Story
We love our cat very much, but my son’s allergy has worsened, and all the doctors are insisting that we find a new home for her. She is six years old and has lived in a non-smoking private home with two children. She’s a very smart and patient cat. She knows how to use a litter box but prefers doing her business outside. During rainy seasons, she only goes out briefly for the bathroom, but in the summer, she loves basking in the sun near the house. Asya is flea-free; we treat her with a special medicine from time to time in case she brings anything in from outside. She patiently stands by the door, quietly waiting for us to let her out, and then taps the door lightly with her paw when she wants to come back in. She doesn’t meow or demand attention; she just sits near you silently, waiting for us to pour her dry food or give her vitamins. It feels like she understands our voice and gestures and quietly guides us to whatever she needs help with. She doesn’t have a specific favorite spo

Story
Meet Minina – The Ultimate Cuddle Bug! Minina is a sweet, gentle 6-year-old kitty who is looking for a new forever home. She lost her previous owner to illness, and now she’s hoping to find a family who will love her as much as she’ll love them. Minina is a true snuggle enthusiast! She adores being brushed, held, and showered with affection. Her calm and friendly nature makes her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a lap cat who’s always ready to curl up for a cozy nap. She’s cat, dog, and small animal friendly, so she’ll fit right in with other furry family members, too. Minina is spayed, fully vaccinated, and is an excellent litter box user. She’s low-maintenance and would thrive in a calm, loving environment where she can spend her days relaxing and enjoying gentle companionship. If you’re looking for a cuddly, devoted friend to add warmth and love to your life, Minina might be your purr-fect match! To add Minina to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She’s purring with excitement at the thought of finding her forever home, and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2220789##

Story
Meet Gumball!  (In Texas)Gumball is a sweet and shy girl who was brought to her finder's patio by her Momma along with her siblings in May of 2023.  She may be a bit reserved at first, but she truly blossoms into a loving and cuddly companion once she gets to know you.Gumball absolutely adores being brushed.  She completely enjoys her morning and evening snuggles. Gumball's favorite pastimes include sitting in the window and bird watching - she's truly a little observer of the world. If you're looking for a furry friend who will be by your side through thick and thin, Gumball is the perfect addition to your family.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.November 4, 2024, 11:33 am

Story
My daughters cat GreyLeaf needs a good home. My daughter is in college in Iowa and I am disabled and in the process of moving. GreyLeaf was a feral community cat that we adopted. She is spayed and has had her shots, no records unfortunately. She is around 6 or 7 and she is very loving. She is a indoor cat that likes to hang out on balconies. She has only ever know me and my daughter so im not sure how she would be with other animals. She is kinda a skiddish and she has something going on with her rear end. I think its her food or litter. She should get a vet checkup. If you are able to help please contact me. GreyLeaf is very important to my daughter and I would love to see her go to a good home where my daughter could possibly visit her. Thank you for your consideration.
