He is calm indoors, respectful of his space, and thrives with routine. He is an ideal dog for someone familiar with large or guardian breeds who wants a loyal, steady companion. He would do best in a home that appreciates his size while offering structure and affection. Everyone that meets him loves him and says how handsome he is. Even through his fear, Ziggy shows how sweet he truly is — he will allow you to leash him, and once on a walk he stays right by your side. When he gets scared, he may stop, but he never pulls.If Ziggy is brave enough to take a treat, he does so with the softest, most gentle mouth. And when he begins to trust you, this boy completely melts, leaning into you and curling up in your lap as if he’s been waiting for safety his whole life.Ziggy is dog friendly and desperately needs out of the shelter so he can decompress and learn what it feels like to be safe.
