Story
As much as this post breaks my heart we are looking for a new home for Sweet Girl. We adopted her in 2018 and expected to have her for her entire doggy life. She has since gotten aggressive with her dog brothers. She use to love other dogs and going to the dog park although with her old age she has gotten cranky. She absolutely enjoys being around people. She’s the loviest girl ever when it comes to people. I’ve never been someone to re-home a dog. She’s my responsibility and we love her so much. The issue is we have young children and I’m terrified one day she is going to be aggressive towards our other dogs and one of the kids will get in the way. She’s an old lady who needs a retirement home. She’s good on a leash and crate trained. The almost 6 years we’ve had her she has had maybe 2 accidents inside. She’s not a pup who needs to get out her energy. A bed to hang out on and someone to give her belly scratches is all she really needs.

Story
Great semi energetic snuggly little boy!! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or  https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other Rubble is a 6 mos old  (DOB 8 Feb 2023) 35 lb Boxer/Retriever mix.  He will be a medium to large dog as an adult.  Rubble, his mom and littermates were found running down access road of a highway when they were 5 weeks old.  Everyone in litter and mom died of Distemper (due to owner not giving them shots).  Rubble is the sole survivor.  He will be special needs throughout his life.  He is a very special puppy that has tons of love to give and loves all humans, children, playing with other polite /low energy dogs, playing with toys and visiting with volunteers/staff getting chicken /treats. Did we say he LOVES his humans?  When he plays and does his walk abouts you do not see any affects of distemper.  He is crate trained, walks on a leash and loves car rides.  He will benefit from some continued obediance training and public socialization with new environmental objects.  He will play, then will hang out on the couch or your lap.  He requires an owned home with a securely fenced yard in a colder climate as the hot TX temperature is not conducive to his health.   He is looking for a special needs mixed breed dog experienced family.  He will do best with another dog companion and someone that works from home or caregiver (female) is home.    No apartments.   Courtesay post for the Helotes Humane Society. Story
Meet Ms Mable the ultimate side kick. Beside you is where she wants to be. Take a step, she'll take a step. Walk anywhere and when you stop she sits down right beside you. Go for a car ride - she's all for it. She loves her chairs and will share yours or sit in her own. She gives the sweetest kisses and the biggest saddest puppy dog eyes ever! Mable was found on a country road. Because she loves to be with a person I can't imagine she ran away. Mable was introduced to the rescue/sanctuary dogs (10 others) and overall did well. The old timers here are not the nicest all the time - that's why they were never adoptable. She did ok until the alpha female challenged her. Everyone was ok just no females to keep it safe. Normally she lowers her head and walks away. She does best with large easy going males or tiny male dogs. She treats the 6lb male chi like her baby. She loves all humans, unsure about cats. Please consider giving her a wonderful home she deserves. I am honest as the day is long about what I know about her. I love this girl and she needs a chance at happiness. Please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
This is a courtesy listing for Forever Home Dog Rescue in Edmonds, WA. https://airtable.com/shrFUvnGftwDTCArX To adopt please apply Watch the u tube. LOL https://youtu.be/HMRUNcczvfI She acts like a lab she LOVES the water! She absolutely has adored every human and acts like she has known you her entire lifetime. We really think other than her wanting to run after rabbits (lol what dog doesn't?) she can be trained to be off leash, as she wants to be right by you. 4/20/21 is her estimated BD ANNIE is a very sweet Pitbull. Super happy loves all humans as if she always knew you. Very very happy dog. She is smart and learns quickly. DOB 4/20/21 is an estimate. . She is about 2 years old and has probably had a couple litters of puppies but she is happy and lovable and strong. The person that originally found her kept her for a couple weeks and was teaching her some of the basic commands and she said she learned quickly. She needs exercise and a strong on the leash she doesn't pull but doesn't seem to yet realize you are on the other end of the leash and sometimes is so happy she wants to do a little zoomie in her exuberance! After she gets her energy out she is so calm loving and affectionate and does good t with other dogs she has met. She will want to sit on your lap LOL if you sit on the floor she just loves people and wants roll in the grass and just be a happy dog. We have had her in a large dog pen with seven other dogs and she gets along great. She currently weighs 50 something lb but is not very tall. She has very dense and strong muscles. Everybody is her friend. She might not be the right match with an alpha female dog. That we aren't sure of. Our guess is we wouldn't trust her with cats. Yes she is spayed, current on all shots, microchipped, etc
