Xochitl (so-chee) is an incredibly loving, affectionate kitty looking for her forever home. We are truly heartbroken to rehome her, and she will only go to someone committed to keeping her long-term. She gets along well with other cats and loves to play and cuddle. we currently have two cats she interacts with daily. Xochitl was found on the highway in Roy, WA at about one year old, so we are unsure of her early history. The main challenge is ongoing litter box issues. We’ve had multiple vet visits and tried many different solutions over the past two years, but the problem has continued. With an upcoming move and strict landlord requirements, we cant risk further issues. And she cannot move with us to our new home. We definitely would love to see her in a very loving home. We believe she should most likely be in a house where she is the center of attention. Not sure if we want her to be outdoors either.

My wife found her while working in a neighborhood down in South Carolina, so we unfortunately don't know too much about her age. We're hoping she could find a home more fit for her comfort, she's pretty independent, but she requires attention and a calmer daily regimen. All around she's an absolute sweet heart, that is very vocal and just happy to be around people.

Poor Kalispell has not had an easy time of it since arriving at the shelter back in August 2025. Just a couple of weeks after she arrived as a stray, she gave birth to a litter of kittens, which meant she (and they) had to wait until the kittens were weaned before any of them could be listed for adoption. During this time, Kalispell was an excellent mother - perhaps a bit too good, as she did her best to shun attentions from the shelter staff and volunteers, preferring to keep them away from her babies (and of course, we HAD to socialize and handle the little ones, leading to much frustration for Kalispell). Just when Kalispell's kittens were adopted and we thought she, too, would be ready to head home - she contracted a calicivirus infection requiring a fairly lengthy quarantine period, with little human contact daily (to help prevent the spread of infection). She has now fully cleared her calici infection, but during the past couple of months, has grown depressed, antisocial, and slightly obese. She is now allowed to interact with other cats in a healthy-cat communal Meow Manor room, and gets many more human visits for snuggles and attention, but thus far has not perked up or shown much interest in interactions with any species. Kalispell needs a calm and loving home with an understanding family who will help her gradually lose weight, while learning all about the love of humans and fun to be had as a family pet. With your help, she can recover her broken spirit and find joy in life again! She's still a young cat, with an estimated birth date of 8/1/24, and we all want to see her blossom and live a long and happy life in an adoptive home. All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Kalispell is a suggested minimum of $50 (more gratefully accepted). This is a mother and adult female daughter. Lovely, sweet cats cared for by a family member who has died. No households in the family are in a position to adopt them. They are a bonded pair and we are seeking a nice home for them together. We think Momma is 6 ish and the Missy at least 4 years old.

Pixel is a large dark tabby (some photos look lighter than he is) with big paws and he's incredibly affectionate. He’s been altered, vaccinated, dewormed, monthly flea treatment applied, combo tested (negative) and microchipped! He’s co-existed with two female cats, and he was a gentleman. We aren’t sure about other males or dogs at this time. Pixel would make a great addition to an indoor only home where he can snuggle (he loves soft blankets and toys too). He’d do well in apartment life as long as he has room to roam and high places to survey his kingdom. Pixel is in our foster-to-adopt program (this means he would be in your home as foster first, he comes with a cat tower, litterbox, litter, food, tons of enrichment toys and so much more)! Pixel is in a private home as we are not a shelter, we would bring Pixel to to meet you. Pixel would need time to decompress and get to know his surroundings and you! Pixel would be successful in a home where there are not a lot of visitors (at first), and then mindful and purposeful introductions. Pixel is a loving cat he has been in our rescue for several months, we know he's not a cute kitten, but he's an awesome cat. Please no phone calls, texts or emails.
