Story
Meet Sweet Mama Moosh! For years, Sweet Mama Moosh has known what it means to survive—but not what it feels like to truly belong. This beautiful 4-5 year old girl spent her life on the streets, where neighbors watched her lovingly raise at least two litters of puppies. While she made sure her babies were safe, no one was there to make sure she was. She endured hunger, uncertainty, and even an injured paw, yet somehow never lost her gentle, loving heart. When we trapped her, the plan was simply to spay her and return her to the streets. But after spending time with her, we knew we couldn't do it. Sweet Mama Moosh is far too affectionate, trusting, and deserving of love to spend another day wondering where she'll sleep or if she'll have enough to eat. She has fought to survive long enough. Now it's her turn to be cared for. Today, her paw has completely healed, and she has blossomed into a happy, healthy, beautiful girl who is finally ready for the life she's always deserved. She is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico and is now spayed, vaccinated, up to date on preventatives, potty trained and crate trained! Such an amazing girl!! She adores gentle pets, leisurely walks, and never says no to a tasty snack. 🥹 She has lived alongside other dogs on the streets. While she'll politely correct a dog that gets too pushy, she has otherwise done well around other dogs. Right now, Sweet Mama Moosh needs someone willing to open their heart and home—whether that's through fostering, foster-to-adopt, or giving her the forever family she's never had. If you've ever thought about changing a dog's life, this is your chance. Sweet Mama Moosh has spent years giving everything she had to survive and to care for others. Now she's simply asking for someone to choose her. Please help us give this sweet girl the ending she's waited her whole life for. ❤️

Story
WARNING - Heartbreaking story with a happy ending! Pecan's story is one no puppy should ever have to live through. He and his brother and sister were dumped in a busy neighborhood in Puerto Rico and left to survive completely on their own. For nearly a month, the three puppies wandered the streets searching for scraps of food, only to be chased away and shooed from homes and businesses wherever they went. Their future looked bleak until one compassionate stranger reached out to rescue with an urgent message: "Come pick them up, or I'm bringing them to be euthanized." Thankfully, rescue stepped in just in time. Today, Pecan is safe, fully vetted, and thriving in his foster home in the States. While he's still a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for his sweet personality to shine through. Once he knows he's safe, he absolutely melts into pets, cuddles, and affection. He loves being loved and happily leans in for every scratch and belly rub he can get. Pecan is wonderful with other dogs and especially adores children. Watching him play with his canine friends or gently soak up attention from kids is a reminder of just how forgiving dogs can be, despite everything they've been through. He's a gentle, loving boy who simply wants to be part of a family. After surviving abandonment and weeks of uncertainty, Pecan is finally getting a taste of the good life. Now he's just waiting for one thing left—a forever family who will show him that he'll never have to wonder where his next meal, cuddle, or safe place to sleep will come from again.

Story
Meet Lumos, a bright and bouncy 1-year-old Boxer mix whose name is as magical as his personality! Weighing in at 45 lbs, Lumos is full of life, love, and goofy charm. This playful pup is a total socialite—he adores other dogs and thrives on playtime, especially games of fetch and tug of war. He’s not just fun—he’s smart too! Lumos already knows several commands like sit, stay, lay, paw, and place, and he’s fully potty trained. Lumos greets everyone like a long-lost friend, bringing enthusiastic energy and a wagging tail wherever he goes. Because of his exuberant spirit (and a bit of jumping), he’d be happiest in a home with older children. Due to his energy levels, he would love a fenced in yard for playing fetch and he would prefer a home without kitties. If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate, and active companion, Lumos might be your perfect match! Lumos is currently being fostered in RI and is available for adoption throughout Northeastern states. *All breed listings are educated guesses and not guaranteed*

Story
Meet Dexter, a handsome 6-month-old brindle boy with the combination of playful puppy spirit and affectionate cuddles. If you're looking for a best friend who is just as happy frolicking as he is being beside you for snuggles, Dexter may be the one you've been waiting for.Dexter’s journey began when he was picked up as a stray by animal control in Tennessee. Thankfully, he's now safe in a loving southern foster home where his sweet personality is shining brighter every day as he patiently waits for his forever family. This smart, lovable pup adores his canine foster siblings and would be thrilled to have a playful dog companion in his new home. He's making progress with his puppy house training, is already crate trained, and is learning to walk nicely on a leash. Dexter has also proven to be an easy travel companion, staying calm and quiet in his crate during car rides.Like any young puppy, Dexter will benefit from a family committed to continuing his training, socialization, and positive reinforcement as he grows into an amazing adult dog. He would thrive in a somewhat active home where he can enjoy plenty of playtime, adventures, and, of course, lots of cuddle sessions with the people he loves. If you're ready to welcome a sweet, intelligent puppy with a heart full of love and a lifetime of loyalty to give, Dexter is ready to meet you.All known information about the animal is listed above. Story
Meet Stormy!Stormy is a healthy, beautiful 2-year-old Boxer mix with a big personality, a lot of love, and the most enthusiasm.Despite a rough start in life, Stormy has grown far beyond that. She greets each day with joy, optimism, and a tail that never seems to stop wagging. She absolutely loves people and thrives on human companionship. Whether she's joining you for an adventure or curling up beside you on the couch, Stormy is happiest when she's with her favorite humans. As a young Boxer mix, Stormy is full of energy and loves to stay active. She would be an excellent companion for someone who enjoys walking, hiking, training, or other outdoor activities. After she's had a chance to burn off some energy, she's more than happy to settle in for snuggles and affection (and watching movies). Stormy is exceptionally intelligent and eager to learn. She has earned multiple training certificates, successfully completed basic obedience, and has been professionally trained by Dogs by Doug in Connecticut. She knows her skills and does best with a person or family who will continue to reinforce the structure, consistency, and training she has worked so hard to achieve.Stormy is fully house trained, she has not had an accident in over 6 months. She is also crate trained, although she has proven herself trustworthy enough that a crate is generally unnecessary except in special circumstances or when management is needed. Stormy needs to be an only dog. She has been with other dogs but is selective and is having difficulty co-existing with the other dog in her home. She loves having her people all to herself and will thrive in a household where she can be the center of attention without the stress of sharing her space with another pet.Stormy is looking for a dedicated adopter who has the time and commitment to continue her training, work with her regularly, and provide the daily exercise and mental stimulation she desperately needs. She is not a couch-potato dog and will flourish with an active person or family who can give her consistent outlets for her energy and intelligence. In return, Stormy will reward her family with unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and plenty of laughter. She is a smart, loving, and resilient dog who is ready to leave her difficult past behind and start the next chapter of her life with a family who understands her needs and appreciates all that she has to offer.Could Stormy be the missing piece in your family?
