Story
Contrary to the audio, Lyles is not vicious. 😂 He’s actually a goofy, happy-go-lucky guy who is just excited to be included. Lyles has spent most of his life in shelters, passing through multiple organizations before eventually making his way to Lifeline. Despite all that waiting, he still greets each day with enthusiasm and hasn’t lost his love for people. He’s energetic, playful, and has done well with the dogs we’ve introduced him to so far. If your ideal weekend includes hikes, walks, dog-friendly patios, or any kind of adventure, Lyles would love to tag along. What we’d really love, though, is for Lyles to finally experience life as someone’s dog instead of another day in a kennel. Ready to meet Lyles? Apply to adopt him here: https://new.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/LLGC-A-28168 Not ready to adopt? Ask us about taking Lyles on a two-night sleepover. We think he’ll win you over pretty quickly. 💛🐾 Local & Nationwide Adoptions Welcome Local adopters are always welcome and encouraged! Story
Hi, I'm Mae! Age: Approx. 1 year Gender: Spayed Female Weight: 48 lbs Breed: Boxer Mix Favorites: Stuffed toys, playing with people Energy level: High Training: None apparent at this time Other important info about me: I’m a goofy, spirited gal that absolutely loves making new friends! I would do well in many types of homes as long as I get daily exercise and play time. I may be a bit too rambunctious for very young kids, but I am friendly with people of all ages. I do want to have my human companions all to myself though, so I need to be the only dog in the household. I haven’t been tested with cats at this time. If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an adoption inquiry through this listing, email mbas@montbelvieu.net, or call us at 281-214-9045!

Story
I've had Athena for a few years and while I do love her I'm just not able to take care of her anymore. I'm not home most of the day due to work so she is alone which I think is making her act out alittle. I've never really had behavioral issues with her other than she can get overly excited. For the most part she is an indoor dog. She enjoys fresh air but she does not like the heat! She does know to use the potty outside but right now part of her acting out is going inside which is my biggest problem. So im looking for someone that has the time to train her properly that will keep her indoors the way she enjoys. She deserves to be with someone that has plenty of time to spend with her. Also if its not to much of a problem I would enjoy updates on how she is doing.
