Story
Buttons was originally a TNR project I found hanging with her raccoon family by the local dump. She was really young- maybe 4-5 months old- and incredibly skittish, but willing to trust- so I decided to spend about 2 months getting familiar with her. After a scuffle with a local older cat (and dysentery fears) I decided to capture her faster than anticipated, and with the help of Brozanski For Cats, got her into a feral trap for a vet exam the next day. A day after the vet, we discovered that she is Feline Leukemia positive- though clearly in decent health, and weve been looking for new homes since, as to not risk the resident cat. It's important to remember that feline leukemia, though scary, isn't a death sentence, and she'd do perfectly well as a single family cat, or with other FeLV positives! She is shy, as she's only been around people full time for a month, but she's been making steady progress with me, and is now a butt pat demander and a professional biscuit maker.

Story
Please contact Julianne (jnmarrie@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Meet Opal! After raising her babies and watching them all get adopted, while she was sadly overlooked, this sweet girl is looking for her happy ending. Opal LOVES to be pet and scratched, especially around her ears/head and just above her tail. She is a shy gal, but she is always gentle and she also LOVES other cats. Her foster mom introduced her to her resident cats and she immediately approached them for nuzzles and head butts. She is FIV+, but this is truly nothing to fear. She will live a full life and, aside from being aware that she has a weaker immune system, her diagnosis does not require special medical attention. FIV is most often transmitted through a deep puncture wound from an infected cat. Therefore, cats who test positive for FIV CAN live with FIV-negative cats with minimal risk of transmission as long as they do not fight to the point of biting. For more information, please visit https://www.alleycat.org/resources/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv/. Opal is a gentle girl who loves the company of other cats and kittens, so she will be a wonderful addition in a quiet home that can give her time to open up and feel safe with them. Her adoption fee is $50 - she is spayed, microchipped, negative for FeLV, and has all of her initial vaccines. To meet Opal, please email her foster mom at: jnmarrie@gmail.com.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 25, 2025, 1:34 pm

Story
Cat was from feral litter, gift for my brother from my nephews, brother died. At funeral we were asked to take, family agreed. Family is alive but no longer live here, and have said they cannot take her. She shreds furniture and people when frustrated and will not tolerate another animal here. She needs to be with in a home with no pets and an owner who will be home. The more bored she is the more destructive she becomes.

Cleo is a two-year-old female calico cat with short hair. She is very friendly loves to cuddle on the couch and on top of the bed loves to play love treats and comes when you call her. Even though she grew up with a small dog, she is territorial and gets along great with kids and adults, but not so great with other cats as she wants to dominate all the spaces.. We will include an automatic cat feeder toys, litter box and more. She is a healthy cat with everything up-to-date. She has no special needs.

Story
This boy was named Sweetheart and boy does he live up to his name! He is so sweet and talkative and funny. He came from a hoarding situation so he does have chronic herpes, but in a low stress home without multiple cats he will thrive and flare ups shouldn't happen too often. Sweetheart is a full orange cat meme and loves spring toys and his orange mouse toy. He will keep you entrained for hours. He loves sleeping curled up on my chest.   I do have a three month old orange kitten in foster with him as well, from the same house with chronic herpes also. They get along so well I'd love for them to get adopted together but it is not required.   If interested email handjkittenrescue@gmail.com ##2511568##

Story
Meet Ziggy! This handsome orange baby doesn't let only having one eye slow him down! He keeps up with everyone and is super playful. He loves to run around and play with the bigger kids. He for sure needs a home with another cat in it to keep him busy. He is about 3 months old and ready for his next adventure. I would love it if he was adopted with Sweetheart, they came from the same house and love to match each others orange energy!  If interested email handjkittenrescue@gmail.com ##2526851##
