Story
~DOB: 5/1/2021 Weight: 55 pounds Energy level: moderate Overall drive: low Location: Santa Clarita, California Meet Louie, happy boy with the perfect balance of silly charm and easygoing companionship. Louie has all the lovable Boxer personality you’d expect: goofy, affectionate, and full of heart; without the over-the-top energy. He’s playful and fun, but overall a pretty calm, chill guy who simply enjoys being around his people.   If Louie were human, he’d absolutely be the class clown - the one making everyone laugh while still being the friend you can count on. He’s a happy dog who loves attention, leans in for affection, and is known to give the sweetest hugs (especially to his foster dad, who he absolutely adores). Butt scratches are also very high on his list of favorite things. Louie is social and enjoys meeting people. He’s well-mannered in public, does great on walks, and has even impressed everyone during trips to the pet store where he happily sniffs all the toys. He knows commands like sit and leave it, rides well in the car once he settles in, and was a total gentleman at the vets’ office where the staff loved him. But the best part of Louie’s story might be his special friendships he forms with other dogs that come through his foster home. He seems to take comfort and give comfort in their presence and would absolutely love to have some canine friends in his new life. Louie may do best in a home without small animals or with someone able to manage, correct, and redirect some hard focus behaviors. He'd mostly love a family that appreciates a loyal, affectionate dog with a playful streak. He’s crate trained, not destructive, and thrives on love, praise, and a good meal. Louie is truly an outstanding dog who deserves a home of his own, and if that home could include a dog friend or even some dogs that he can have playdates, he'd be the happiest pup in the world!

Story
Chani is with our Partner Rescue and will come to WA per next transport if she finds a foster and forever home Foster or Adopt Chani 💜🐾 Meet Chani, a sweet and playful 2-year-old Boxer mix who is ready to find her forever home! She’s been patiently waiting for her dream to come true—and that dream is a loving family to call her own. Chani is wonderful with people and absolutely loves spending time with her favorite humans. Whether it’s going on walks, playing, or just relaxing, she’s happiest by your side. She’s also a big fan of cozy couch time and would gladly join you for movie marathons any day of the week! She does well with most other dogs but can be a bit selective, so slow and thoughtful introductions are important. Separate feeding areas are recommended to help her feel comfortable and secure. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will bring joy, cuddles, and fun into your life, Chani could be the perfect match for you. Help make Chani’s dream come true—foster or adopt 💜🐾

Story
Lola was rescued from LA County in April and I had her transported to WA. I was hoping my older male dog would take to her as a companion but that’s just not the case. My male dog isn’t very nice to her and I’m afraid it will get worse the longer she’s here. She’s super sweet, good with my kids, calm, likes to lounge around. Loves a good walk and snacks. Does not like water at all. Listens well and really doesn’t have any special needs. She understands commands and listens. I don’t know much about her previous life prior to adopting her.

Story
Ziggy is an older distiguished gentledog. He loves to be a couch potato. He does love going for a walk. He is always happy to see people and give them his paw. He follows commands and is crate trained. His nickname is "Tiger" because of his coat. He is very loving to people and selective to other dogs. Proper introduction is always a must. He wouldn't be ideal with a house that has small children. He is always eager to please. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He would love to travel anywhere in the US or Canada. ##1545628##

Story
Lubbock, TX ~DOB: 7/1/2024 | 33 lbs Energy Level: Moderate | Drive: Moderate Meet Rosco, the loveable goofball who’s equal parts cuddle buddy and adventure sidekick! At just a few months old, this handsome pup has already mastered the fine balance between playtime and snuggle time. Whether he’s sitting on the couch like a tiny human or stretching out for belly rubs, Rosco brings pure joy to every moment. Rosco’s the kind of dog who thinks “construction worker” would be his dream job. He’s strong, adaptable, and always eager to learn. He loves being included in whatever you’re doing, whether it’s a walk around the block, a car ride to the park, or just lounging after a long day. He’s affectionate, funny, and oh-so-sweet - if he could, he’d probably spend all day cuddled up in your lap (yes, he believes he still fits there!). Rosco gets along great with his small dog friends at home and does well meeting people out and about, though he can be a little protective when someone knocks on the door, it’s his way of showing he’s got your back. He’s fully house-trained, respectful indoors, and learning leash manners like a champ. A few words of praise or a tasty treat go a long way with this eager student! He’s happiest in a home that’s active and loving. Somewhere he can stretch his legs, enjoy the great outdoors, and come home to all the cuddles his heart desires. Rosco is ready to build a lifetime of memories with his forever family. Could that be you?

Story
~DOB: 7/1/24 Weight: 39 lbs Energy Level: Low–Moderate Drive: Low Location: Lubbock, TX Meet Sweetie, and yes, her name says it all. This gentle girl has a heart as soft as her fur and eyes that just melt you. She’s shy at first, taking her time to size up new people and places, but once you earn her trust, you’ll find the most loving, loyal, nose-kissing companion imaginable. Sweetie is curious but cautious. Tthe kind of pup who watches the world carefully before jumping in. She enjoys quiet affection, a good snuggle, and gentle walks where she can explore without pressure. Once she’s comfortable, she’ll show her playful side: a little ball chasing here, a bone-chewing session there (though don’t expect her to bring the ball back just yet as she’s still working on that part). In the house, Sweetie is a dream. She’s fully house-trained, doesn’t counter surf, and won’t raid your trash. She’s happy to lounge around and soak up calm energy. Loud noises might earn a bark, but that’s just her way of keeping tabs on things. She rides well in the car, does fine at the vet with a little coaxing, and enjoys quiet walks. Sweetie does well with small dogs when introduced slowly and could thrive with a kind, patient canine sibling. A calm, peaceful home; one that understands she needs time to blossom will bring out her best. Kids or busy environments might be too much for her right now, but with love and reassurance, she’ll continue growing in confidence. If you’re looking for a tender-hearted girl who just wants to be loved, Sweetie is ready to steal your heart - one shy tail wag at a time.

Story
~DOB: 10/1/2022 Weight: 65 lbs Energy level: Moderate Overall drive: Low to Moderate Location: Morgan Hill, CA Why Choose This Dog? SQUIRREL! …oh, sorry, Doug got excited again. If you’ve seen Up, then you already know exactly who Doug is. This 65-pound bundle of joy is basically that lovable, slightly chaotic golden-hearted goof brought to life. Fresh off his surgery recovery, Doug has decided that every day is the best day ever and he would very much like to spend all of them in your lap (yes, all 65 pounds of him). Doug is a professional greeter, part-time comedian, and full-time cuddle enthusiast. He approaches life at full speed with a wagging tail, a big grin, and the energy of “Hi! I’m Doug! I love you already!” His adorably crossed eyes add to the charm and while you may not know where he’s looking, but you will know he’s looking for love, snacks, or both. He’s incredibly social with people and wants to be everyone’s best friend. With dogs, he’s still learning manners and his enthusiasm sometimes outpaces his skills, but it all comes from a place of pure joy. He’s house trained, crate trained, and sleeps through the night like a champ (unless he needs to politely request a blanket adjustment or fan service). Doug’s love language is cuddles, belly rubs, and gentle “cobbing” (which he’s working on replacing with toys. He has achieved progress, not perfection!). He’s food motivated, eager to learn, and would thrive with someone who can give him structure while appreciating his goofy, oversized-puppy personality. If you’ve got a lap, a sense of humor, and room for a little lovable chaos, Doug is ready to make your life infinitely brighter.
