He will thrive in adult household of one or more, he's good with small dogs tend to shy away from larger dogs although he is curious and want to smell them. It takes time for him to warm up to new people and dogs a proper introduction and a little time. Akbar is house trained, knows the basic commands, crate trained, no separation anxiety, up to date on vaccinations, he's currently on a raw food diet.

This lovable girl has a happy spirit and an adorable wagging nub that shows just how excited she is to spend time with people. Treat motivated learner: She responds to “sit” with treats and takes them gently. Engaging and responsive: Zora is eager to follow directions, even happily placing her front paws up on a chair during a photo moment. Affectionate companion: Zora leans in sweetly for pets and sometimes rolls over with a joyful wiggle to invite a belly rub. Working on leash manners: She pulls on leash at times and is polishing her leash etiquette. Dog interactions: Zora may show interest and occasionally pull toward other dogs, though she can be redirected with guidance. BOSA is still learning to walk on leash, and he does jump and pull, because he is just a puppy in a giant's body. He doesn't know "sit" yet but one volunteer discovered that if you gently rub the big guy from the back of his neck all the way down his back to his tailbone, he will sit for you, (almost) every time. BOSA will require an adopter with plenty of breed and training experience, because he's a sweet boy, but he's also a powerful breed. He needs a patient, confident, and active home that will dedicate time to positive-reinforcement training to help him channel his big puppy energy into becoming a well-mannered gentleman.Because BOSA is so new to the shelter, we will add more details as we get to know him better. Cricket is a female Cane Corso mix who is approximately four years old, and currently weighs about 82 pounds. She was brought to our shelter on 2/18/26 after being found in Castro Valley. She hasn't been reclaimed by her previous person, so she's now looking for a new home! She has been vaccinated, spayed, and is already micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable), plus the cost of her spay surgery.

Finley is a young, male Mastiff mix who was surrendered to our shelter on 1/15/26 because his previous owner said they had no time for him. He is approximately one year old, currently weighs about 75 pounds, and we were told he is a mix of Cane Corso and Bullmastiff. Finley is a sweet guy who can be a bit shy when he first meets someone, but after a proper introduction, he becomes quite outgoing and silly! Because of his initial shyness though, we are currently recommending that he go to a home without children. Finley has been vaccinated, and will be neutered and micro-chipped before going to his new home. His adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). His neuter surgery will be sponsored!

My best friend had a friend that was selling dogs. She knew I wanted a big dog lol I ended up getting spike at two weeks already potty trained. He’s five years old now and just love to be loved on. He’s a big ol baby, he doesn’t realize how big of a dog he is. Spike is amazing! All he wants to do is chill under you and at times in his crate when he wants to be to himself. If you’re looking for a great buddy spike is the one. He wants all the attention and he will make sure to get it lol. Spike loves fetch but only if you’re chasing him. He loves his hikes and walks, afterwards lay and roll around in the grass. Hes well trained but hard head at times but listens on command.
