Story
Archie is a handsome almost 4 -year-old pup weighing around 45 to 50 pounds. With his endearing personality and gentle demeanor, Archie has won over the hearts of everyone he meets. He's particularly fond of feline friends and gets along famously with female dogs. However, he prefers and needs a home without male dogs, as he feels more comfortable in their absence. Despite past uncertainties, Archie's resilience shines through. He's a bit shy at first, needing some time and patience to acclimate to new surroundings and people. But once he feels secure, he blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion, ready to shower his new family with endless love and devotion. Archie is a pro at crate training and is already neutered. Plus, rest assured, he'll be up-to-date on all his vaccinations before joining his forever home. In a gesture of goodwill, Archie's adoption fee will be offered at a special reduced rate for the right family. This is our way of ensuring that Archie finds the perfect match and his forever home. One touching testament to Archie's sweet nature is the heartfelt goodbye from his previous caretaker. Through tears, he spoke of Archie's goodness and the joy he would bring to his future family. It's clear that Archie's love knows no bounds, and he's ready to share it with you. If you believe Archie could be the missing piece to complete your family puzzle, don't hesitate to reach to fill out an application to arrange a meet-and-greet with this incredible pup. Let's make 2024 the year Archie finds his happily ever after.

My father passed away recently. He has had King (boxer) for 8 or 9yrs, I'm not sure. He has not been fixed. He has not been aggressive toward anybody or animal. Since he has been with me. In fact he has been very friendly to everyone he has come in contact with him. Sadly I can't keep him. I'm moving by the end of April.

Story
Ziggy is an older distiguished gentledog. He loves to be a couch potato. He does love going for a walk. He is always happy to see people and give them his paw. He follows commands and is crate trained. His nickname is "Tiger" because of his coat. He is very loving to people and selective to other dogs. Proper introduction is always a must. He wouldn't be ideal with a house that has small children. He is always eager to please. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He would love to travel anywhere in the US or Canada. ##1545628##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Josie is a beautiful girl who loves everyone she meets!  Josie's ideal family/person will have a quiet, structured home with a solid routine.  She'll be an eager companion for runs, hikes, daily walks & playtime in a fenced in yard. If you've ever considered trying dog agility, Josie would be up for that, too!  Miss Josie would prefer to have someone who's home more than they're away, but she's been making great progress with crate training. This sweet soul is a sensitive one; she needs your love, respect and patience in order to thrive.  She's smart as a whip and eager to please; she'll gain confidence as you help her learn your daily household routine.   Josie doesn't like loud noises or chaos; she'd be happiest in a suburban or rural setting and we're recommending only older, respectful children. Josie is dog selective, so a meet and greet with any resident or frequently visiting dogs is a must! And no cats for this little lady!  If you're looking for a sweet, active girl who will enjoy cuddling on the couch as much as hiking through the woods with you, Josie could be the one for you!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. &#226&#150&#186 We do not adopt to Canada  due to border restrictions and breed-specific legislation &#226&#150&#186 We adopt & foster locally only ; within an approximately 55 mile radius of Lockport, NY 14094 USA Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, deworming & flea treatment. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Say hello to beautiful Maggie (Meg)!!   Maggie is full of personality and full of energy! She will thrive with a family who can keep her busy and continue with her training as she settles into her new home. She does enjoy being with her people and would probably prefer a home where she is not left alone for extensive periods of time.   Maggie falls in love with everyone she meets! She wants to be the center of attention and is very respectful for people. She is a bit on the sensitive side, but I can promise you she will pour her entire heart into whatever she is doing. Maggie is quick, athletic, with springs in her feet and she picks up on skills quickly! She would probably do well in an agility class or as a running partner.   Maggie would do well with kids over the age of 12 due to her size and strength. She would do best as an only dog, or with a calmer, more mature housemate who can let her know when it’s time to stop playing. Maggie has met lots of dogs and does enjoy playing one on one. But she would not be a good confidante for a daycare or dog park setting. Her favorite way to play? Watch how fast I run!!!   Maggie has a high prey drive, so she's not good with cats or other small animals. She is crate trained, potty trained and working on her manners with her foster mom!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Wilkes is a total sweetheart looking for an adopter to welcome him to his brand new life! Could it be you? Handsome and sweet, this boy is full of southern charm. Wilkes can be shy at first, but once he warms up he just wants to be with his people and shower them with affection. Wilkes gets along well with a female doggie in his foster home, and we think he would do well with another social, friendly female as long as he can make friends at his own pace. He would also be happy to be your one and only! In fact, he makes a great work-from-home buddy!  Wilkes is crate trained and walks nicely on a leash. He loves to learn and happily shows off his skills in exchange for treats!  A youngster at just about a year and a half old, Wilkes would do best in a calm home where he can continue to learn about how wonderful life can be! He is hoping for that special someone who will show him all the warmth and love he deserves. Open your heart and home to Wilkes by applying to adopt today! A meet a greet with any resident or frequently visiting dogs is required. Please, no kitties, small dogs, or small kids for Wilkes.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
