Banksy is such a sweet boy. He`s eager to please and loves to be pet. He`ll happily zoom around to amuse himself when left to his own devices, but he`ll settle right down next to your side for as long as you`ll pet him. He loves attention. He`s so friendly and loves everyone! He’s done well around children, even gotten along well with other dogs. He love attending in shelter playgroups and has proven that he’s great at reading other dogs’ social cues. If they want him to take it easy he will, but if they want him to play rough and rowdy he can do that too! We`re not sure what his life was like before he came into the shelter as a stray on 5/3/23, but based on the fact that he`s missing the top of his right ear we can only assume it was rough. We`re determined to find him a home where he`ll be surrounded by love and he can forget about any hard times.

Meet Mija! At under a year old, this Boxer mix is every bit the bouncy, bright eyed pup you’d expect. She’s full of enthusiasm, curiosity, and wiggles. Mija is always excited to get out of her kennel and be part of the action. She absolutely loves attention and lights up the second you focus on her. If you’ve got a toy or a treat in your hand, she’s even more thrilled – so much for she won’t be able to keep all four paws on the ground! She’s still working on her manners and tends to jump up, especially when she’s excited or wants something. Squeaky toys are her favorite! She’ll happily chase after them and pounce with adorable puppy energy, then trot right back to you to keep the fun going. She prefers interactive play and loves being engaged with her person. Treats are a big motivator for her, though she doesn’t know any tricks yet. When you slow things down and give her pets, Mija melts into the attention. Nezzy is 5 years old and we got her 4 years ago we rescued her from a dumpster. We have put A LOT of time and training into Nezzy and she has the most caring and loving heart. My wife and I have a 4 month at home and we have finally come to terms that we just don't have time for her long stays in the kennel and not enough attention. Nezzy lives with one other dog and they get along but it took a long time for them to get along. Nezzy also went to daycare frequently before we had the baby and got along with almost all the dogs. That being said Nezzy has a very excited and vocal greeting most dogs don't react to well it takes them time to accumulate to her. I would not recommend just throwing her in with another dog all willy nilly. Nezzy is VERY food driven she will do anything for any type of food, she will literally eat anything if you let her! We have used this to help train her and in the past we used a shock collar using the sound and vibration as she responds well to those.

Story
Geoff was rescued from a formerly traumatic home. He is live Teddy Bear & extraordinarily affectionate. The vet nicknamed him "Velcro" as he wants to be with you wherever you go. Because of unknown trauma, he can be startled easily and will immediately flip on his back to expose his belly to show submission and seek a chest/belly rub. He has never had an accident in the home and is cage trained or will lie and chew on his "mat" in the living room or bedroom. He was heart worm positive and currently on his last dose of antibiotic treatment. He has no known medical issues. He also loves to run and play outside. If you are seeking a loving, affectionate, and loyal companion, Geoff will be a treasure beyond compare. I am a disabled veteran and needing hospitalization for en extended amount of time and can no longer give him the love and attention he deserves. He has a cage, harness, leash, bedding and raised dishes for water and food. All veterinarian records are available.

Despite his past, he shows zero food aggression and will even sit patiently while his bowl is set down — a wonderful sign of his trusting temperament.He is smart and eager to learn, quickly picking up commands like sit and stay. He responds best to positive reinforcement and calm, consistent leadership. He settles nicely in his crate and sleeps through the night.Bingo gets along great with children, even when they’re enthusiastic with affection. He has a gentle and tolerant nature. So far, Bingo has done well with other dogs and would likely thrive with a playful canine companion. We have not tested him with cats.He is a playful, enthusiastic boy who is still polishing his manners, but he responds quickly to guidance and continues to improve with structure and routine.Bingo would do best in a loving home ready to embrace an affectionate, loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be close to his people.

This medium sized sweetheart is great on a leash and very easy to handle, making outings with her a breeze. She’s happy to amuse herself, but she’s also incredibly friendly and always ready to reconnect with you.Canela knows how to sit on command and absolutely loves treats, which she takes gently from your hand (Though fair warning - if there’s a snack within reach, she may try to help herself!). She’s not much interested in toys, but she doesn’t need them - affection is her favorite reward.With her lower energy level and calm, gentle nature, Canela is perfectly content to stay right by your side for as long as you’ll pet her. Frank came into the shelter with his buddies Helen (A051118) and Dottie (A051119), and he’s been winning hearts ever since. This easygoing guy is a breeze to leash up and walks beautifully without pulling. Once he’s out in the play yard, Frank loves nothing more than to wander, sniff, and take in the world at his own pace. He may not know any fancy tricks yet, but he takes treats ever so gently from your hand and is always happy to lean in for some good pets. Give him a little love and he’ll reward you with the sweetest, sloppiest kisses.
