IF YOU CAN SEE THIS POSTING, THIS ANIMAL IS STILL HAVING APPLICATIONS BEING TAKEN. WE UPDATE OUR SITE DAILY.   Meet Mia! She's a 5yo boxer/lab mix who is a total sweetheart! One of her ears is typical boxer & the other ear is more lab but she has a docked tail. Her coat feels like velvet it's so soft & we're not quite sure what's in her dna that gave her that fur. This girl has def had pups it seems and now she's ready to be a dog and not just a Mom. She is up to date on her vaccines, is spayed & is HW neg. We're pretty sure she lived with dogs in her past life but doesn't really interact with those in her fosterhome. Mia doesn't have a mean bone in her body with people or other dogs though! We have no idea about cats but boxers typically have a fairly high prey drive, so we're not recommending that she be put into a home with one. She seems to be gentle with the kids she's met but we recommend if there are children in the home that they be older since she really just doesn't realize her size. Mi is housetrained and has very good house manners so it seems she was living in a home (rather than outside) prior to her coming here. She's pretty much a couch potato in the home and loves to snuggle with us! Mia goes up to anyone who will show her attention, so she's not necessarily a watchdog LOL If your schedule has her alone for multiple hrs during a typical day, please don't apply as she simply loves people too much for that. Cinna is friendly to all people she has met and has been doing well making friends with other dogs at the shelter. She is very energetic, out going and loves to snuggle. Cinna has been working with staff to learn basic commands and leash training, she's been improving more each day. Cinna would benefit from continued training and owners that can give her a moderate amount of daily exercise; mental and physical exercise to ensure she will be the very best she can be!Cinna is spayed, microchipped & up to date on all vaccinations. Randy is a 15 week old boxer mix.he was found as a stray and taken into foster care to get healthy and ready for his forever home. Randy is dog kid and cat friendly.  He is up to date on vaccines butt isn't neutered yet due to being under weight in when he came in.  Randy has put on weight and is ready for his forever home finally.  He will leave with a neuter contract unless we can get him done prior to transport .
