It takes time for him to warm up to new people and dogs a proper introduction and a little time. Akbar is house trained, knows the basic commands, crate trained, no separation anxiety, up to date on vaccinations, he's currently on a raw food diet.

BOSA is still learning to walk on leash, and he does jump and pull, because he is just a puppy in a giant's body. He doesn't know "sit" yet but one volunteer discovered that if you gently rub the big guy from the back of his neck all the way down his back to his tailbone, he will sit for you, (almost) every time. BOSA will require an adopter with plenty of breed and training experience, because he's a sweet boy, but he's also a powerful breed. He needs a patient, confident, and active home that will dedicate time to positive-reinforcement training to help him channel his big puppy energy into becoming a well-mannered gentleman.Because BOSA is so new to the shelter, we will add more details as we get to know him better. My best friend had a friend that was selling dogs. She knew I wanted a big dog lol I ended up getting spike at two weeks already potty trained. He’s five years old now and just love to be loved on. He’s a big ol baby, he doesn’t realize how big of a dog he is. Spike is amazing! All he wants to do is chill under you and at times in his crate when he wants to be to himself. If you’re looking for a great buddy spike is the one. He wants all the attention and he will make sure to get it lol. Spike loves fetch but only if you’re chasing him. He loves his hikes and walks, afterwards lay and roll around in the grass. Hes well trained but hard head at times but listens on command.

Hank is a big beautiful 1 yr old boy that is fully/professionally trained. House trained (no accidents in over 6 months), crate trained (not a peep overnight for 9 hours even when my kids wake us up in the middle of the night), leash trained (amazing walker/ trained not to pull), well behaved in the car, loves going new places and meeting new people, takes treats gently. Hank is a mixed guardian shepherd breed and needs lots of exercise. If you have a big yard (which is needed for Hank), no need for a ball or frisbee, he will sprint around for hours by himself protecting your yard. He doesn't get along with our other male dog (8 year old lab) so we have to separate them. This is extremely difficult logistically with two other dogs and two young kids. His ideal home would have a large fenced yard and no other dogs.
