Story
Peppermint Patty is a 2 year old mixed breed who couldn’t possibly be sweeter. She came to Wisconsin in December filled to the brim with puppies & gave birth to eight perfect Peanuts in her foster home in January. After some much-needed relaxation & rest from being the best mama, she is ready to find her family! She’s about 40lb, is crate trained, & is doing very well with potty training when kept on a schedule. Peppermint is very food-motivated & eager to please, so continued training should be a breeze. She gets along great with other dogs & kids. Cats are unknown, but it’s assumed she’ll do just fine.Get your application in to learn more about her!DATCP#483538

Adoption Fee: $550.00We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. May 24, 2024, 11:09 pm

LOOK AT THIS PUPPY!!!!! SERIOUSLY😳 true most dreamy eyes on this planet. And do they get any more beautiful than this ????!!!!!! You're probably still mesmerized by those eyes, and we wouldn't blame you!Precious! The only way to describe this little girl. You can imagine as a very young puppy there's not a lot of history to share. We can tell you that he was born in our care, along with her siblings, and that her mom is a stunning black lab. We have named her Raven and she's very sweet. They have been separated from mom and are ready to find their new forever families. They are currently being fostered by Michele in Memphis, Tn. She has a has full of activity, comings and goings so the puppies are super well socialized and used to just about anything. Once an application has been submitted and approved, she would be happy to speak with you about him. Once adopted, she will travel via Rescue Vet Transport to his new forever family. They travel each weekend, leaving Memphis, Tennessee, Friday mornings around 6 AM and traveling as far north as west Greenwich, Rhode Island, making steps along the way delivering newly adopted pets. Transport is an additional $185. Once they get on the road, they start a group chat with the two drivers and everyone who has A Pet on board. If you would like to make this adorable ball of cuteness part of your family. Please follow the link below to our adoption application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

LOKI !!!. Wow HOW could you get any cuter? This guy has the biggest personality to be so small. He is just adored in the foster home he is currently in right now. He has no issue with his fosters adult dogs and tries to imitate and learn from them. He really wants to be a big dog, big enough to hop up in the car and take car rides with foster mom. Loki seems to be a quick learner and very reactive to correction. This guy is everything puppy. He loves to eat, sleep and play and then rewind and do it all over again. You won’t go wrong with this adorable fella. He is going to be a wonderful forever friend. Once adopted he will travel via RescueVet private transport (transport cost is $185.00) to a location closest to you. If you would like to make sweet Loki part of your family and home please follow the link below to our application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
4-year-old Clyde is described as truly amazing by his foster mom. Despite his past, he is thriving and enjoying life to the fullest. His simple desires include a bowl of food, water, a comfortable bed, and belly rubs. He's been trained to wait patiently for his meals and to go outside only when given the signal. Although he still struggles with excitement-induced jumping, he's making progress. Notably, he recently greeted his foster dad by sitting instead of jumping, albeit wiggling with excitement. Clyde's gentle nature shines through when interacting with children, instinctively understanding the need to be delicate around them. He even follows commands from a two-year-old, earning treats and laughter in return. Remarkably, he shows no interest in chasing animals while indoors and is learning to respond to recall commands outdoors without pulling on his lead. However, his immense strength warrants caution around those who may not be able to handle it. In various situations, Clyde displays impeccable behavior, from resisting the temptation of food left unattended to interacting peacefully with other dogs. He's particularly fond of playing with his owner's son's dog and even took a nap on her bed. Despite never being confined to the crate provided, Clyde stays contentedly behind a baby gate when left alone. He shows no interest in the items in the spare room, demonstrating his exceptional demeanor. Overall, Clyde's foster mom struggles to fully articulate just how remarkable he truly is, emphasizing his love for life and those who love him in return.

Story
Meet Apollo, a 2-year-old Pitbull Terrier Mix with a story shrouded in mystery. Rescued from Madacc, her past remains a puzzle, but her vibrant personality shines through. Apollo is a ball of energy, always eager for adventure and exploration. She'll gladly join you for long walks or a game of fetch in the yard, bringing boundless enthusiasm to everything she does. And when it's time to wind down, there's nothing she loves more than snuggling up close for some quality cuddle time. But Apollo isn't without her quirks. She can be reactive around other dogs and cats, a trait that will require patience and training to overcome. She's a smart cookie though, and with the right guidance, she's sure to make progress. She's is looking for a special someone who can match her energy levels and provide the time and attention she craves. A fenced yard would be a bonus, giving her space to roam and explore safely.
