Tybee Is the Last Puppy from the Beach Town Litter Still Looking for His Forever Home
Tybee is the last puppy from the Beach Town Litter still waiting to find his forever family. After making the journey from Georgia to Wisconsin with Mutt Life Dog Rescue, all of his littermates have found forever homes, leaving Tybee as the final puppy hoping for his happy ending.
Tybee was part of an unwanted litter surrendered to rescue in Georgia. While his exact breed mix is unknown, he is believed to be a Boxer/Shepherd mix.
Now growing into a happy, playful puppy, Tybee is curious, affectionate, and full of personality. His foster family has been helping him experience the world around him while building confidence and learning the foundations of being a wonderful family companion.
Like any young puppy, Tybee is continuing to work on house training, crate training, leash walking, and basic manners. He is eager to learn and thrives with positive reinforcement, consistency, and plenty of love.
From Tybee's foster:
"He gives kisses like NO other! He is so cuddly! And has been improving immensely on leash walking.
He only needs a bit of fine tweaking on his potty training. Foster says he will indicate that he needs to go out. He is super sweet - actually quite the people pup."
Tybee has had the advantage of growing up in a loving foster home, where he's been able to build confidence, learn good habits, and receive lots of individual attention. Now he's ready for the next step—finding a forever family to continue his journey. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate puppy who loves to snuggle and is making great progress every day, Tybee may be the perfect addition to your home.

1.) Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.
2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.
3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit.
4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.
5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.
6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse $125 for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. We recommend going to HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI for the most affordable option. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, that works too!
