Athena is a wonderful, sweet, kind, so loving and so well behaved Pitt/Boxer Mix. She loves to cuddle, go for walks and play. She truly is the sweetest dog and she will cuddle up next to you with a cozy blanket and be in heaven, she is so affectionate and calm. She is completely potty trained and NEVER has an accident in the house. We love her but my elderly mother who is 91 lives with' us and has Asthma and COPD and is allergic to so many things. The dog has caused her very difficult related health issues and the doctor said she is highly allergic. We want to make sure Athena goes to a wonderful home with lots of love.

Ottis is our son’s dog but has moved and now has no room for Ottis and or outdoors for him. So now Ottis lives with us ! Ottis is a big baby he knows to sit and give paw! He is a sweet boy but powerful! We are unable to keep him due to him not realizing how powerful he is lol! We have 5 littles 3 and under that he playfully pushes, stampedes, and loves to eat their foods!! This is no fault of his he is just a big pup who is enjoying life but with all the littles we can not keep him!

She was previously with us last year and became very urgent due to the stress of being in a kennel environment. Orion is 8 years old, 55 pounds, and still has plenty of silliness up his sleeve. This curious, friendly fellow enjoys exploring, accepting pets, and following his person around for a little game of “tag.” During a recent visit to the playroom, staff asked him to sit for a treat, and he offered a stand on his hind legs instead. Perhaps he thought the assignment needed a creative touch. Toys weren’t especially interesting that day, but company, snacks, and a chance to sniff certainly were. 

Orion would love a home where he can enjoy sniffing walks, playful moments, and affection from someone who appreciates his spunky spirit. He can pull on leash when eager to explore, so some practice with calmer walks would be helpful. His experience with cats, children, and other dogs is unknown. A veterinarian also checked a lump beside his spine and identified it as a benign cyst that can be monitored; removal is optional. For Orion, a home means having someone to follow because they’re his person, a familiar place to rest, and the chance to bring a little unexpected joy to everyday life. 

All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. X-rays showed that his right hip is partially dislocated, and a veterinarian recommends femoral head ostectomy, or FHO surgery, which removes the ball of the hip joint. His adopter should be prepared for substantial veterinary expenses and recovery care guided by their veterinarian. Shelter stress has made it difficult for him to rest, so placement outside the kennel environment is especially important. His compatibility with dogs, cats, and children is unknown. She is a pure lovable fat girl will lick you to death she thinks the world is there to love on her biggest issues are separation anxiety. And I have been working on that got her up to a hour able to be alone helps having a playmate. She is not crated she’s use to being able to run sleeps with me. She does have hip dysplasia due to small mom and being a big pup. I am moving into a small camper and she deserves better than that. I am disabled and it’s hard taking her out all the time due to my pain. So I want her to have a good owner to love and give her the room and attention she deserves a yard or big area to run or kids to play with she loves all people and animals she thinks everyone is there to love on her.
