Literally. Fostering Mattie brings irony to the concept of foster home based rescue, considering the whole point is so that cats don't have to remain isolated, but solitude is truly Mattie's safe space: she has a single spare room all to herself, and will not come out of it. She’ll need a very special adopter; someone with a bounty of both time and patience to help unravel this fuzzy little ball of neuroticism. (And handling skills, as we would not consider her the easiest kitty to medicate, and the sensitive tummy makes for secretly medicated treats a challenge). Mattie lives with SIGNIFICANT anxiety that makes new environments and people overwhelming for her. Despite her persistent state of “I Am Afraid,” she is truly soft at heart. This is "Heidi". Tortoiseshell and calico coloring Friendly, affectionate, even-tempered, spayed, indoor cat who loves attention and sitting on laps. She may follow you around. When she is in the mood, she enthusiastically plays with toys and claws on a scratching post. She particularly enjoys toys that hang from a pole and string. Heidi does NOT like dogs. Age: 12 years. Born 12/14/2013. Weight: 8-9 lbs Rabies vaccination Claws: Heidi tends to sink the front claws in while sitting on your lap, so trim claws regularly. Heidi tolerates this but she squirms. She has learned not to scratch the furniture. Ears: Avoid rubbing or putting pressure near her ears because it causes her to scratch those areas. Sometimes she scratches them frequently anyway. The vet calls it an allergy. Heidi is missing the tip of her right ear. Hairballs: A weekly brushing and a hairball supplement chew added to each meal substantially reduces incidences of vomiting. Heidi enjoys being brushed.

Say hello to Clementine! Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking to rehome, no fault of her own! We adopted her from a family friend just over 2 years ago. She is the sweetest most loving cat when you get to know her. She isn’t fond of dogs and has been with another cat her whole life, not sure how she would do with new cats but I’m sure she would warm up. She is sassy, shy, sweet, very lovey, loves to run around and climb on her cat tree, and most definitely is a homebody. She LOVES to cuddle and enjoys pats on the butt and is a very vocal purring machine. We believe she would do best in an environment with a fellow homebody, no other big animals or children!

Beautiful 12 year old calico princess named Athena. She was rescued by my wife about 8 years ago before we got married in 2024. She had a litter of kittens and was spayed prior to her adoption. She's great with kids (5yr old and 9yr old) who play up dress up with her and pull her around in a wagon. She's often talkative/vocal when she needs anything. She's been slightly timid since the beginning, but warms up quickly. Completely house trained and eats standard adult dry food, while leaving some on the floor lol. Unfortunately, I am highly allergic, but have worked around it for years. However, my wife and I are both first responders and aren't home enough to give her the attention she deserves. We travel to the lake often during the summer and she does great on her own. She tolerates our dog with no issue and gets along with other cats. She deserves a home who can give her the attention she deserves. No known health issues, other than eye boogies, which is common on white kitties.

Cali is a stray neighbor cat that I brought in from the cold. She is sweet but my male cat doesn't get along with her.

Cassy, is 7 years old and loves to cuddle. She is a tortoise shell breed. She loves Catnip, dry cat food, but she dislikes other Cats. She likes to be treated like a princess. I got her from the Kentucky THANKS program, that is where she received her chip. Her front claws have been removed and her fur is soft like a rabbit. Cassy, loves one on one attention.

Stella was found as a stray at our apartment complex in November during the bitter cold. She is a very sweet girl but does have her boundaries being a former stray. Her age is estimated at 1.5 years old. She is fully vaccinated, flea treated, and spayed. Stella would do best in a home with no other animals. We have 3 resident cats and the reason for rehome is she is quite cat aggressive. She has never been aggressive towards humans unless there are other cats near and senses are heightened. She can definitely be a snuggle bug and is warming up more by the day. Stella will need a patient owner who is willing to learn and teach her the softer life of living indoors.

If you are looking for a purr machine, you found her! I found this sweet calico girl just before the snowstorm in the Xenia/Enon area & didn't want her to freeze. No one has replied to claim her, & we've had no luck finding a shelter that will accept her. No microchip. We've had no response to online posts about her being found. I'm guessing she was dumped because she begs for attention & is using a litter box without a problem - unlike most strays. We’ve had her checked out at the vet & she's negative for Feline Leukemia. The vet says she’s about 5 years old and, despite being skinny and having had a slight cold (treated), she's in good health. She got the following shots at the time: Deworm (Pyrantel) (0-60 lb.), Revolt Cat (5-15 lbs.) 0.375 ml, FVRCP #1, FeLV Vaccine #1, Wellness exam, Capstar Tab < 25lbs, Rabies Vaccine (1 Yr). It's unknown if she's fixed. She’s SUPER affectionate, even wanting attention before food! Our dogs won't accept her. Looking for her forever home.

She is about 5 years old. She doesn’t get along with my other pets and she seems to have a bad case of separation anxiety and gets jealous when we give attention to other pets. Aside from that, she would be a great only pet. She’s super friendly and will instantly become friends with any humans. She loves to explore new places and loves to look outside the window.
