Story
Born on May 7, 2023. Has 5 other siblings.* All are ready for adoption. Never been outside - flea free. Eating hard cat food. Weaned. Litterbox trained. I am NOT 100% certain of the sex of the kittens so make sure to double check before finalizing the adoption. "Are dilute calico cats rare? Yes, even female dilute calico cats are rare. As we saw above, only one in every 1,000 cats is born a standard calico and dilute calico cats are that much harder to come by. One of the reasons for this is that the dilution gene is what’s known as a recessive gene. That means that a more dominant gene can mask it and a kitten would need to inherit the dilution gene from both parents in order to be born a dilute calico. "...- so, consider yourself very lucky indeed if you become the pet parent to one of these beauties." https://www.petsradar.com/advice/dilute-calico-cat

Story
Say hello to MATTIE! -Adult (~3-5 years) -Dedicated biscuit maker -Powerful purr and sandpaper kisses! -A bit of an enigma, afraid of life itself -This kitty has behavioral considerations and will require medications and a special diet Mattie came into rescue very shut down, and has made some slow but steady progress in foster care with a calm environment and gentle routine, but her emotional comfort zone remains…contained. Literally. Fostering Mattie brings irony to the concept of foster home based rescue, considering the whole point is so that cats don't have to remain isolated, but solitude is truly Mattie's safe space: she has a single spare room all to herself, and will not come out of it. She’ll need a very special adopter; someone with a bounty of both time and patience to help unravel this fuzzy little ball of neuroticism. (And handling skills, as we would not consider her the easiest kitty to medicate, and the sensitive tummy makes for secretly medicated treats a challenge). Mattie lives with SIGNIFICANT anxiety that makes new environments and people overwhelming for her. She is very easily stressed and now that she is finally starting to become a bit more “cat-like” in her foster environment, we are eager to send her off to blossom in her forever environment. Despite her persistent state of “I Am Afraid,” she is truly soft at heart. She greets her food with enthusiasm, is passionate about fuzzy blankies, enjoys birdwatching from her cat tree, and is also a fan of chin scritchies and brushies. She has a proud purr and quite impressively (and perhaps slightly unsettingly) large eyeballs. Mattie’s anxiety does not actually present itself in a fractious nature; she doesn’t bite, she just hides when overwhelmed. Mattie wouldn’t hurt a fly. In fact, she is probably afraid of them. She is otherwise in good health, fully vaccinated, spayed, and also recently had her teeth cleaned.   What kind of home does Mattie need? -Quiet and low-stress -Patient and observant -Experienced with or open to supporting a behaviorally complex cat with medication needs -Okay with a cat who may always be a bit of a nervous nellie Just think of Mattie as the embodiment of “introvert energy.” Her current routine consists of liquid gabapentin by mouth twice daily, transdermal fluoxetine in the morning, and a hydrolyzed diet to keep her anxious tummy happy. So if you’re patient, motivated by even the tiniest progress, and emotionally fluent in “cat,” Mattie might just be your tiny, ghost-eyed soulmate.  Included with the adoption is the kitty's spay, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! Story
Urabella is straight up royalty! She carries herself and walks like she should be on the red carpet. She's so vocal and regal, and her foster says she will definitely be the boss in any home. She loves being petted and laying beside her people. Please note, she's had negative experience with dogs in the past, and won't tolerate them now; she will attack if they get in striking distance, so she'll need a calm, kitty-only home. She does get along with cats as long as they respect her space. She will likely do best in a home with adults and older children. Our vet estimates miss Urabella at 2 years old. Included with the adoption is the kitty's spay all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! Story
I've had Tugger for about 4 years and I adopted him when he was only a couple of months old. I got him from a client of mine who's kitchen I remodeled. He has the sweetest little soul. Loves to cuddle and get head rubs and scratches. He's an indoor / outdoor cat. I've seen him interact with other cats that come around my house, and he seems indifferent toward them. I really want him to go to a good home where he can live out the rest of his golden years. He's a good boy, and if it wasn't for my new born, I would be keeping him.

Story
Pawzy is a gentle little survivor who’s ready to trade the chaos of the streets for the comfort of a loving, calm home. She’s a pro at the litter box (and even tries to tidy up after herself!) and spends her days making biscuits on pillows while purring away. Pawzy is shy and will need some time to adjust, but with patience, she’ll blossom into a sweet companion. She’s fine around small dogs but may feel nervous around bigger ones, and she’ll appreciate a quiet space where she can feel safe. If you’re looking for a tender-hearted cat who just wants love and security, Pawzy may be the kitty for you! Pawzy is spayed and microchipped. You can apply to adopt her here. His adoption fee is $50.Follow Pawzy’s journey on our Facebook page. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Lyra, is the loving mama to our solar system kitties, though she's just a kitten herself at only a year old! Lyra seems to have spent a lot of time as an outdoor cat and has top notch hunter skills. However, now Lyra is ready to settle down from the exciting life of the outdoors and adventures in motherhood to a new, calm, loving home. Lyra loves pets and attention, but isn’t quite a lap cat yet. Lyra has been a wonderful mother to her own kittens as well as her six year old human foster sibling. She has been patient and loving with all. Lyra has responded well in all situations with her foster family and has been loving learning to be on a harness for outside adventures. She still loves the sun and outside from her glory days, but Lyra has also shown so much growth in her in home skills. She is litter trained as well. Lyra will go home spayed and up to date on vaccines. You can apply to adopt Lyra at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. Lyra's adoption fee is $50. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.
