Everyone please meet Olive! This sweet girl is around 3 years old and believed to be a Calico.Miss Olive started off a bit timid but has since opened up dramatically. Olive loves attention and will gladly hop up and spend her day on your lap. While Olive loves to play with toys and her scratching post, its clear that her favorite thing is ATTENTION! She is doing great with her litter box and we are working towards finding out how she does around other cats. You may apply to adopt Olive at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. Their adoption fee is $50 and she is vaccinated, FIV and FELV tested negative, microchipped and spayed. Many cats do well alone, but they often do great in pairs as well and can benefit from having a feline friend. Because of this, our adoption fees are $75 for one kitten or cat and $100 for two when adopted at the same time. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Cassy, is 7 years old and loves to cuddle. She is a tortoise shell breed. She loves Catnip, dry cat food, but she dislikes other Cats. She likes to be treated like a princess. I got her from the Kentucky THANKS program, that is where she received her chip. Her front claws have been removed and her fur is soft like a rabbit. Cassy, loves one on one attention. She can only be indoors as she has been declawed on her front paws.

As we saw above, only one in every 1,000 cats is born a standard calico and dilute calico cats are that much harder to come by. One of the reasons for this is that the dilution gene is what’s known as a recessive gene. Much like his famous namesake, Wilford Brimley (Brim) comes with a deep, soothing purr that could probably sell you oatmeal or read you a bedtime story. The moment you touch him—or better yet, bring him food—he rumbles like a bass note. Wilford Brimley the cat is an absolute people’s cat. He loves to be brushed, petted, cuddled, and adored by anyone willing to give him attention (kids included!). He takes his insulin shots like a champ—seriously, you won’t even see him flinch—and thanks to his care, his “diabeetus” is well-managed these days.That said, he’s a chow hound who can’t be trusted with an open buffet. Gourdo is a 6 month old petite black kitten wih a sweet personality and just the right amount of playful kitten energy. This handsome little guy is still learning that indoor life is pretty great. and each day he becomes a little more confident and curious about the world around him. Gourdo loves attention and will ask for pets and scratches when he is in the mood. He is also quite talkative and will chat with you about his day, which adds to his charm. He uses the litter box like a pro and even tolerates nail trimmings without a fuss...such a good boy! Gourdo enjoys playing, he gets long wonderfully with other cats and does just fine with dogs too. Because he enjoys feline company so much, he would likely thrive in a home with another friendly cat to help build his confidence. Since he is still adjusting to indoor life, he can be shy at first and may hide until he feels safe, but once things are calm and cozy, he is happy to come out and explore. Gourdo is not a huge fan of being picked up yet, he will tolerate it and he continues to grow more comfortable every day. With a little patience and love, Gourdo will blossom into an amazing companion and a sweet, playful addition to the lucky home that adopts him.
