Story
Petey pretty much trained himself for fetch, house training, crate training, and sit. He understands basic commands, usually very easy. He is great on a leash until he sees a bunny, person, dog, etc. He is very reactive with jumping and barking, calm the rest of the day, fun and playful when anyone can play with him. He seems to be more reactive as he gets older and we haven’t been able to give him the kind of training he needs. He is not food motivated, picky eater but will eat if he’s hungry. He has allergies and takes Apoquel, no other health issues. And no behavior issues other than reactivity which makes walks difficult for anyone not strong enough to hold him as he jumps on and barks at anyone who comes to the door until he gets to know them, then calms right down. He will go happily with anyone he meets, shows no signs of separation anxiety or any anxiety aside from the intense reactivity. He sleeps great at night, and mostly lays at our feet during the day.

Story
Lola was rescued from LA County in April and I had her transported to WA. I was hoping my older male dog would take to her as a companion but that’s just not the case. My male dog isn’t very nice to her and I’m afraid it will get worse the longer she’s here. She’s super sweet, good with my kids, calm, likes to lounge around. Loves a good walk and snacks. Does not like water at all. Listens well and really doesn’t have any special needs. She understands commands and listens. I don’t know much about her previous life prior to adopting her.
