Maximus here!! I`m a big guy who`s just excited to meet you. I`m a very sweet and friendly gentle giant who looooves to give kisses!! I also love some treats and toys, know some commands such as `sit` and `down` and just love to walk on leash and take a nice stroll. I`m starting to hit my senior years and think I just need to find a nice bed to spend my golden years in. Please take me home!

Story
Rene was wandering around the block for several weeks, until he was given the opportunity to enter the home of one of the rescuers. He has been a very protective, loving dog, and from the first moment he was always grateful. He has gained weight and is ready for his new home. He loves to get close to the fence to be petted by neighbors. He is good with cats, although because of his size we do not leave him unsupervised when he is with them, and he lives with most females. He doesn't like to have another male around, he is the alpha and everyone knows it, but with people, he is the biggest baby of them all. He loves treats, lots of love and affection, going for walks and playing with balls and rubber toys. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. The adoption fee does not include transportation to North of San Diego

Story
Tony is a full bred cane corso. He was acquired from a breeder as a puppy and has been with his family since. Due to his family moving to Japan because of the military and restrictions they are unable to take him. His family is devastated and wants a good home for him. Tony is a huge love bug with no behavior issues. He is great with kids since he lives with them and goes to doggy daycare. Loves attention and sometimes thinks he's a lap dog. Loves his toys and playtime. He is 130lbs , neutered, and up to date on vaccinations.January 7, 2025, 3:22 pm

Story
Luna is the rescues longest resident. As a young puppy Luna was sent to a board n train where harsh methods were used and her trust in humans was completely destroyed. She was flown down to us from a shelter in San Jose in the hopes we could work with her and get her to the point of being able to safely be adopted out. Luna has definitely been a labor of love but she is ready for a home of her own now. She has perfect house manners and is completely house broken. She walks beautifully on a leash and participates in our pack walks where she solicits love and attention from everyone. On the homefront she can be protective but she is a corso, and this is to be expected. She’s been fostered with both dogs and cats and with proper introductions would easily be able to live with other pets. She’s never had an altercation with any animal. She really needs a home with someone who understands the breed and loves cuddling with their pup as she’s a huge cuddler.

Story
Tony is a three year old full bred cane corso. We are a military family and are being relocated to Japan and can not bring him with us. We are heart broken about this decision. Tony is very loving and loves attention. He is also great with our one and a half year old son. He will love and protect you fiercely. Tony has been great with all of our guests and our family members back home in NJ. He has been around dogs before and has gone to day care a few times with no issues. We would love to find someone who could adopt Tony as opposed to having to give him to a shelter.

Story
Meet Caruso! This handsome hunk of love entered Lancaster Shelter as a stray during the holidays, and when he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up on January 8th to become a Frosted Face. Caruso is estimated to be 7 years old, and he weighs 92 lbs. He is very sweet and friendly. And well-mannered, too! He sits for treats without being asked and takes them sooo gently from our hands. Caruso is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, getting lots of love & pampering after his experiences as a stray, while we learn what he is like in a home. Check back soon for an update!
