Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: Yes, dog savvy catsGood with kids: Older children only (13+)Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesZaria is an affectionate, and loyal girl with a real zest for life. She is a medium energy dog who enjoys a play session, followed by a nap. She benefits from slow introductions to other dogs. She would also be fine as an only dog. Zaria happily entertains herself with toys or a romp in the backyard. She has lived with cats and has for the most part ignored their presence. Zaria loves her people and enjoys making new human friends. She can be an enthusiastic greeter and sometimes forgets her size, so older dog-savvy children would be best for her. Zaria enjoys going for walks around the neighborhood and looks to her humans for reassurance and guidance in new situations. Zaria is an intelligent girl and very eager to please. She knows a plethora of commands, and loves to learn new things every day. She is fully house trained and crate trained. Zaria enjoys relaxing in her crate throughout the day and sleeps soundly in it overnight. She is looking for an experienced and patient adopter who will continue to provide her with structure and routine so she can continue to be her best self. Are you the lucky family who gets to add Zaria to your bunch? Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Story
I adopted Bishop 6 years ago from a pound in West Virginia. I've spent countless hours loving and training him. Bishop is coming up on 11 years old so generally he's on the more mellow side. He's very loving with his people and will spend all day next to you on the couch or sunbathing. He no longer needs a ton of exercise since he's older. just a walk and a short play will suit him wonderfully. Over the years Bishop has grown into a lovely companion, unfortunately he does have a checkered past so he struggles with moderate resource guarding. Just make sure he's fed on the opposite side of the room from any other pets. He has a few select doggy friends but when introduced to new people and dogs things have to move pretty slowly. He has lived with other dogs in the past. I think Bishop would do well in a calm house with zero or one other dog, no kids, and either a large yard with no nearby neighbors or some open, calm space. Bishop is loyal, loving, protective, and a little crazy.

Story
He’s a friendly dog, but he’s not getting consistent care. He’s often left alone for long periods, sometimes a full day. He’s not getting regular walks or structure, and I can’t fully take care of him because I work and I’m not the primary person responsible. The crate situation is also not ideal for him long-term. I want to surrender him so he can go to a home or rescue that can properly care for him.

Story
Winnie's story is that she's a Christmas puppy born to a litter on 12/25/2022. I adopted her at 8 months old and she got along great with my older dog and my cat. I had my baby in 1/2024 and she was gentle with my baby. She's a sweet and loving girl, although very high strung and hyperactive. Due to housing crisis and after losing my cat, I had to move in with my parents in April of 24. I also had to put my older dog to sleep about a month ago, so Winnie has been alone. My parents dog is aggressive and recently started to attack Winnie. Winnie has always got along with every other dog she's met. My parents have put their foot down about me continuing to live at their house with Winnie because they don't want to risk having more of these fights, so I have no choice but to surrender her. She is silly, loving, anxious, cuddly, sweet and playful. I think she would ideally do well in a home with someone patient and willing to help her cope with her hyperactivity and has room to run.
