Story
Introducing the fabulous Italian brother and sister duo, Cairo and Cleo. 🐕🐕🐾🐾🐕🐕🐾🐾🐕🐕🐾🐾 They come together as a very precious package 🎁 deal! In short, the duo could be described as the following anecdote… If this was the world of Wizard of Oz, Cleo would be Toto 🐶 and Cairo would be the sweet lion 🦁 who just needs to find his courage. HOW OLD ARE YOU? Cleo and Cairo are both about a year old. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? Cairo is a tall and handsome boy and may be around 100 pounds right now. Cleo is close behind with estimated 70 pounds of pure beauty! WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? Cairo is tall, dark gray and sinfully handsome, with absolutely mesmerizing large gray eyes! Cleo is an all-around black beauty, with brown eyes and only few white hairs on her chest. She looks like a puma and is as nimble as a cat too! WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? Both are good with kibble and love apples 🍎 These two cuties are both very healthy eaters! WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? Cleo is the team manager, that’s for sure! She is outgoing, super friendly, and curious. As the leader, she may be demanding from time to time, and has a slight difficulty with separation from her human parent. For example, she will not stay outside for long unless her foster mom is there too. She would rather be at home watching you work, nap or play with her toys. Our baby Cairo is the sweetest thing! But he is also super shy. He is afraid of almost everything he sees for the first time. Cairo relies on his sister, Cleo, for emotional support, and is very submissive to her, as well as anything and everyone else. However, after Cairo gets comfortable in his surroundings, he becomes like a little puppy again, playing and having fun. DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY Happy days are pretty easily achieved. The two love to wake up early for a big breakfast. Throughout the day, they like to take naps and play with their foster sister, Daisy. Play time involves running and chasing each other around, chewing on hard toys, playing tug-of-war games, and splashing in a pool. More naps throughout the day followed by a big dinner🥩. Most of all, they love to be with their human!! 👧 👦🏼 Cleo enjoys walks 🐕 either with just her foster mom or as a trio when foster sister Daisy joins the fun. Cairo prefers to stay home and watch the world from the safety of his couch. He loves to watch the activities happening in the neighborhood. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? Cairo and Cleo love their chew toys. DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? The pups are working hard on the basics, including learning to sit and shake your hand. They are very well-behaved as they wait for a treat or bath. 🦴 🛁 WHAT SCARES YOU? Cairo is uncertain about a lot of things in the world and needs to gain confidence so he will be more comfortable with the goings-on in everyday life. Cleo is fearless! HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN, DO YOU LIKE THEM? The pups are naturally very kindhearted and gentle. However, due to their size, a home with older children, or no children, may be a better fit than with small children. DO YOU LIKE CATS? Cleo and Cairo have ignored cats that they have come across while in foster care. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? These two LOVE other dogs! 👍 IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD WHERE WOULD IT BE? Both Cleo and Cairo love to be with their humans. They are attentive and loyal and make wonderful companions. HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? ⭐️ Both dogs are strong and healthy. Cleo does have a small “cherries” in her eyes, but they do not obstruct her vision or bother her at all. WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? Cleo and Cairo live with their foster mom and foster sister Daisy. The dogs love to play and spend time together. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? Both Cleo and Cairo are crate trained so they nap in their trusty crates when they are home alone. WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? The pups love to sleep in their special safe space, aka their crates. 😴 💤 DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON THE LEASH? Cairo is not comfortable with walking out in the big scary world yet. He doesn’t mind the leash, but until he is more confident, walks are a bit overwhelming. Cleo LOVES her walks. DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT, FOR INSTANCE DO YOU BARK OR DIG IN THE YARD? Cairo uses gentle nibbling on blankets or other objects as a soothing mechanism. He is easily diverted from it by being presented with a toy he could use instead. Cleo is bit lazy and will relieve herself in places just outside the door, even if the space outside the door is only the garage. She just interprets “go outside” literally to mean just not inside the house. Cleo is also very curious and likes to snoop around in places that foster mom says she does not belong. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED? Both dogs are house trained, with Cleo taking the “in the house” versus “outside the house” directive literally (see above). DO YOU LIKE WATER? Both dogs LOVE water! Cairo is much more excited to play in the water and Cleo does better with baths than Cairo, but overall, both take to water very well. 💦 💧 WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? The dogs love the attention they get from their foster mom and are very responsive to her discipline and routine. She gives them lots of love 💕 and affection but does not let them get away with any shenanigans either. 👏 WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NOR CAL BULLY BREED RESCUE? These two gorgeous pups were found roaming the streets all by themselves. Cairo may be still suffering from PTSD from that, and this is why possibly he is not thrilled about taking walks outside of his safe space. No other information is known about the sweet pups. ⭐️⭐️Cleo and Cairo are a bonded pair and their adoption fee is $500 (for both dogs). ⭐️⭐️ If you are interested in adopting this duo, please jump on our website and fill out an adoption application - www.norcalbullybreedrescue.org ‼️At this time, we are asking for adopters to be in the Sacramento and IMMEDIATE surrounding areas.‼️ For more information on what that means and why that is, please click on the following link: https://www.facebook.com/333019703483910/posts/3264412130344638/?extid=0&d=n Thank you so much in advance for understanding!!!

I love being near my human as much as possible. I especially love playing fetch or getting to chase after my foster brother. We have so much fun together! DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: I like to wake up nice and early, as I’m always excited for breakfast. Then I savor my leisurely schedule with a nice long bone-chewing session. As long as I get some playtime, cuddles, and a good walk, I don’t mind what order it’s in…I just want to be with you as much as possible. 💕 WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? Yes, I haven’t had a single accident in the house!😇 DO YOU LIKE WATER? The rain is not for me, but I am a very good girl in the bath. I actually enjoy them! WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? Yummy!😊 WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE? My owner got pretty sick and couldn’t take care of me anymore, so I had to go to the shelter. ****** COURTESY POST***** NOT A SHELTER Meet Hercules: A Gentle Giant in Need of a Loving Home Are you looking for a loyal companion to join your family? Meet Hercules, a 7-month-old Cane Corso with a heart as big as his size. Hercules is a well-mannered young pup who is both potty-trained and crate-trained, making him an ideal indoor companion. He's up-to-date on all his shots, ensuring he's healthy and ready to be your new best friend. However, Hercules is facing a minor health issue called cherry eye, which is being treated under the care of a veterinarian. Despite this, he is full of love and affection, eagerly waiting to find his forever home. Hercules thrives in a loving environment, but due to his size, he would benefit from a spacious home with room to roam. He enjoys his bones and will not let you take them from him. If you have experience with large breeds and are ready to welcome Hercules into your heart and home, please reach out to us at jacquellinehernandez1@gmail.com. Let's give Hercules the loving home he deserves!   All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Story
Rocky is a black Cane Corso. He is around 5 to 6 years old. He needs a home where he will be taken care of like he deserves. I an a disabled senior and am unfit to care for him for he is to big for me to walk. I was born with cerebral palsy and its very hard for me to be around him. Rocky moves fast and i have fallen a few times because of it. I lost track of time and did not have him checked for shots of chip. I lost contact with the person who put him in my care. I took him in thinking I was going to be able to handle the job. Rocky is a great guard dog. He is an outside dog. likes to come in and inspect the house then he goes right back out. He likes to lay out in the sun in the yard. we don't have cats and he rally hasn't been around kids too much the few times he was around he did good played but like i said always supervised. He is not an aggressive dog. Just too big for me to handle.
