He will be a large sized dog as an adult. He is an energetic, affectionate pup that likes other dogs and pups. He is a great companion for an active family with a secure fence, children over 6 years of age and another dog. Large breed experience is recommended. He is an indoor dog. He will like walks, car rides, toys and dog beds. He will require daily walks and dog training once he has all his shots. No apartments! We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. Ann Marie is the kind of dog who makes you wonder why anyone ever leaves the couch in the first place. One look at her wiggly little body, her happy piggy-snorts, and her dramatic belly-flop routine and you’ll understand exactly why her foster calls her the absolute sweetest girl ever. Honestly, “Ann Marie” feels a little too formal for a dog whose greatest passions in life are naps, snacks, belly rubs, and aggressively cuddling anyone who dares sit down near her. This girl is basically a professional snuggler. She may not have the trophy to prove it, but she is fully convinced she won first place years ago. Her signature move? The Belly Roll™. The second she senses affection might be available, she’ll dramatically plop onto her back, wiggle-wiggle across the couch, and patiently wait for her spa treatment. She’s got enough goofy sparkle left to make you laugh every day, but none of the “chaos gremlin” energy that comes with younger dogs. She is the perfect mix of silly and settled. Her foster says she spends most of her day happily napping on the couch, and honestly? She’s extremely talented at it. Ann Marie absolutely adores people. She lights up around affection and naturally gravitates toward human companionship wherever she goes. She’s lived with a child and done wonderfully, and her foster says she’s been around large groups of people in the home and happily soaked up every ounce of attention. She’s the kind of dog who wants to quietly exist alongside her people, occasionally waddling over for kisses and couch cuddles before returning to her very important nap schedule. When it comes to other dogs, Ann Marie is very much a “thank you, but I already have my people” kind of girl. She’s confident, socially appropriate, and has shown respectful greetings and easy leash manners around other dogs, but she isn’t particularly interested in doggy friendships or chaotic playgroups. Her behavior team described her as more of a roamer who prefers calm energy and personal space. Because of that, Ann Marie would likely be happiest as the only dog in the home where she can fully relax and soak up all the attention. However, with the right match, she may also do well with a calm, confident, lower-energy male dog who respects boundaries and doesn’t try to constantly engage her. If there’s already another dog in the home, her rescue team would want a trainer discussion beforehand to help ensure it’s the right fit for everyone involved. She has also done well around cats, but she would do best with calm, dog-savvy kitties who mostly keep to themselves. Ann Marie isn’t looking for a feline wrestling partner, so playful cats who want to zoom around, swat at her, or constantly get in her face probably wouldn’t be her style. A mellow, respectful cat companion would be much more her speed. She’s house-trained, non-destructive, rides wonderfully in the car, walks beautifully on leash, and doesn’t need much exercise beyond short strolls and sniffy adventures. Remy is the kind of puppy who makes a house feel warmer just by being in it. He has a naturally happy, affectionate personality and loves being part of whatever is going on around him. At this age, everything is exciting and worth exploring, and Remy approaches life with a sweet curiosity that makes him incredibly fun to watch grow. He loves following people from room to room, checking in to see what they’re doing, and then happily settling nearby once he knows he’s included. He has a playful side that shines most when he’s with other dogs or when someone gets down on the floor to play with him. Toys are exciting, running around the yard is exciting, and honestly, just existing as a puppy seems exciting to Remy. If you're looking for a best friend with the absolute best smile and a sugary sweet affectionate soul, meet Tango the Tiny Dancer. This boy is the full package: loyal, playful, soooo loving, and a total goofball with the pittie head that’ll make you fall in love at first sight! We believe Tango is a Boxer/Pittie mix around 1 year old and weighs approximately 45 pounds. He has the perfect little compact body and the most handsome face ever. Treats are the way to this boy’s heart, and he’ll show his appreciation with his signature toothy grin and the happiest tail wag you’ve ever seen. His love for people runs deep. His foster says her favorite thing about him is how he’ll climb into her lap and just gaze at her like she’s the most important person in the world. Tango has lived harmoniously with a full dog squad, four pups in total, and he's been the life of the party. Whether it’s his dominant older foster sister, his high-energy lab buddy, or two playful 1.5-year-old boys. He knows how to read the room and match energy. He plays respectfully, knows when to follow the rules, and can roughhouse with the best of them. He also attends a daycare where he mingles like a pro with a group of 20-30 dogs. His best friends there? A Doberman and another pittie. He really shines around dogs his size or playful puppies who love a good game of chase. He would thrive in a home with another medium energy dog to spend his days with. After a bit of play, Tango knows how to settle down. One of our favorite moments with him was after the crowd cleared and he just hung out with us in a quiet room, relaxed and content, soaking up some one-on-one time. He’ll make a great adventure buddy followed by an evening relaxing on the couch. He walks beautifully on leash and would be the kind of dog you take to the park, patio, or trail and know he’ll be right by your side, smiling the whole way. At home, he’s crate trained and sleeps through the night like a champ. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Lucy is a sweet, playful and loving dog. She’s very smart and would make any family a beloved pet. Nothing would make her happier than playing with your kids or snoozing next to you. She loves affection but she is not emotionally needy. She is very loyal. She doesn’t get up on furniture unless invited. If you give her a treat you won't feel her teeth, she has a 'soft mouth'. She is a vigilant watchdog and will keep you and your property safe. She can tell the difference between friendly visitors and unknown people. I love this dog. She is used to me getting in her face with kisses so snapping IS NOT an issue! She will always want to play or pay attention to any family member. I have to give her up because I am moving to a home that does not allow dogs. I know that if you meet Lucy, you and your family will have smiles on your faces.

Cosmo is a 2 year old mixed breed that was adopted when he was about 5-6 months old. His exact birthday is unknown, but we celebrate is on Valentine's Day. He is a very intelligent dog that is highly food motivated and eager to please. He is still young and requires diligence with his training. That is the main reason he is be re-homed as I am unable to spend the time on his training that is best for him due to a change in our family. He knows the following commands well: sit, down, off, place, stay, wait, leave it, and touch. Needs more work on not jumping up when saying hello or being excited. He is a very loving pet that loves to snuggle and be close to his humans. Licking is his love language. He is protective of his family and barks when new people enter the house. After calming down in his kennel for a few minutes he can then come out to say hello. He also requires training on meeting new dogs, he gets scared and defensive around them. Loves his doggy sister though!
