Story
Meet Stormi! :pink_heart::feet: Stormi recently celebrated her 1st birthday and is ready to find the forever family she deserves. She was originally purchased from a breeder in Modesto, but at just 11 months old, her owner made the difficult decision to rehome her after realizing they no longer had the time she needed. Despite the changes in her young life, Stormi hasn’t lost her joyful spirit. She’s a big, happy puppy who loves to play, soak up affection, and be close to her people. Like any young large-breed dog, she’ll thrive with structure, consistency, and clear boundaries as she continues to grow. Stormi is eager to learn and truly wants to please. All she’s missing is a family willing to invest in her, show her the ropes, and give her the love and guidance she’s been waiting for. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who will reward your patience with endless love, Stormi might just be your perfect match.

Story
What can we say about our sweet, handsome Tiki Boy? SO MUCH! We’ve had this dapper 2 year-old Cane Corso/Dane/Bully mix in rescue for about 8 months now and he is barely recognizable from the dog we saved from the euthanasia list. Tiki was dumped at the shelter, and we don’t think he ever knew life outside of a backyard or that humans could be kind before we took him in. When we met Tiki, he avoided eye contact and human touch, wouldn’t hold his head up, and was scared of every little thing (even the wind). While in foster, he’s been exploring the world and gaining confidence each day, and, most importantly, learning what it means to have the safety and love that he deserves. He has truly blossomed and is showing us more and more each day that he is a super silly and affectionate giant puppy dog. Tiki is best friends with his 130-pound mastiff foster sister and would love a home with another doggy friend to play with! He is respectful and kind with his foster cat sibling too! He is gentle and sweet with his six-year old human foster sister as well, and we think he’d do excellently in a home with older kids. This pup is an active boy and a guardian breed who needs an owner who is committed to meeting his exercise needs (he’s a great running/biking partner!), continuing his socialization, and respecting his boundaries. These dogs may be slow to warm up, but they are incredibly loyal and protective of their pack, and the love they give is truly something special once you have it! Tiki is waiting patiently for his forever family at his foster home in Sacramento and he would love to meet you to see if it’s a match.

💕 MEET GRETCHEN! 💕 If you’ve ever thought, “You know what my life needs? A 100 pound best friend with a gigantic head and absolutely no concept of personal space,” we have your girl 👌😅 Meet Gretchen! She was rescued from the euthanasia list at Stanislaus Animal Services Agency when the shelter ran out of space. She made it out, overcame a rough medical start, and today she is safe, healthy, ridiculously loved, and officially ready to find her forever family. And thanks to Embark, we finally know exactly what created this masterpiece: 🧬 48.5% Cane Corso 🧬 24.3% Mastiff 🧬 15.3% Bullmastiff 🧬 11.9% Neapolitan Mastiff Basically, someone ordered the Mastiff variety pack 😂 Gretchen is around 3 years old and 95-100 pounds although we remain convinced a significant percentage of that is just her head. She is goofy, affectionate, playful and SO much fun. Gretchen loves people and approaches life with the enthusiasm of someone who believes every day is her birthday. She wants to be involved, wants to be loved, and has absolutely no idea she is the size of a small refrigerator. She’s also a BIG dog who likes BIG dog play. Wrestling, chasing, body slamming and general nonsense are right up her alley. A large, playful canine buddy who appreciates her particular brand of chaos could be an amazing match. More reserved dogs may find Miss Gretchen to be…a bit much 🤭 She is crate trained, potty trained and doing wonderfully in a home. She’s still polishing up her manners and occasionally needs reminding that not every waking moment needs to be a party. Because she can be mouthy when excited and is approximately the size of an adult human, we’re looking for a home without small/young children. Cats and small animals are unknown. Gretchen is a true guardian-breed girl..loyal, alert, incredibly loving and happiest when she has structure and knows what’s expected of her. We’d love to find her a family with large/guardian-breed experience who will continue her training and appreciate her for exactly who she is. And who is Gretchen? 100 pounds of brindle. 40 pounds of head. Zero pounds of personal space. And one VERY good girl!🥹❤️ 📍 Fostered in Oakdale, CA 💕 Apply to meet her through California Bully Rescue.

Story
Clover is a sweet, growing puppy ready to find her forever home. She is a smart and playful girl, already nailing some basic obedience skills in her foster home and will benefit from adopters committed to continuing her training and socialization. She is incredibly affectionate and will bring many smiles to her future family members. She is dog- friendly, does great with humans of all sizes, and is working on her potty training. Raising a puppy takes time, patience, consistency, and plenty of supervision. During this important developmental stage, she needs people who are home at least every three to four hours throughout the day for potty breaks, guidance, companionship, and opportunities to learn. *Puppy classes are strongly encouraged, both for training and continued socialization.* As she grows, her exercise and activity needs will increase, so her family should be prepared to provide regular walks, age-appropriate exercise, mental enrichment, and ongoing training as she matures. Clover is at the very beginning of her journey, and with the right guidance, she’ll have every opportunity to grow into a wonderful adult companion. She is estimated to become a large adult dog about 70 pounds (no guarantees). Clover’s DNA has ascertained that she is 100% Cane Corso. •We are looking for adopters who are experienced or well-researched on the Cane Corso breed. (HH)
