Story
MORE THAN A CAT -- A GREAT COMPANION DOB 4/1/22 This striking calico comes wrapped in a delightfully chunky package, complete with a soft, plush build that practically begs for gentle hugs (on her terms, of course). With her beautifully patterned coat and soulful eyes, Prudence has perfected the art of looking both regal and irresistibly huggable. Affectionate doesn’t quite cover it. Prudence is operating at maximum cuddle capacity. She’s the kind of companion who will happily keep you company through quiet evenings, lazy mornings, and everything in between. If you sit down, she’ll be there. If you lie down, even better. Low-energy and proud of it, Prudence believes life is best enjoyed at a relaxed pace. No chaos, no drama -- just soft pets, cozy spots, and quality time with her favorite humans. If you’re looking for a calm, loving presence with a little extra fluff and a whole lot of heart, Prudence is ready to settle in and make your home her forever kingdom. HOPE ID 26-0416-G049 Prudence is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption. The $325 adoption fee includes transport, health certificate, spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. She is a friendly stray that we found. I think she may be pregnant. We already have 3 cats and we couldn't just leave her outside. If anyone can get her that would be amazing. She is a really sweet girl. We havent had any issues with her. But our only other female cat keeps trying to attack her and we dont want anything to happen to her.

Story
Raffia is a 6-year-old calico with a big personality, a loving heart, and a story of incredible resilience. After being abandoned by the people she trusted, Raffia was left to survive on her own through the harsh Houston weather and elements. Thankfully, she was eventually brought to safety, where she received the care she desperately needed. She arrived with a few medical concerns that had to be addressed, but after months of treatment, monitoring, and lots of TLC, Raffia is doing great and is finally ready to find the forever home she has waited so long for. One of the biggest obstacles in her adoption journey is her heart condition, which requires a once-daily medication that costs approximately $50 per month. Despite being stable, healthy, and living a happy life, many potential adopters have passed her by because of her diagnosis. It breaks our hearts because Raffia has so much love, companionship, and joy to offer the right family. Raffia is a sweet, affectionate, and delightfully sassy girl. She loves rubbing against your legs, following you around the house, and charming everyone she meets. Food is one of her favorite things in life, and shes never shy about reminding you when its mealtime. After spending the last 15 months in boarding while waiting for her chance at a home, were helping her shed a few extra pounds and enjoy more exercise now that she has more space to move around. Like many confident cats, Raffia knows exactly what she likes. She enjoys affection and loves being pet, but she is not a fan of being picked up and carried around. Shell also let you know when shes had enough attention and appreciates people who respect her boundaries. Raffia would likely thrive as the only cat in the home where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. She may do well with respectful dogs, as shes a confident and self-assured cat. We would recommend a home without young children and feel she would do best with older, cat-savvy kids (14+) or adults who understand feline body language and respect her space. After everything shes been through, Raffia deserves a family willing to look beyond a diagnosis and see the wonderful cat she truly is. Shes affectionate, entertaining, full of personality, and more than ready to spend the rest of her life being loved.

Story
Mallie is a sweet, senior kitty who really wants attention. She wants to be pet (but not on her hips). She can be playful even in her senior years! My mother-in-law was her person - a veterinarian for over 50 years - but we had to move her to assisted care where she is unable to keep her cats. I tried to keep Mallie, but she is unable to integrate with our own 3 cats. She needs much more attention that I can give her. She desperately wants to interact. She snuck out of our guest room and into my daughter's noisy room of girls when they were having a sleepover. She just wanted girl time! She has been declawed, but watch out if you pet her or brush her somewhere she doesn't like, she might bite, but we are working through that! She does shed...but if she gets a proper grooming and you keep her brushed, she is just SO sweet. She's 16-17 years old, it's amazing how youthful she still seems. She really just needs some love and attention in her final years.

Story
Sheeba was brought in as a feral cat from a rescue that was closing their doors. We had helped to socialize Sheeba. She still needs patience and a quiet home to belong to in the long term, as she is an older cat. She is about 9 years old. I have an allergy to the cat litter, and I have tried many different brands, but they are all the same. My kids have to change the litter for me, and with my busy schedule, I haven't been able to keep up with her needs. I feel the best for Sheeba is to help her find a quiet, loving home. Sheeba mostly keeps to herself, but loves to cuddle in the evening and during quiet moments in our busy house. She needs someone who would be patient with her and allow her to come to them on her terms, not yours. She has her nails declawed as she likes to knead on your back and legs in the early morning (leaving scratches). She is litter box trained and strictly indoors only!

Story
Cleo is a 3 year old female, whom dosnt get along with other female cats! That’s why I’m refining her she is an amazing cat. She loves to be in a window. Loves to be pet and loves to eat her wet food. Absolutely loves her treats. Unfortunately, when getting her unknowingly to me, I wasn’t prepared for her to not get along with my other female cats!! Cleo, hides, fights hisses. It’s upset set me be. I want a better life for her. I’m trying my hardest to find her a better life to I’m reaching out to all the rescues, and rehoming sites. Cleo is potty trained. She uses litter boxes. She dosnt like the automatic litter boxes. She is very frightened from them. Cleo is to date on shoes with I gave her myself.
