Welcome Jacks to CCPAL Rescue. Jacks is an 11-month-old Cane Corso/Australian Heeler. He is very affectionate, knows sit, loves water and can open a fence latch. He is a smart boy. He really is attentive and has had a wonderful foster before entering the shelter. He is wonderful at sitting when you ask him to sit. A carabiner is adequate to block him from flipping the latch of the gate open. This is what we use to secure the gate of his kennel. We don’t think he is the type that wants to run away. He is smart and bored in his kennel is all. He is a great dog and we think he would be a great hiker, walker and companion dog for an outdoor enthusiast. He loves all people and doesn’t seem at all bothered by strangers. He is friendly to everyone. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 and older due to his size. He weighs about 60 pounds and looks to be a good weight. He has a beautiful blocky head and with the harness on he was relatively easy to walk. We are looking for a moderately active family for this dog. We think he is very handsome and is going to appeal to men because of his beautiful head and athletic build. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the east Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. . She's needing a new home where she's not having to be crated most all the time due to work. We've got her vetting done now and she's ready. She loves people and is very friendly with them. She was also good with the dog we brought to do her dog to dog evaluation, until that dog went to her Mom for some petting and she got jealous or protective of her Mom from a dog she didn't know. Unsure which it was. She's lived with other dogs and cat. The dogs were very tiny and she's a big girl so she didn't engage with them much so there wouldn't be any accidental injury to the littles. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Ozzie is a ~5 year old, 140lb, Cane Corso. He came to us with Queenie, the female Boerboel, and ideally we would like to adopt them out together as a bonded pair! If they are adopted separately, they will need another large calm dog of the opposite sex in the home. Ozzie was an owner surrender and is such a loving boy who desperately wants to be in a home again. The kennel environment has been stressful for him and he greatly relies on Queenie for comfort. He bonds deeply to his people and his dog companion and is very affectionate and sweet. He does well on walks but is very strong, so will require adopters that can handle his size and strength. We are looking for adopters experienced with large breeds. Ozzie has done well around other dogs in our care and we are continuing to socialize and get to know him better. Apply if you are experienced and looking are looking for a giant lovable boy, or duo! Ozzie is a wonderful boy and will make his forever family very happy! Ozzie is neutered, UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500.
