Story
Zeus is a 9 year old Bull Terrier. He's a super sweet guy, a big cuddler, and loves to spend time outside in the sun or on the couch with his people. He spent the first 5 years of his life with an open yard, and as a single dog in the family. As such, he was not socialized or even neutered until he was about 6. Zeus has made incredible strides in reactivity when other dogs are nearby, but he has a history of escalating situations with other dogs and being aggressive and intolerant. Zeus would fit very well with a home where he would be the only pet. The reason he needs to be rehomed is because he has found his way into my care, alongside my cat and another bull terrier puppy. The puppy is energetic and pushes the old man's limits. My partner and I have tried everything we can to curb the triggers for Zeus, but fights have started to break out more consistently even after 6 months of solid effort, and we are worried about the safety of the two dogs together if the situation continues.

What my friends at Seattle Humane say about me:· In search of my very own emotional support human.· I find it scary to be home alone throughout the day, so a family that could keep me company would be the best for me at this time.· I am an energetic boy despite my age and would love a family that can keep up with me!Did you know that Seattle Humane has Puppy and Dog training classes? Story
Bobby is our Staff Pick! Animal Care and Adoption Specialist Peter says, "Bobby is a sweet, special boy! He likes to get out and about, is great on his walks, and loves agility! I like to visit him when he's getting some play time, and he'll run right up to me, lean into me and give me face kisses with that long nose of his. Sometimes he's anxious about the world, but it's a very rewarding experience to help comfort him and make him feel better, because he always appreciates you for it. It can take some time to earn that trust from him, but once you do, he's full of love and very attached to his people. It always feels like he wants to see me and doesn't want me to leave."Bobby is ready to find his best friend! This handsome 7-year-old is eager to charm you, woo you, and be your shadow through it all. Bobby can be a sensitive guy and is looking for a dog-experienced, adult only home that can give him all the mental enrichment, exercise, and socialization he needs. And a home that can give him all the time he needs to settle into his new environment. Once he's comfortable he loves to play, go for walks, and enjoys eating treats. In fact, he's a little chubby because he loves treats so much! Bobby is looking to be the only pet in his new home and is looking for a house in a quiet area. If you're ready to welcome home this lovely lad, send in an adoption application today! Bobby's adoption fee is waived in thanks to our Pay it Forward program. *Bobby is currently in a foster home and not located in the shelter.#playful #nodogs #nocats #lovesfoodtreats

Story
Louis is 2 on April 13, 2024. Thought I was getting purebred Bull Terrier. He is a mix of Bull Terrier, Staffordshire, Australian Shepherd, and a couple others according to DNA. He could use a little more training but knows basic commands. Very sweet boy though - never been aggressive with anyone. Lots of puppy energy still. Kennel trained. Not big into car rides but also not a lot of practice. Louis got me through post divorce life but I am involved in more activities now so he doesn’t get as much attention as he should.
