Story
Rehoming my senior(11) cat, he is unhappy being in a home with young kids and now we have another baby on the way he would probably be happy and healthier in a slower and less chaotic home. He would need to be in a home with no kids and no dogs, ideally no cats. He is very aggressive towards dogs. He is slightly overweight and this is something we have been working on with him. He is mostly indoors but does like to lay out in the sun in our back yard, does not leave our yard though. Not overly affectionate but does occasionally rub against legs and ask for pets. Would be happy in a calm home with someone looking for an older kitty companion. No medical issues as far as we know. He will come with a cat tree and his food!

Story
Zo is a very sweet and affectionate 4.5 year old tabby cat. Once you earn her trust, which is easy to do, she will cuddle with you every night and accompany you wherever you are in your home. She also likes going outside in the backyard, but would be fine staying inside as well if outside wasn’t an option. She does not do well with other cats and often will become aggressive with cats if she feels threatened. She does not do well with high energetic dogs/ puppies, but she might adapt to living with an older and calm dog if necessary. I can include vet records, litter box with lid, leftover food, and lots of toys. She is completely potty trained and is free fed and never over indulges. She doesn’t scratch or tear up any furniture. She really is the perfect cat but is unable to live in a home with other pets.

Story
This bonded couple dual came from Talking Waters Park in Albany and were part of a fed feral colony and socialized to their feeders outside. They were actually celebrities among those who enjoyed seeing them as the walked their dogs along Cox Creek. Paulie adapted very well within a few days to indoor life. He acts like he was someone's domesticated cat as if he were never feral before. He loves attention, but loves his wet food even more. He is a very gentle sweetheart in his demeanor. Miss Crystal took a little longer adjusting to indoor life. She may take a few weeks to a month or so to develop trust with their new owners. But she is a love bug too and loves her feathered toys. They will also make excellent mousers, if needed. They still have the feral trait of stranger danger. Therefore, they will hide if guests come to visit. Ideally, someone who has dealt with feral cats as house pets, will do well with these two. Or a cat savvy person, probably a older female, in a calm peaceful home would be the best match. And they need to be the only cats in the household. They have been exposed to a lot of dogs in passing outdoors but uncertain about ALL dogs and indoor circumstances. They are fixed. Tested for Feline Leukemia & Feline Immuno-deficiency Virus. Paulie tested FIV+, but is fine with just his Crystal, no other cats. They are flea treated monthly and dewormed every 3 mths and will continue to need deworming if allowed outdoors after months of acclimating inside. They will be microchipped and their annual (FVRCP & Rabies) vaccines will be updated upon adoption. We are asking for a donation of $150 for the adoption fee for the pair.   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Cassandra is simply the sweetest girl looking for loving owners in a cozy, quiet home. Once comfortable she will be devoted to you, showering you with head bumps and love. She enjoys lap snuggles, gazing into your eyes as you fall asleep, and food!   She can be shy around strangers, loud noises, and will take a little time coming out of her shell. However, she is very food motivated and easily be persuaded with a little patience!   Her owners are elderly and the care facility they are moving into doesn't allow pets. Cassandra would be best suited in a home as the only pet and indoor only. Cassandra has diabetes so a routine lifestyle is important for her. She needs insulin twice a day and already has her food picked out! Cassandra is a lover and just wants to be loved!  Indoor only! $50 rehoming fee.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Sinclair is a sweet, DSH, 4-6 year old male black cat with touches of white on his chin, chest and paws and white whiskers. He is a quiet soul but seeks you out for head and chin scratches, which he adores.   He enjoys “hanging” with his foster mom, and having lots of pets. While he has been around cats, he would likely prefer to be an only cat. Thoroughly vetted, including bloodwork, he is healthy, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, etc. If you are looking for a sweet boy that will give you plenty of head butts, Sinclair is your guy!  Indoor only, adoption fee is $150.     This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Stella is a beautiful black cat that will talk your ear off if you let her. If you listen closely sometimes you can hear the attitude in her meow lol Stella loves pets and loves cuddles. If you leave your lap open, expect her to climb in it and make herself comfy. But not before she peeks into your lap first to make sure it's free for her to lay. If you grab a fluffy blanket to lay over you, she'll come right over and make some of the most intense biscuits I've ever seen a cat make! Stella does need time to get to know her surroundings as she is very anxious. She's very much a cat that requires gentleness, calmness, and understanding. She does run a lot and she will hide. But once she's comfortable she'll perch herself on the arm of your couch. Stella will need her litter box changed daily and possibly another litter box around the house to give her plenty of potty options. But we warned: she hates baths! This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
This girl is Lala she is 3 years old born March 22nd, 2021, she is the sweetest she loves to cuddle you and play with toys she like to go outside during the day and chase bugs and lay in the sun. Lala is fixed and good with younger cats it depends on older cats sometimes she likes them; dogs are a 100% no she is alright with my 4-year-old sister, but she will run and hide so I don't recommend younger kids around her. She has had her rabies shot but I'm not sure what other shots she has had. I've never really had a problem with her. She's always been a sweet girl. Sadly, I have to rehome her due to being pregnant and her not being very good with babies and she does like cuddling faces so I'm super worried about her smothering the baby. I really want to help her find a good calm home for her. This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. Rehoming fee is $80. Story
Hi- Emma has a sweet story. She has been a senior woman’s companion for the past 11 years. She was adopted as a tiny kitten and socialized with toddlers and dogs, but after her second year, she lived alone with her human. Sadly, her mom is in a Sr. Care facility and her toddlers are now teenagers. She absolutely loves our human family but is being terrorized by our 3 year old Siamese/Ragdoll and so we think should be happier as a single cat/animal home. Emma would love nothing better than to have lap time can cuddle time in a quiet environment without having to worry about other pets. We hope someone would be just the right fit. She is spade and had shots for the first few years when she lived with us, but since living alone with her companion, I don’t know how much follow up she’s had.

Story
Ellie loves every person she's ever met. Her happy place is curled up on your lap, on the back of the sofa near you, or in bed next to your pillow. Our nick-name for her is "little meeper" because rather than a meow, she makes little meeps when she's trying to get your attention. She'll also reach out with her right paw and tap you. Her favorite toys are little stuffed mice and a ribbon wand. She likes to scratch on the sisal pole of her cat tree and cardboard scratchers As a lifelong indoor kitty, she's not an escape artist. And she's a surprisingly good mouser. Ellie is great with dogs. She's good with children who know how to behave with animals and isn't frightened by them being their energetic selves. Ellie has always lived with a dog and plays with our current dog. She has always had someone home with her so a home with someone in the house most of the time would be best. Ellie does not get along with other cats.
