Story
Fiona is just over a year old and is a boxer mix. She was adopted in September 2025 from Milwaukee Area Animal Domestic Control. Fiona has a partial rectal prolapse: it resolves on its own and does not require emergency care, but does require close supervision and a strict diet. Prolapse only occurs if diet isn’t followed or eats something she shouldn’t. She does best with boiled chicken, white rice, and carrots or green beans, fed three times daily with added water or homemade chicken broth, daily supplements and occasionally pureed pumpkin. She cannot eat other foods or certain bones. Any home with other animals must keep all pet food secured and use a covered litter box for cats. Fiona will do best with children over 10. Fiona will come with supplies, and more detailed information about her care and routine will be provided to serious adoption candidates. We are looking for a home that understands her needs and is willing to continue her current care regime & love her like we do.

Hi everyone! My name is Tucker and I’m a brindle beauty. I’m looking for my furever family, so if you’re looking for an active family dog, keep reading! I’m almost a year old and my energy level shows it! Do you like to go hikes and swim in lakes?? Or even daily walks and an intense game of fetch—I’m your boy! As long as there’s toys, I’m happy. If there’s water—I’m even happier! Take a look at my DNA results too, no wonder I’m so cute! I’m good with other dogs, they’re fun to play with…I haven’t met any cats, but that can be arranged. Kids are great too—just remember I’m #60 of energy and I might accidentally knock the littles ones down. Otherwise I’m ready to go to my new home, I’m neutered, fully vaccinated, potty trained and kennel trained. All I’m waiting for is a family and a couch to cuddle up on!! Apply for me today!! Adoption fee:$250 https://www.cognitoforms.com/TinyPawsSmallDogRescue1/AdoptionApplication

Story
Hey… I’m Spud! My brothers and I started life together — left at a vet clinic when we were only a few hours old. We were tiny, confused, and needed help fast. Thankfully, we found people who showed us love right away. I’m a Boxer mix, and while I’m small, I’ve got a big, steady heart. I’m doing great now — eating well, growing stronger every day, and learning how this whole “puppy life” thing works.I’m pretty proud that I already use my potty pads, and when I’m not doing that, you’ll probably find me hanging out with a soft toy or watching what everyone else is doing. I like my world calm and kind: I enjoy other dogs, Cats are okay with me, and Gentle kids are my favorite. I’ve been loved since the very beginning, and it shows. I’m sweet, thoughtful, and ready for a family who will keep showing me what love looks like. If you’re looking for a puppy who’s easy to love and hard to forget… I’m right here.   All of our animals reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their perfect match. If you are interested in meeting this animal, please complete an adoption application on our website: https://www.BestPawsRescue.com   Spay/Neuter PolicyAny animal that has not been spayed or neutered at the time of adoption will require a signed Spay/Neuter Agreement and a refundable $100 deposit (payable by check or electronic payment). The procedure must be completed within six (6) months of the adoption date. Once Best Paws Rescue receives acceptable proof of the spay/neuter procedure, the deposit will be refunded to the adopter.Failure to comply with the terms of the Spay/Neuter Agreement within the required six (6) months will result in forfeiture of the deposit. If the procedure is performed by one of Best Paws Rescue’s approved veterinary partners, the full cost of the spay/neuter is covered by the adoption fee. Ages and breeds are our best estimates, and we cannot make any guarantees. Most of our animals come from overcrowded shelters with limited resources. We do our best to evaluate each animal’s behavior and medical needs and place them into loving foster homes until they are ready to go home with you. Our organization is operated entirely by dedicated volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts. ##2617396##

Story
Hi… I’m Baby Red! I came into this world in a way I didn’t expect — my three brothers and I were left at a vet clinic when we were only a few hours old. We were tiny, scared, and didn’t know what would happen next. But kind humans stepped in… and now I’m safe. I may be the smallest of the bunch, but I’m strong and growing every day. I’m eating really well, I already know how to use my potty pads, and I’ve discovered that soft toys are the BEST thing ever. I’m a Boxer mix, and I have a gentle, curious heart. I like: other dogs, cats, and kind, gentle kids I’ve been loved since my very first days, so I’m learning that the world can be a good place. All I’m missing now is my forever person — someone who will keep me safe, teach me new things, and love me for the rest of my life. If you think that might be you… I’m ready.    All of our animals reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their perfect match. Story
***** Fostered in New Berlin, Wi ***** Ruthie is an adorable 4 month old, female, mixed breed puppy. She has a beautiful tan coat coat and the prettiest eyes. We expect her to be a medium-sized adult. She enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. She is potty trained at her foster home, however her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at her new home in WI as she is just a young puppy. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and health certificate from a veterinary examination which certifies her to be in good condition. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. Story
Hi, I’m Russet! My brothers and I were abandoned together at a vet clinic when we were only a few hours old. We were tiny and didn’t understand what was happening… but kind people stepped in and gave us a chance. I’m the lightest in color of the litter, with the cutest little Mickey Mouse–shaped marking on my nose (people smile every time they see it). I might be small, but I’m doing really well — eating great, growing stronger, and learning new things every day. I already use my potty pads like a pro, I love soft toys, and I really enjoy being around: other dogs, cats, and gentle kids. I’m a Boxer mix, and I’ve been surrounded by love since my first days, so I’m learning that humans are pretty wonderful. I’m curious, sweet, and ready for a family of my very own. If you’re looking for a puppy with a gentle heart, a special story, and a nose marking you’ll never forget… I might be your guy.   All of our animals reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their perfect match. Story
This is Yuki-chan (Japanese for snow), she's such a sweet dog. Listens, knows, commands, gets along with older kids, other dogs, and is house trained. Yuki is 3.5 years old, current on shots, is microchipped and spayed. I hate to rehome this baby. But with how much I work it's not fair to Yuki. We had had no issues with her what so ever. Except for she is afraid of babies. Nothing has ever happened she just gets scared of loud noises and barks. I';ve worked really hard on trying to make her the greatest dog, and I'm sad she has to go to another forever home, but whoever meets her will love her. She just deserves better. I'm not concerned about a rehoming fee, her going to a nice family is payment enough. She has food and water bowls, a bed and blanket, food for probably about a month still, Toys and grooming items, and 2 doggy gates.
