Story
Delilah May is an adorable, six month old, Boxer puppy mix. She is about 40 lbs and all legs! She has big Boxer energy and loves to play fetch, go on walks, and is a great running partner (She's been clocked at an 8 minute mile!). She is a quick learner and will thrive in a home dedicated to helping her continue her training with positive reinforcement and plenty of exercise. She would love a larger doggie sibling or weekly daycare/play dates to keep her from getting bored. Delilah is very much a puppy and could accidentally knock over young children and smaller dogs with her playfulness. Children over 10 years old preferred. Delilah is house trained and crate trained. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. If you would like to meet this adorable bundle of joy and make her part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/ Delilah is located in Huntsville, AL. With transport available to your area. Friends of Rescue requires a virtual home visit and vet reference prior to all adoptions. All Friends of Rescue animals are indoor family members.

Story
Hi everyone! My name is Tucker and I’m a brindle beauty. I’m looking for my furever family, so if you’re looking for an active family dog, keep reading! I’m almost a year old and my energy level shows it! Do you like to go hikes and swim in lakes?? Or even daily walks and an intense game of fetch—I’m your boy! As long as there’s toys, I’m happy. If there’s water—I’m even happier! Take a look at my DNA results too, no wonder I’m so cute! I’m good with other dogs, they’re fun to play with…I haven’t met any cats, but that can be arranged. Kids are great too—just remember I’m #60 of energy and I might accidentally knock the littles ones down. Otherwise I’m ready to go to my new home, I’m neutered, fully vaccinated, potty trained and kennel trained. All I’m waiting for is a family and a couch to cuddle up on!! Apply for me today!! Adoption fee:$250 https://www.cognitoforms.com/TinyPawsSmallDogRescue1/AdoptionApplication

Story
Peppermint Patty is a 2 year old mixed breed who couldn’t possibly be sweeter. She came to Wisconsin in December filled to the brim with puppies & gave birth to eight perfect Peanuts in her foster home in January. After some much-needed relaxation & rest from being the best mama, she is ready to find her family! She’s about 40lb, is crate trained, & is doing very well with potty training when kept on a schedule. Peppermint is very food-motivated & eager to please, so continued training should be a breeze. She gets along great with other dogs & kids. Cats are unknown, but it’s assumed she’ll do just fine.Get your application in to learn more about her!DATCP#483538

Story
Bear is a very handsome, young boy looking for a forever home of his own. We believe he is a Boxer mix, sporting a very attractive dark brindle coat. We estimate Bear’s date of birth at February 10, 2021. At the time of this posting he is just under two years old. He is about 60 lbs. Bear loves people and he also loves eating almost anything. He is not so much a chewer, as a dog who likes to eat rocks, sticks, toys. As such, his new family will need to be vigilant to ensure Bear does not get himself into trouble, ingesting non-food items! Bear is active and energetic, typical of a big, young dog, and sometimes can get carried away with his play. He loves running in the secure, fenced yard of his foster home. He keeps himself entertained (but, watch out for him eating rocks, sticks, etc!!); he would not do well in a dog park or day care. We suggest he be an only dog. Given his size and energy level, Bear would not be an ideal canine companion for younger children. We expect children over the age of 12 would be ok. And of course, an all-adult home would be perfect for Bear! An ideal home for Bear is one in which he can thrive as an only dog, with a family experienced with larger dogs who sometimes can get out of hand. The family will also need to be vigilant when it comes to Bear’s tendency to seek out interesting things to eat. As is the case with all young, larger dogs, Bear would greatly benefit from obedience training which can also be a bonding experience with his new family. No doubt, Bear has the potential to evolve into the perfect pup, but is looking for that family willing to commit to him and provide him the forever home he deserves. Bear is fully vetted, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered & microchipped and on year-round heartworm prevention. To learn how you can add this handsome young boy to your family, please contact BAARKDogRescue@gmail.com or 847-852-0895. BAARK is located in the Chicago area and adopt our dogs only local to the area.

Story
Luke is at our shelter. Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet him during open hours! Scroll through his pictures to see his cute video content! You may remember seeing Luke on our website before, as he was with us from October to February! He was adopted into a loving home, but recently returned due to his adopter's circumstances suddenly changing. We are sad that Luke is back at the shelter, but must admit that we do love having this little boy around. We make sure his days are fun-filled-- just look at all his playgroup videos! Luke is Mr. Popular. His nickname here is Luke Licky and that is because he has this habit of greeting all his dog friends with a free teeth cleaning courtesy of his tongue! He loves to lick his friends' mouths and snoots! Luke has had many roommates since he has been in our care. Currently, he is rooming with Xiomara. He loves having the companionship of a dog friend in his kennel and in life. Luke is a special and wonderful soul who has been looking for his permanent home for far too long. We hope his people will hurry up and find him, because he so deserves a place to call home. Since Luke has spent time in a foster home before being adopted, and then spent two months in an adoptive home, we do know a lot about him! Luke: - crate trained - housebroken - A bit scared of kids, he will bark at them - takes food & treats SO GENTLY it's unreal - loves to curl up in bed with you - seriously so chill. Found his spot when we got home and has been so content there - loves to chew! - listens if he's told "no - great in the car - clearly loves other dogs even if they don't love him back - Boxer puppy eyes I mean COME ON - honestly just so polite and SWEET Luke's adoption fee is $250. This animal is neutered, is up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
