He will be a large sized dog as an adult. He is an energetic, affectionate pup that likes other dogs and pups. He is a great companion for an active family with a secure fence, children over 6 years of age and another dog. Large breed experience is recommended. He is an indoor dog. He will like walks, car rides, toys and dog beds. He will require daily walks and dog training once he has all his shots. No apartments! He will be a medium to large dog as an adult. Rubble, his mom (45 lb) and littermates were found running down access road of a highway when they were 5 weeks old. Everyone in litter and mom died of Distemper (due to owner not giving them shots). Rubble is the sole survivor. He will be special needs throughout his life. He is a very special puppy that has tons of love to give and loves all humans, children, playing with other polite /low energy dogs, playing with toys and visiting with volunteers/staff getting chicken /treats. Did we say he LOVES his humans? When he plays and does his walk abouts you do not see any affects of distemper. He is crate trained, walks on a leash and loves car rides. He will benefit from some continued obediance training and public socialization with new environmental objects. He will play, then will hang out on the couch or your lap. He requires an owned home with a securely fenced yard in a colder climate as the hot TX temperature is not conducive to his health. Meet Maralyn, the five-year-old fifty one pound Pitt mix. Maralyn is bursting love and joy. Her amiable and gentle nature is evident in her interactions with visitors, as she refrains from barking or growling. She harmoniously coexists with the two resident pugs. Ideal for her is a spacious home, preferably with a yard, and she’s great with other dogs. Not fond of leash walks, she thrives in her home environment.
