Everyone please meet Olive! This sweet girl is around 3 years old and believed to be a Calico.Miss Olive started off a bit timid but has since opened up dramatically. Olive loves attention and will gladly hop up and spend her day on your lap. While Olive loves to play with toys and her scratching post, its clear that her favorite thing is ATTENTION! She is doing great with her litter box and we are working towards finding out how she does around other cats. You may apply to adopt Olive at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. Her adoption fee is $50. She is vaccinated, FIV and FELV tested negative, microchipped and spayed. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Luna needs special urinary food c/d hills prescription urinary care. Since she has bladder problems she would occasionally pee right outside the litter box. She also loves me and will let me pet her, lay on my lap, be cuddly etc but has strict boundaries about petting. She mostly likes her head/neck petted but if you get to crazy or go too hard petting on her back she doesn’t like it and will either threaten to or nip you to let you know it’s too much.I have a toddler and she is pretty patient with her but I just let my child know to give her space and she doesn’t bother her. My dogs are good with her but im not sure how she would be with cats or other dogs.

Born on May 7, 2023. Has 5 other siblings.* All are ready for adoption. Never been outside - flea free. Eating hard cat food. Weaned. Litterbox trained. I am NOT 100% certain of the sex of the kittens so make sure to double check before finalizing the adoption. "Are dilute calico cats rare? Yes, even female dilute calico cats are rare. As we saw above, only one in every 1,000 cats is born a standard calico and dilute calico cats are that much harder to come by. One of the reasons for this is that the dilution gene is what’s known as a recessive gene. That means that a more dominant gene can mask it and a kitten would need to inherit the dilution gene from both parents in order to be born a dilute calico. I adopted Everest as a kitten in 2021. She is very shy but extremely sweet. Once she trusts you, she loves belly rubs and will flop and meow to ask for them. Sometimes, she will lay right on your lap when you’re sitting on the couch. She enjoys dangly toys and batting small balls around. When she gets the zoomies, she will trill and run around the house. She has lived with other cats since her adoption, and does fine with them. I think she would prefer to be an only cat or be with other chill, gentle cats.
