Everyone please meet Olive! This sweet girl is around 3 years old and believed to be a Calico.Miss Olive started off a bit timid but has since opened up dramatically. Olive loves attention and will gladly hop up and spend her day on your lap. While Olive loves to play with toys and her scratching post, its clear that her favorite thing is ATTENTION! She is doing great with her litter box and we are working towards finding out how she does around other cats. You may apply to adopt Olive at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. Her adoption fee is usually $50. However, to celebrate Paw Patrol Dayton's 14th Anniversary... her adoption fee is half off during the month of April! She is vaccinated, FIV and FELV tested negative, microchipped and spayed. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Born on May 7, 2023. Has 5 other siblings.* All are ready for adoption. Never been outside - flea free. Eating hard cat food. Weaned. Litterbox trained. I am NOT 100% certain of the sex of the kittens so make sure to double check before finalizing the adoption. "Are dilute calico cats rare? Yes, even female dilute calico cats are rare. As we saw above, only one in every 1,000 cats is born a standard calico and dilute calico cats are that much harder to come by. One of the reasons for this is that the dilution gene is what’s known as a recessive gene. That means that a more dominant gene can mask it and a kitten would need to inherit the dilution gene from both parents in order to be born a dilute calico. I adopted Everest as a kitten in 2021. She is very shy but extremely sweet. She has never hissed at, swatted at, growled at, or bitten anyone. She prefers quiet, covered spaces (such as under the bed) and does not do well with loud noises or a lot of activity. She is easily overstimulated but remains gentle and affectionate. Once she trusts you, she loves belly rubs and will flop and meow to ask for them. Sometimes, she will lay right on your lap when you’re sitting on the couch. She enjoys dangly toys and batting small balls around. When she gets the zoomies, she will trill and run around the house. Although she has lived with other cats since her adoption, I believe she would do best as an only pet as other cats and dogs tend to stress her out.
