has earned the reputation of being ‘goofy & funny’ around the shelter. I am full of playful energy & am not shy about speaking my mind, so I don’t think an apartment/condo-type home would be a good fit for me.  I would love a backyard with a fence, as one of my favorite activities is chasing a ball.  I will even bring it back to you as long as you will throw it.  My foster parents have realized that I am also very good at entertaining myself inside, so I’d make a good office dog.  I really enjoy going on walks & I do enjoy several of them during the day in my foster home.  I’m a lot of dog in a medium sized package.  I’m also very sweet, protective & fun!  I am great in the shower or bath, when my foster parents give me my weekly bath.  Affectionate & social with the people I’ve been properly introduced to, I have all the traits of a great companion. I, however, am not the kind of dog you would take to the kids’ sporting events, or a busy park, etc. since I can be reactive.  I look forward to meeting all the members of my new home at my adoption! / My energy level is 6–8, so I am looking for a family member who will be active with me.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ & ‘place’ commands.  I also use proper door etiquette & have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping when properly introduced.  I get distracted by sounds I hear on my walk that I don’t recognize, so my trainer used the ‘leave it’ command to keep me on track on our walks.  I’m very food motivated, so that makes my training fun & yummy! Let's continue my training as there are more classes I can take through the free lifetime training that Mostly Mutts offers for their rescue dogs. / I did well in my little room at Mostly Mutts.  In my foster home, I have perfect crate manners, & easily go into my crate when my foster parents have to leave the house.  I even put myself to bed at night, by going into my crate without being asked. / In my foster home, I have had wonderful potty manners with no accidents.   • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I LOVE toys - especially rubber ones with deep squeakers, Nylabones, & large squeaky tennis balls.  I can entertain myself while you’re busy, or we can play fetch together - just throw the ball!  A nice, fenced yard would be great for our play sessions. When it’s time to relax, I enjoy lots of petting & cuddles, & I secretly believe I’m a lap dog, so don’t be surprised if I climb up & give you a big hug with my paws on your shoulders. I also like walks, though I’ll need a strong walker since I’m a strong boy & can sometimes be reactive to people & other animals, so let’s go find some quieter places to explore together. I absolutely love car rides, too! / I have been frightened by certain loud motors, the vacuum, doorbells ,etc., but I can be trained not to react to those as I’m smart. Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, & training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped & neutered. I may need to wear a muzzle when vetted & for nail trims as this can be frightening to me. I am looking for a dog savvy family where I will be cherished!  My adoption fee is $299.00, & I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  August 13, 2026, 6:13 am

A FRIENDLY & FUN GIRL:  Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 34 lbs. Hi, I’m Taryn! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the nice volunteers, who spend time with and take great care of me. I was selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience and learned a lot! Now I hear that I’m ready to find a wonderful family of my very own—where I can love and be loved furever! I hope to meet them very soon!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I needed some time to warm up to them, but once I did, I liked the mellow females best. I can be vocal when playing and meeting other dogs and my responses to seeing dogs from afar are improving. It helped when I had a few visits with the same dog, so if you have a nice, patient doggie at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. I think I would also be fine with being your only dog. / Cats unknown. / I met two nice boys around 6 years old at Mostly Mutts and did well with them, so a home with kids ages 10 and up could be a good fit for me—and kids should not hug me (as I don’t like to feel restrained). Let’s meet!  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m described as a friendly, active, happy, and fun dog. I love nothing more than I love people! I was very sweet and handled my bath, and nail trim well. I am a bit vocal when I see other dogs or people and fast movements or loud noises may startle me, but I recover quickly. / Energy level: 4-6. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners have been good and I’m quiet in there. In the prison/foster training program, I didn’t need a crate and enjoyed sleeping outside of it. / My potty habits were good in the off-site training program I was in, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too! • LIKES/DISLIKES: Spending time with the volunteers is my favorite thing, and I’ll gladly soak up all the attention, pets, kisses, and affection you have to give. I also like playing with toys and going for lots of car rides, where I love to stick my nose out the window and feel the breeze. I love going on hikes with the wonderful volunteers—they become my own little "sniffari," where I can explore all the exciting sights and smells along the way! / Other than other dogs and restraint for my vetting, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I wasn’t a fan of being restrained during vetting, so a muzzle may be helpful during my vetting.  I’m a fun-loving gal looking for a wonderful family for life! Story
Meet Percy!!! He is a handsome 2-year-old Pitty mix. He is a little cross- eyed with a lot of energy. Percy has the potential like most Pitties to be snuggling couch potato.  Percy has the fastest zoomies. Itstarts with a boop to the snoot, a directed look, or a slight stomp of your foot and off he goes. Because he is a big powerful boy he would be better with teenagers. He can be redirected from zoomies by throwing his favorite ball on a rope and continuing to play ball until he tires. He does very well in his crate and jumps right in with the suggestion of a cookie. He doesn’t mind getting a bath and only complains when his dinner is late. Percy would be better with a female dog that likes to play. He is a little fearful of storms and will try to put his entire body in your lap or snuggle under your chair. Adoption fee $300 includes spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms. Story
Diamond a 5 year old Pitbull and Husky mix has been in rescue for 4 years and through no fault of her own. If you need a “Ride or Die”, she is your girl. She loves a car ride. She will look into the cars around her silently judging the occupants. Diamond has conflicting genetics. Her pitbull side wants to snuggle on the couch with someone she loves. Her Husky side wants to jump the fence and chase after deer, or wants to find the neighborhood children to visit with.  Diamond does not show well at adoptions. People are drawn to her different colored eyes (one brown, one blue), but Diamond shrinks away trying to make herself small to avoid the attention. Diamond tolerates being petted by strangers. It is only after she learns to trust you that she gets excited and seeks you out. Diamond has been in two foster homes. The second home was a better fit, as she does not do well with cats and she was crated much of the time. She still loses her mind when she sees her other family. Diamond never forgets those that earn her love. Once Diamond loves you she begins to melt as you pet her, turning into a pibbie puddle on the ground waiting for her belly rub. If you have a high fence 6+ feet or don’t mind leash walking come meet Diamond. Diamond knows her assignment and will quickly go potty every time she is walked. Adoption fee is $300 Diamond is fully vetted: vaccines, spayed, microchipped, tested negative for heartworms. To fill out an application visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/generic ##1183334##
