Story
Rene was wandering around the block for several weeks, until he was given the opportunity to enter the home of one of the rescuers. He has been a very protective, loving dog, and from the first moment he was always grateful. He has gained weight and is ready for his new home. He loves to get close to the fence to be petted by neighbors. He is good with cats, although because of his size we do not leave him unsupervised when he is with them, and he lives with most females. He doesn't like to have another male around, he is the alpha and everyone knows it, but with people, he is the biggest baby of them all. He loves treats, lots of love and affection, going for walks and playing with balls and rubber toys. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

Story
Meet Petunia, the 3 year old Bull Terrier/Cane Corso mix whose infectious happiness lights up every room. This spirited canine is looking for her forever home and is overjoyed to be surrounded by her loving foster family. Petunia's perpetual joy is most evident when she sees her family, her tail wagging with boundless enthusiasm. One remarkable aspect of Petunia's story is her remarkable compatibility with other dogs. She effortlessly forges friendships with fellow canines, creating a harmonious atmosphere wherever she goes. Not just limited to her furry companions, Petunia is a natural around children of all ages, displaying a gentle and playful demeanor that makes her an ideal family pet. Despite a challenging start in life, Petunia's indomitable spirit shines through. Discovered in a field as a stray, she bore the scars of past hardships - two dislocated hips and a shattered left back ankle. Remarkably, these injuries had already healed, and Petunia now navigates her world with grace. Although surgery is deemed too risky, her resilience allows her to walk and even run, proving that love and care can overcome adversity. Beyond her physical strength, Petunia is a model of good behavior. House trained and affectionate, she revels in pets, cuddles, and the pure bliss of tummy rubs. Petunia's journey from a field to a loving home is a testament to her resilience, and she serves as an inspiration to all who cross her path. She is house trained, microchipped, fully vaccinated, & spayed. She is being fostered in Seguin, TX and is ready for her new home. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Ozzie is a ~5 year old, 140lb, Cane Corso. He came to us with Queenie, the female Boerboel, and ideally we would like to adopt them out together as a bonded pair! If they are adopted separately, they will need another large calm dog of the opposite sex in the home. Ozzie was an owner surrender and is such a loving boy who desperately wants to be in a home again. The kennel environment has been stressful for him and he greatly relies on Queenie for comfort. He bonds deeply to his people and his dog companion and is very affectionate and sweet. He does well on walks but is very strong, so will require adopters that can handle his size and strength. We are looking for adopters experienced with large breeds. Ozzie has done well around other dogs in our care and we are continuing to socialize and get to know him better. Apply if you are experienced and looking are looking for a giant lovable boy, or duo! Ozzie is a wonderful boy and will make his forever family very happy! Ozzie is neutered, UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Welcome Jacks to CCPAL Rescue. Jacks is an 11-month-old Cane Corso/Australian Heeler. He is very affectionate, knows sit, loves water and can open a fence latch. He is a smart boy. He really is attentive and has had a wonderful foster before entering the shelter. He is wonderful at sitting when you ask him to sit. A carabiner is adequate to block him from flipping the latch of the gate open. This is what we use to secure the gate of his kennel. We don’t think he is the type that wants to run away. He is smart and bored in his kennel is all. He is a great dog and we think he would be a great hiker, walker and companion dog for an outdoor enthusiast. He loves all people and doesn’t seem at all bothered by strangers. He is friendly to everyone. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 and older due to his size. He weighs about 60 pounds and looks to be a good weight. He has a beautiful blocky head and with the harness on he was relatively easy to walk. We are looking for a moderately active family for this dog. We think he is very handsome and is going to appeal to men because of his beautiful head and athletic build. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the east Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. . Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
WE CAN’T LET HER SUFFER ANY LONGER. Carmen was pulled for a foster after someone saw her video at Clayton and knew she needed to be saved. She has an allergy to fleas and ticks, which requires a once a month medication that we will provide. Her hair is now growing back beautifully. She loves pets, belly rubs, leash walks, playing tug of war, and going bye bye. When I picked her up for a checkup, she was wagging her tail, asking for attention, giving my stepdad kisses, and proving she’s a five star car rider. God only knows how badly I want to bring her home, but I am full, more than full. Carmen has been to board and train for temperament training and passed with flying colors, so no training is needed. She does have obedience training. She has had temperament tests with dogs, passing them at daycare and the vet where she showed no issues. She is trusting, sweet, and deserves to be spoiled for the rest of her life because obviously she has never truly been cared for. CRATE trained  If you can give Carmen a foster or forever home, please reach out. Her medication will still be covered even if adopted. To apply for Tiago please visit Northwest Rescue Collective, www.northwestrescuecollective.com Adoption fee $300 Meet Your Future 100-Pound + Goofball This Cane Corso puppy is basically a baby moose with zero awareness of his future size—and we’re here for it. He’s all wiggly legs, oversized paws, and pure, unfiltered joy. If there’s fun to be had, he’s already in the middle of it… probably tripping over his own feet on the way. What he’s like: • Goofy, silly, and full of personality • Confident and always ready to play • Loves people and soaks up attention like it’s his full-time job • Equal parts chaos and cuddles What he’s working on: • Learning basic training like a smart little sponge • Crate trained and doing great • Starting to figure out routines and house manners The important (but still fun) stuff: • Will grow into a BIG boy—think 100+ lbs of love • Needs a home with a large, securely fenced yard (zoomies are not optional) • Will thrive with a family committed to continued training and structure This guy is the definition of “big dog energy in a tiny, clumsy package.” He’s got the confidence, the charm, and just enough dorkiness to keep you laughing daily. If you’re ready for a loyal best friend who will grow into a gentle giant (with a goofy streak that never quits), he’s your guy.

Story
Meet Koda – A Gentle Giant with a Playful Side Koda is a handsome 2.5-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix weighing about 50 pounds, and he is the perfect combination of calm companion and playful best friend. With his gentle nature and easygoing personality, Koda brings a peaceful presence wherever he goes. One of Koda’s favorite activities is spending time with his people. He loves to snuggle, relax nearby, and simply be part of the family. He is fully potty trained, settles nicely into home life, and has wonderful house manners. Koda also walks beautifully on a leash, naturally matching your pace and making daily walks enjoyable and stress-free. While Koda enjoys quiet time, he also has a fun-loving side. He absolutely loves to play and would be thrilled to have another friendly dog in the home to wrestle, romp, and share adventures with. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having a canine companion to help bring out his playful spirit. Koda has also lived successfully with cats and has even been caught playing with their toys, proving just how easygoing and adaptable he can be. He does experience some carsickness on longer trips, but this is easily managed with Dramamine when needed. Because of his gentle and sensitive nature, Koda would thrive in a calm home without small children, where he can enjoy a predictable routine and plenty of companionship. As an Anatolian mix, Koda can be protective of his home and may resource guard his space with unfamiliar visitors. For this reason, he needs an adopter who understands guardian-breed traits and is willing to manage introductions appropriately and advocate for his success. Koda is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He is being fostered in a home in Seguin, Texas. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate dog who loves both snuggles and playtime, Koda may be the perfect addition to your family. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
