Story
Meet Ms Mable the ultimate side kick. beside you is where she wants to be. take a step, she'll take a step. Walk anywhere and when you stop she sits down right beside you. Go for a car ride - she's all for it. She loves her chairs and will share yours or sit in her own. She gives the sweetest kisses and the biggest saddest puppy dog eyes ever! Mable was found on a country road. Because she loves to be with a person I can't imagine she ran away. Mable was introduced to the rescue/sanctuary dogs (10 others) and overall did well. The old timers here are not the nicest all the time - that's why they were never adoptable. She did ok until they challenged her and she earned her place in the pack. Normally she lowers her head and walks away. she does best with large easy going males or tiny male dogs. She treats the 6lb male chi like her baby. Please see the video on my website. she loves all humans, unsure about cats and only a submissive, who cares type of other dog. Please consider giving her a wonderful home she deserves. I am honest as the day is long about what I know about her. I love this girl and she needs a chance at happiness. Please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. HEIDI is the "fun" puppy...always curious. DOB 9/1/2022...Boxer mix?...female and should be about 45 She and her sister, Hannah, came to me from Houston...very lucky pups to be picked up by a good Samaritan that was willing to go looking for someone to take them into their rescue. They went to the time, trouble, and expense to bring them to me...a 400-mile round trip. HEIDI is happy and loves being with the rest of the dogs in the "Big Dog Pen." She gets along with all the other dogs. She is sweet and gentle and very playful. . She should be good with a family with children that like to run and play and then take a nap together. She has not been in the house, so she will need to be house trained but at this age, it should happen quickly. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
Happy and fun loving Drako is 3 years old and weighs 95 pounds. He is a big guy who loves people and other dogs. Drako would love to go on long walks, hikes and maybe even runs with his new family. He also likes to play ball and go for car rides. He is a favorite at the daycare he attends. The only thing that Drako does not like is being alone for long periods of time. He would do best in an active all adult household or in an active family with respectful children ages 10 years old and older. A nice dog companion to live with would be a plus. (An adoption fee of $400 is required.) If you are interested in this dog, please go to the Adopt page of our website where you will find a link to an adoption application form https://www.chewdogrescue.org/index.php/component/rsform/form/5-adoption-application-formt. f you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.

Story
Bella is a 6 year old (7 in July) boxer German Shepard mix. She goes by Bella, but will respond to beewa, pretty girl or anything said sweetly❤️. She loves all humans, big and small, and likes to greet people with kisses and even a hug, if you’re lucky. She loves walks or runs on a quiet trail, sniffing around for squirrels and bunnies, and playing fetch. She is up to date on all vaccines and is spayed. Bella has an old injury to her back that only flares up if she playing or swimming too much. She shouldn’t jump off high ledges or in and out of cars, this doesn’t stop her though. Bella is an alpha female and gets along best with male dogs, but hasn’t quite figured out how to handle disagreements. She lives with another dog we rescued as a puppy and does well with her. I think she could do fine with a submissive dog in the house. We would love to see Bella go to a loving family or individual who will love her as much as she will love you ❤️

Story
I've had Loki since he was 1years old, My mother and her husbands dog had puppies and he was one of those puppies. He is about 7 years old, born in early 2016. Overall, he's a wonderful dog that loves to be cuddled and will sit with you for hours. Likes fetch and tug of war, but not with bulky things (IE big knotted ropes). Loves going on walks and hiking and is very obedient. Leash trained, house trained, potty trained, and crate trained. Does well with other dogs, but takes a couple weeks to really warm up to them in a living space. The only reason I am CONSIDERING rehoming him is I am traveling around right now, and he is not doing well with it. He has separation anxiety (anxiety in general) and needs a more stable home / another dog would be ideal. Its not fair for me to leave him in a crate in an airbnb where he just panicks. I am looking for a good home, with a yard and possibly another dog to play with. (preferably 2+, I think puppies are to much energy for him)

Duke is a sweet, soulful boxer mix that sits on the smaller side at about 60 pounds. What he lacks in stature he makes up for in playfulness. When Duke is on the job, no toy is safe. He prefers to live in a home with no kids but does well with other dogs and some cats. Story
Whiskey and colt are a bonded pair. We’ve had whiskey since he was a puppy and adopted colt a year later. Whiskey turned 3 in January and colts exact age is unknown but the vet believes he’s also 3. We adopted colt from a local kennel. When we adopted him we thought he was still a puppy because he was several malnourished. He is always happy and just wants to be involved with whatever you’re doing. His tail does not stop wagging! He copies everything whiskey does and follows him like a shadow. Whiskey has the personality of an old man. He would much rather lay in your lap and cuddle all day. However he also likes to play. Whiskey barks at anything and is very protective of the house/ yard. He loves to bird/ squirrel watch and will chase them any chance he gets. They are both kennel trained and know basic commands. We are rehoming them because we just brought home our 2nd child and can no longer provide the right life style/ attention they deserve. My PPD / PPR is the main reason.

Story
Whiskey and colt are a bonded pair. Colt loves to play outside and chew on sticks. They both have a jolly ball but colt is more interested in following whiskey around while whiskey herds and plays with the ball. Colt will try to destroy any toy within the first 5 minutes and will eat the part. Whiskey likes to play fetch. Whiskey has 1 blue eye and 1 brown. Both colts eyes are brown. Colt is an escape artist. Whiskey will follow him no matter what. They don’t run once they get out though they usually stay within a 5 minute walk. Sometimes they come back in their own. Whiskey doesn’t like going potty in the rain. Colt loves being outside. He will be outside all day if you let him. Whiskey would rather nap.

Story
Dexter is being boarded at Northwind Pet Care Center in Olympia Washington since the beginning of November while trying to find a new home. He has had recent bloodwork and ultrasound and everything looked good. He is a 10 year old neutered male pit mix. He has arthritis and is on arthritis medications as well as separation anxiety. In a kennel environment he takes Trazadone twice daily. He would probably need to continue some kind of anxiety medication even in a home environment. He is very sweet and loves attention. He doesn't do well with other dogs as he has jealousy issues. He desperately needs a loving home environment to live out the rest of his days.
