Meet Duckey Duckey’s story could have broken him, but it didn’t. He was found on the street with eight other dogs, painfully thin and suffering from infected, cropped ears that had been crudely sewn with fishing wire… even a fish hook still embedded. It’s hard to imagine the kind of life he came from but somehow, Duckey chose love anyway. Today, he is one of the most affectionate, joyful, and resilient dogs you’ll ever meet. His past didn’t harden him, it made him softer. Duckey loves everyone. Every person is a new best friend, and every dog (big or small) is a potential playmate. He has this beautiful way of leaning into you, like he’s been waiting his whole life just to feel safe and close. He’s potty trained, learning his basic commands, and figuring out how to be the best boy (he’s already pretty close). The world is still new to him, but he’s soaking it all in and learning fast curious, eager, and full of heart. Duckey would do best in a home with kids 10+ due to his size. He survived something unimaginable… and still wakes up every day ready to love. Now all he needs is someone to love him back for the rest of his life. Finley is a young, male Mastiff mix who was surrendered to our shelter on 1/15/26 because his previous owner said they had no time for him. He is approximately one year old, currently weighs about 75 pounds, and we were told he is a mix of Cane Corso and Bullmastiff. Finley is a sweet guy who can be a bit shy when he first meets someone, but after a proper introduction, he becomes quite outgoing and silly! Because of his initial shyness though, we are currently recommending that he go to a home without children. Finley has been vaccinated, neutered, and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). His neuter surgery has been sponsored!

Meet Mila 🐾 Mila is an adorable 7-month-old puppy who is a unique mix of French Bulldog and Cane Corso and she’s just as cute and special as that combination sounds! Mila came to us about six weeks ago as an owner surrender after a child in the home developed severe respiratory allergies. We wanted to make sure this sweet girl received the care she deserved, so she has been in rescue getting fully vetted and will be spayed soon before heading to her forever home. After being passed around early in life, we want to ensure her next home is truly her last. Mila previously lived outdoors, and we never want that life for her again. She deserves a family who will treat her like the beloved companion she is. She is: • Dog friendly • Kid friendly • A little slow to warm up with new people, but once she trusts you she is incredibly sweet and affectionate At just seven months old, Mila is still very much a puppy and will need a home committed to ongoing training and structure, especially considering her breed mix. With the right guidance, she has all the potential to grow into an amazing companion. Mila will be ready for her forever home in a few weeks once her spay is completed.
