Maci – A Sweet, Energetic Soul Ready for Her Forever Home
Hi there! My name’s Maci, and I’ve been through a lot in my short life. I was found in pretty rough shape, living on my owner’s roof for months without proper care. I was emaciated and had to endure the cold, but thankfully, I’m safe now and in much better shape. I’ve gained some healthy weight and I’m finally ready to find my forever home!
I may have had a tough start, but I’m full of energy, love, and personality. I’m a ball of energy who loves to be on the move, so if you’re looking for a running or hiking buddy, I’m your girl! I’m always up for adventure, and I’ll be by your side the whole time, ready to go wherever you lead me. But I’m also a bit of a couch potato—when I’m not running around, you’ll find me snuggling up with a blanket, being a full-on blanket hog (I can’t help it, they’re just so cozy!).
I’m an attention hog, too. I love people and I just want to be around you, giving you all the love and kisses I can. I’m a total cuddle bug and will happily curl up next to you, ready to shower you with affection. I’m also really food motivated, so I’ll do my best to please you if you’ve got a treat or two. I can be a little clumsy at times, but that’s just part of my goofy charm!
I’m smart and love toys, so I’d be thrilled to have some fun with you and maybe even learn a few things along the way. I do need a little basic training, especially with leash manners, but I’m eager to learn. I can be a strong chewer, though, so I’ll need some durable toys to keep me entertained. I’m also a bit of a trash picker, so you’ll need to keep things out of reach!
I get along well with both other dogs and cats, and I’m kid-friendly too. I love to give kisses and I’m always excited to make new friends—two-legged or four-legged. I do great in the car, so you can take me on all your adventures. I’m also a velcro dog, which means I’ll stick by your side, always wanting to be close to you.
I’ve been through a lot, but I’m a loving, playful, and goofy dog who just wants to share all the joy I have left in my heart. If you’re looking for a dog who’ll keep you on your toes and fill your life with love and laughter, I could be the perfect match for you.
