Story
Meet Rosie, a super sweet girl with a heart as big as Texas! Rosie had a bit of an adventurous stint as a stray, but now she's all set to find her perfect forever home.Rosie is a furry socialite who gets along wonderfully with her fellow doggie pals. However, she does have one little quirk—cats and Rosie aren't exactly a match made in heaven. Those frisky felines tend to trigger her playful chase instincts! When it comes to humans, Rosie is a total cuddlebug. She's convinced she's a lap dog and won't hesitate to hop right up for some quality snuggle time. But here's the fun part: Rosie's got a spirited teenage attitude. When she's told "no" or caught doing something she shouldn't, she's not one to back down quietly—she'll talk back with all the sass!If you're ready to bring a sweet and silly addition to your family, Rosie is more than prepared for her forever home. And yes, she's absolutely transportable, so don't let the Texas distance discourage you, transport only costs $230. Apply today and let the fun begin! Online Application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
Sweet Daisy Mae This young lady, who is 2 years old is a flashy red brindle pure boxer. She is built more of the American boxer type. She is on the smaller side, but with a kind and large personality. Typical boxer traits. She loves to play and cuddle. She is ideally an inside dog, as this breed does not tolerate the heat well. Cuddling on the couch with you will be her favorite thing. These babies are prone to being very close with their people and need that human interaction. She adores children and loves having another mate to play with. She is a cat chaser, so would do better in a home without kitties. Daisy does not do well outside left unattended because she just wants to be with her humans and can try to escape. She is an all-around great dog looking for the perfect family who is active and loves to spend time with their pets. She is fully vetted and ready to go. She is available for adoption via ground transportation as well.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Josie is a beautiful girl who loves everyone she meets!  Josie's ideal family/person will have a quiet, structured home with a solid routine.  She'll be an eager companion for runs, hikes, daily walks & playtime in a fenced in yard. If you've ever considered trying dog agility, Josie would be up for that, too!  Miss Josie would prefer to have someone who's home more than they're away, but she's been making great progress with crate training. This sweet soul is a sensitive one; she needs your love, respect and patience in order to thrive.  She's smart as a whip and eager to please; she'll gain confidence as you help her learn your daily household routine.   Josie doesn't like loud noises or chaos; she'd be happiest in a suburban or rural setting and we're recommending only older, respectful children. Josie is dog selective, so a meet and greet with any resident or frequently visiting dogs is a must! And no cats for this little lady!  If you're looking for a sweet, active girl who will enjoy cuddling on the couch as much as hiking through the woods with you, Josie could be the one for you!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. &#226&#150&#186 We do not adopt to Canada  due to border restrictions and breed-specific legislation &#226&#150&#186 We adopt & foster locally only ; within an approximately 55 mile radius of Lockport, NY 14094 USA Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, deworming & flea treatment. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Say hello to beautiful Maggie (Meg)!!   Maggie is full of personality and full of energy! She will thrive with a family who can keep her busy and continue with her training as she settles into her new home. She does enjoy being with her people and would probably prefer a home where she is not left alone for extensive periods of time.   Maggie falls in love with everyone she meets! She wants to be the center of attention and is very respectful for people. She is a bit on the sensitive side, but I can promise you she will pour her entire heart into whatever she is doing. Maggie is quick, athletic, with springs in her feet and she picks up on skills quickly! She would probably do well in an agility class or as a running partner.   Maggie would do well with kids over the age of 12 due to her size and strength. She would do best as an only dog, or with a calmer, more mature housemate who can let her know when it’s time to stop playing. Maggie has met lots of dogs and does enjoy playing one on one. But she would not be a good confidante for a daycare or dog park setting. Her favorite way to play? Watch how fast I run!!!   Maggie has a high prey drive, so she's not good with cats or other small animals. She is crate trained, potty trained and working on her manners with her foster mom!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bruno!! This sweet boy has had a tough past but he is ever so resilient! He LOVES people but no kitties, please! He has had a tough time recently so currently he needs to be your one and only pet. Bruno knows hand commands for sit, down, and place. He is so smart! He is housebroken BUT he does not handle change well so please expect some accidents during the first week or so in his new home. Once he settles in, when he wants or needs to go out, he will bark OR he nibbles on your knees and elbows. Yes, this sounds strange but he is trying to "talk" to you!  Bruno loves to lay on the floor or couch and have his belly and neck scratched. He loves to chew on toys, and play with treat filled toys. He loves watching out the windows and observing what's going on in his neighborhood. Bruno would love best to live in a quiet home, he loves a country setting!  Any family would be lucky to have him.
