Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mavrix is a sweet, gentle soul who absolutely loves cuddles. While he can be a little anxious at first, his curiosity shines through, and he truly enjoys being around people. He appears to be dog- and cat-friendly so far. His foster reports that he is still getting adjusted to their home. He’s also a fairly quiet boy—the only time he’s barked has been when someone knocked on the door. Mavrix already knows how to sit and shake, and he’s housebroken, which makes him an easy addition to a home looking for a loving, well-mannered companion.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Transport Fee: Our basic transport fee is $300 for boxers traveling outside of Texas to their new homes in predetermined destinations(East Coast) using a trusted transport company. The transport is based on location and travel time. Note: Transport is not available within Texas or Louisiana. June 28, 2026, 10:55 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Heartworm NegativeUpdated Bio: Our sweet Hewitt has found himself back in the Houston Boxer Rescue(HBR) program. He's a little older now, but at 5, he's still got plenty of wonderful wigglebutt years ahead of him. He has become a very popular dog at Houston Boxer Rescue (HBR). He attends our annual Wine Walk and schmoozes the crowd. He also attends the Houston World Series of Dog Shows and is a perfect gentleman! He loves people and gets along well with other dogs. He does not like storms or fireworks, I mean, really, who does? Please consider Hewitt to be your lifelong member.   Original Bio: Talk about a transformation. Yep, that was me-I was almost at the rainbow bridge at only 18 months old when a kind person picked me up, and I found myself getting food, medicine, and love. Hi y’all, my name is Hewitt.  Can you believe how handsome I am? I had almost forgotten, but yes, I clean up pretty nice.  Despite my previous struggles, my foster dad says that I love people, and cuddling is one of my favorite things. I love toys, playing with the resident pup, but sometimes I get a little too excited. Guess it’s just getting used to living the great life. I will let you know when I need to go outside, so just show me the door. I will even get into my crate without any trouble.  While I am recovering well from my skin issues, I still need a bath every three to four days, but I promise to be still and not to splish splash.   I love being outdoors, lying in the grass, and soaking up the sun. Do you have a backyard and space for me? I am looking for a nice family who is just excited to see our love story blossom.  Looking forward to meeting you soon.           Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Transport Fee: Our basic transport fee is $300 for boxers traveling outside of Texas to their new homes in predetermined destinations(East Coast) using a trusted transport company. Elvy adores people and loves being part of the action.  She's happy to show off her good manners and already knows her basic commands.  She's not a big barker, but she'll give you plenty of joyful energy and affection.    Her favorite things?  Rolling around in the grass, soaking up the outdoors, and playing with her toys!  Elvy will gladly go into her crate when asked, but she'd much rather be lounging nearby, enjoying time wit her people. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion with a sweet spirit and plenty of love to share, Elvy might just be your perfect match.   We transport our dogs up North and out of Texas. Story
Coral is a resilient, sweet girl who is ready for her next chapter. She was found alone in a field in Galena Park severely emaciated and with several wounds, including injuries to her cheek and right eye. Thanks to the dedicated care from North Shore Animal Hospital, Coral has made an incredible recovery and continues to show everyone just how loving she is with every person she meets. Coral is blind in her right eye, but it causes her no pain and doesn’t slow her down. She loves squeaky toys and is great at playing fetch, happily bringing the toy back so you can throw it again. She rides like a queen in the car, knows how to sit on command, and has pretty good leash manners. She’s a gentle, affectionate dog who clearly enjoys being around people and getting the chance to run, play, and relax outside of the shelter environment. As we continue to learn more about her personality, we’ll be excited to share more about this special girl. Coral would thrive in a home or foster environment where she can continue to heal, feel safe, and be loved the way she deserves. 💛🐾
