Welcome Jacks to CCPAL Rescue. Jacks is an 11-month-old Cane Corso/Australian Heeler. He is very affectionate, knows sit, loves water and can open a fence latch. He is a smart boy. He really is attentive and has had a wonderful foster before entering the shelter. He is wonderful at sitting when you ask him to sit. A carabiner is adequate to block him from flipping the latch of the gate open. This is what we use to secure the gate of his kennel. We don’t think he is the type that wants to run away. He is smart and bored in his kennel is all. He is a great dog and we think he would be a great hiker, walker and companion dog for an outdoor enthusiast. He loves all people and doesn’t seem at all bothered by strangers. He is friendly to everyone. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 and older due to his size. He weighs about 60 pounds and looks to be a good weight. He has a beautiful blocky head and with the harness on he was relatively easy to walk. We are looking for a moderately active family for this dog. We think he is very handsome and is going to appeal to men because of his beautiful head and athletic build. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the east Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. . Welcome Bob to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 5.5 year old Cane Corso/Mastiff mixed dog. He is about 70 pounds and he is very sweet. He is now ready for his forever home. He is an adorable bubble blower and he had the most adorable drool on the video. If you love the Mastiff breed then you know they drool. It is a part of their charm. He will be a loyal boy and he is lower on the energy scale. He was extremely happy to be walking her at the rescue. We have been spending lots of time getting all the adult dogs good on leash. He has a lower coat and not a huge shedding dog. He would be great for an older couple looking for a large and lower energy companion. He would also be good for a family where the man works out of town and he wants to know his kids and wife feel safe with a dog watching the scene. He is healthy and getting vaccines. He is neutered and ready for his forever home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. Hello! My name is Midnight. I was surrendered to RASKC by my previous owner when they felt they could not offer adequate confinement for my escape artist ways. Now I`m looking for a new home! I`m a big, strong pup but, despite my size, I have a soft, mushy and fearful heart. I`m truly a nervous but gentle giant. I`m looking for a family that can help me gain confidence and become more outgoing! Like previously mentioned, I am an escape artist with some astonishing skills! I can open doorknobs and gates and wire crates don`t hold me back at all. I will need secure confinement and help working on relaxing when left to entertain myself.I`ve lived in a home with small children and my previous family said I am friendly with everyone! I have a history of running up to greet strangers and other dogs when I`ve gotten out in the past so I may be okay a doggy friend in my new home. However, I have not gotten a chance to meet any dogs and resident dogs are encouraged to meet me before I come home to stay. I am 94lbs and am considered a large breed dog. I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

Rene was wandering around the block for several weeks, until he was given the opportunity to enter the home of one of the rescuers. He has been a very protective, loving dog, and from the first moment he was always grateful. He has gained weight and is ready for his new home. He loves to get close to the fence to be petted by neighbors. He is good with cats, although because of his size we do not leave him unsupervised when he is with them, and he lives with most females. He doesn't like to have another male around, he is the alpha and everyone knows it, but with people, he is the biggest baby of them all. He loves treats, lots of love and affection, going for walks and playing with balls and rubber toys. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. Freya is a 3 year old big baby. She weights approximately 125lbs and wants nothing but to be loved. She is very clingy and only wants attention and love. She is a big protector and constantly on alert if someone new comes around but she is still a gentle giant towards everyone. She doesn't show any signs of aggression aside from barking but that's the normal for any dog. She gets along great with other dogs, great too the extent of too much excitement. Freya has a big appetite hence her size and is a very low maintenance dog. This animal is being cross-posted for private rehoming by its owner.
