Story
I got Luna about 6 years ago and ever since i had a baby a year and a half ago she is not getting the attention she needs anymore and mostly just hides all day. We have two dogs whom she gets along with but she now doesn’t have her own space like she used to. She loves to play and once warmed up to likes to lay on you and be petted. She never gets any play time any more and I want a home for her where she gets a lot of attention and affection. She is shy but once she gets to know you is attached and likes to be around you.

Story
Born on May 7, 2023. Has 5 other siblings.* All are ready for adoption. Never been outside - flea free. Eating hard cat food. Weaned. Litterbox trained. I am NOT 100% certain of the sex of the kittens so make sure to double check before finalizing the adoption. "Are dilute calico cats rare? Yes, even female dilute calico cats are rare. As we saw above, only one in every 1,000 cats is born a standard calico and dilute calico cats are that much harder to come by. One of the reasons for this is that the dilution gene is what’s known as a recessive gene. That means that a more dominant gene can mask it and a kitten would need to inherit the dilution gene from both parents in order to be born a dilute calico. "...- so, consider yourself very lucky indeed if you become the pet parent to one of these beauties." https://www.petsradar.com/advice/dilute-calico-cat

Story
We found this sweet cat in a parking lot. She was trying to get into cars and almost got ran over because she was sitting under a car trying to stay warm. The vet says she is approximately 2 to 3 years old. She seems to crave attention and wants to be around people. She is a little scared around noises and sharp movements. She had roundworm and has had medication from the vet for treatment. She eats well and uses the litterbox. Really all in all she is a really sweet girl and needs a loving home. We can’t keep her because we already have a cat that just doesn’t get along well with other cats.

Story
Due to my wife's health we need to rehome our Victoria - my wife has become quite unsteady on her feet and is worried that she is going to trip and fall with Victoria under foot. Victoria is 10 years old, and we have had her since she was a shelter kitten (spayed when she was a kitten). She has always been indoors and would do best in an environment that she can stay indoors 24/7. We are seniors and while she does tolerate our 6-year-old granddaughter we feel she would do best in a quiet household. She does have all of her claws, but only scratches on her post. She always uses her litter box and has only ever had Purina One dry food. Her last vet visit was approx. 6 months ago for a dental and had a clean bill of health. She would come with her scratching post, litter box (if desired), and cat carrier. She can be skittish at first but does warm up and enjoys a nice warm lap every evening. Any rehoming fee collected will be donated to the new family's shelter of choice.

Story
Lyra, is the loving mama to our solar system kitties, though she's just a kitten herself at only a year old! Lyra seems to have spent a lot of time as an outdoor cat and has top notch hunter skills. However, now Lyra is ready to settle down from the exciting life of the outdoors and adventures in motherhood to a new, calm, loving home. Lyra loves pets and attention, but isn’t quite a lap cat yet. Lyra has been a wonderful mother to her own kittens as well as her six year old human foster sibling. She has been patient and loving with all. Lyra has responded well in all situations with her foster family and has been loving learning to be on a harness for outside adventures. She still loves the sun and outside from her glory days, but Lyra has also shown so much growth in her in home skills. She is litter trained as well. Lyra will go home spayed and up to date on vaccines. You can apply to adopt Lyra at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. Lyra's adoption fee is $50. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
This distinguished gentleman of a cat is equal parts snugglebug, lap-warmer, and charming curmudgeon. Much like his famous namesake, Wilford Brimley (Brim) comes with a deep, soothing purr that could probably sell you oatmeal or read you a bedtime story. The moment you touch him—or better yet, bring him food—he rumbles like a bass note. Wilford Brimley the cat is an absolute people’s cat. He loves to be brushed, petted, cuddled, and adored by anyone willing to give him attention (kids included!). He takes his insulin shots like a champ—seriously, you won’t even see him flinch—and thanks to his care, his “diabeetus” is well-managed these days. That said, he’s a chow hound who can’t be trusted with an open buffet. He’ll eat anything in sight faster than you can say “Quaker Oats”, so he needs a family who can help him stick to his special diet. He sheds a bit and needs regular brushing (which he enjoys anyway). Now, let’s be honest: Wilford Brimley is not a fan of other pets. Dogs? Absolutely not. Other cats? He’s unpredictable at best, scrappy at worst. His ideal role in life is as your one-and-only—your faithful companion, your lap-warmer, your oatmeal-commercial co-star.If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, people-loving cat who will give you endless love (and a touch of dramatic flair), then Wilford Brimley is ready to make your home his forever. Wilford Brimley (again, the cat) is neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. His adoption fee is $50! Follow Wilford “Brim” Brimley’s journey on our Facebook page. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Sarabi is a medium sized tri-colored domestic short haired cat, around 3 years old. She is a total sweetheart! She loves attention and lives for pets and scritches. Sarabi is quiet and gentle. She loves to play with toys and explore her surroundings. Don't let her calm demeanor fool you, however--Sarabi has an ornery streak and has been known to dash out of doors in the blink of an eye! Sarabi is a healthy eater that always comes when called at dinner time. She is an avid litterbox pro and exudes main character energy. Sarabi would do best as the only kitty reigning over her kingdom, or with one or two loyal and laid-back feline subjects. Sarabi would do best in a household without guests of the canine persuasion. Her adoption fee is $50. She is vaccinated, FIV and FELV tested negative, microchipped and spayed. An application for Sarabi can be completed at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.
