Story
Sweet girl but not good with children. She loves to be picked up. She enjoys being rubbed but not for long because she gets overstimulated. She loves to sit by opened windows. She is strictly an indoor cat. She loves playing with toys. She loves her scratching toys and playing with toy mice. She is not interested in cat towers or hotels. She has to be in a house with no children!

Story
Lap and Pets, Please!!  This beautiful girl is Bandit. Check out her amazing calico coloring and wide white stripe from her forehead to her tummy. Such a stunner! Bandit is affectionate and friendly, even with new people. She was fine with being picked up. I held her in my arms, and we gazed out the window together. Could Bandit be your window-gazing best friend forever? Please check out her videos:  https://www.youtube.com/shorts/v4PBpPkt-Wg  and  https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Frje9w1cYVg . Bandit is very happy to be out of the adoption center condo and in a foster home.  Bandit says, 'I’m a typical crazy calico girl.  I have all the calico attitude to go with it! I like attention and will talk to you to get it.  I give love nibbles.  I also like to purr.  Chase toys are my favorite, especially the laser ones. I don’t really like other cats, I would be better in a one cat home.' Bandit is about 2 years old and must be an only cat. Please ask to meet this sweet girl.  Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.   Thank you!  (Foster:  Trainer)April 15, 2025, 9:34 am

Story
FCID#11/06/2024-44Bubbles is now at Christiana Petsmart.Meet Bubbles, the girl with the big, bubbly purr! Look at Bubbles’s beautiful calico coloring. It’s a joy to pet Bubbles because of her intricate markings and also because she showers you with her deep, cozy purrs. (Enjoy Bubbles‘ video and turn up the volume to hear her rumbling purr!) Bubbles just loves pets and kind attention, and she keeps the contented purrs coming.  https://www.youtube.com/shorts/mxEyELYtrPI . Take a look at Bubbles’s photos. You can see how much she enjoys stretching out on her human’s lap. She also can’t wait to keep you company as you nap or read in bed. She’ll be a perfect TV buddy. Bubbles is also playful. She loves wand toys, especially wire cat dancers (see photo). Bubbles and her brother Squeegee are the best of friends. These two can be adopted together or separately. Beautiful Bubbles will bring plenty of love and fun and loyal companionship to her special people. Note: Although Bubbles enjoys Squeegee’s company, she may not be a fan of other cats. She has hissed under the door at other cats at her foster home. So, we just don’t know for sure how well Bubbles would make friends with other cats. Perhaps she would be fine once they spent time together and were not strangers. Would you like to welcome pretty Bubbles into your family? Please as to speak with her foster mom to learn all about her. Older children would be great, but young children, who can be loud and unpredictable, may be too much for Bubbles. Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Not ready to adopt?  Please consider fostering:  https://forgottencats.org/foster-a-cat/.   Thank you!  (Foster:  Laurie B)  April 16, 2025, 8:30 am

Story
Head and chin rubs, please!!!  Meet Coral, my beautiful tabico foster.  Coral came to me after having her left leg amputated, to gain her confidence living without a leg. Coral has come such a long way. Having her leg amputated has not slowed her down at all. She jumps, runs, plays without issue. Coral loves: food and treats, soft toys she can easily grab and cat nip. To see her growth and love grow over the last 3 months has been amazing. She went from a cat that did not really interact with me to jumping and running to me when I walk in her room. She lights up and meows at me until I pet her. Coral loves being having her head and chin rubbed as she sits there purring away.  To her future adopter: Please be patient with Coral as she adjusts to her new surroundings. She was very reserved at first, but within a month, she was playing, laying on the couch with me and loving life. Coral also loves her own space and laying in windows. She may enjoy being an only cat; however, Coral has been introduced to resident cats. She is unsure at times but only hisses, but with time and patience, I believe she would adjust perfectly fine with another laid back cat that gives her space. She does okay with my one resident cat that comes into her area. That’s because he just wants to be in the space and doesn’t bother her. She is a girl who just loves her humans and cuddling.  Coral is playing with her foster family.  Please ask to meet her and have some playtime!  Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster:  Joanna S.)  November 7, 2024, 5:25 pm

Please meet Flipper!  Our volunteer photographer says, 'Omg, this sweet girl loves attention and pets, even with her injured leg, she will hobble to you to get love.' We visited Flipper and had the same observation as the photographer. Social girl Flipper went back and forth between us to get lots of pets and kind attention. She was so outgoing and friendly even though she didn’t know us. Take a look at the video we posted:  https://www.youtube.com/shorts/jWbpSgGcwoc . Flipper is now playing in our Brookhaven PetSmart adoption center.  Please ask to spend some time with this sweetie!  Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Not ready to adopt?  Please consider fostering:  https://forgottencats.org/foster-a-cat/.   Thank you!  (Foster:  Trainer)April 3, 2025, 4:19 pm
