This handsome gent is house-trained and food motivated- he just loves treats! Tiberius knows how to sit and shake, and likely so much more! He is very strong but is an affectionate gentle-giant; he'd leap right into your arms for a hug if he could. After getting treats, his favorite thing is to play with toys. Stuffed toys are his favorite, but mostly so he can shred them up, oops! Sticks are his next favorite to play with. He's looking forward to having some play time with you!HOW TO ADOPT - Please fill out a Dog Adoption Application, available at http://www.seattle.gov/animalshelter/forms.htm and email it to the Animal Care Team at: animalcare@seattle.govand/or visit the shelter during our open hours: Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 1pm to 5pm, no appointment needed.

What my friends at Seattle Humane say about me:· Not only am I 100% Cane Corso, I am also 100% a perfect giant sweetheart!· I enjoy slow walks, chewing on toys, eating out of Kongs, and getting massages.· I am a staff favorite and love to spend time snoozing in someone's office!· I can be surprisingly playful! But most of the time I like to relax.

Story
Foster or forever home needed for this gorgeous boy! Max is an 11 month old, 110-115lb Cane Corso Mastiff. He is a very sweet boy but will need a specific family that can help him build confidence. Max can be nervous in new situations and will need a calm, loving home to help him build trust and confidence. He will need a home outside of the city, in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced yard is ideal. Max has done well with other dogs in our care, since he can be nervous he would do best with a calm and confident dog in his forever home, or as an only dog with continued dog socialization. Since he can be nervous we are looking for a home with adults only, or teenage age +. He is not aggressive, but since he is still building confidence, young kids are not a good fit for him right now. He is not tested with cats. Max is neutered, UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $700.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.   Evelyn is a very sweet, young girl looking for a wonderful home.  Her family should know that she needs continued training and someone who knows her dominant breed.  She has the full Corso personality.  Sensitive and it takes her a bit to get onboard with some things.  She thinks she's a lap dog and lives to be shadowing people or playing with her favorite ball in the yard.  She doesn't always bring it back yet but does often.  She lives to lavish her people with love.  She likes to play with other dogs.  For this breed, we are looking for a very dog savvy person(s) for her so she's set up for the very best success.  She will need good pack leaders in her new home so she's thrive.  We do not know her mix but could be Cane Corso mixed with either boxer, pit bull as the looks of her head resemble those types of dog.    Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 28, 2023, 2:03 pm

Story
Hi, I am Dalila! How to describe myself? That is an easy one for me.I am the perfect mix of a young and sweet dog, who loves to cuddle but also who takes care of its family and friends.I am cute as I can be, but I am loyal and a leader as well. So, look no further if you are looking for a dog, who loves its family -> Here I am and that is what I like, being there for my hooman family and my pack.If you take me for a walk, I am good on the leash and usually calm, but it may happen, that when I see other dogs, I want to know what is going on there. I do not bite and I am not aggressive, but I pull on the leash and want to check out the other dog. I am just always attentive and reactive. With a bit of training and I will be great.I live currently with my foster mom, who rescued me from the streets, and my pack of 8 dogs in La Paz, Mexico. But my bags are packed and I am ready to go on the big exciting trip to my forever home. Please also have a look at my video on Youtube: https://youtu.be/Db_KQQHUDt8If you want my endless love and loyalty, fill out the application and let us have a Zoom call with my foster mom and my adoption coordinator.See you soon, buddy.Yours, DalilaTo get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. * To learn how to become a foster parent to this or any other shelter dog, please follow this link https://bit.ly/SASfosterapply - thanks.Hi, I'm Califa! My favorite things in the world are walkies, mealtime, stuffies, string cheese, and cuddles with my person! I absolutely love being outside and sniffing all the wonderful smells the world has to offer. I bet I would be the best hiking buddy ever! I'm fully housetrained and well-behaved if you need to leave me alone for a few hours, and I will dance and wiggle and smile in excitement when you return.I'm a very good boy during the work day and can entertain myself by napping or playing with my stuffies, but when you're done, I sure would love if you'd maybe throw my toys for me a bit, or play some tug o'war with me! I'm very good at snoozing calmly and snuggling as well because I love belly rubs and ear scritches and pets in general. I make it very easy for people to load these on me because I am oh-so-cute and I have the softest, silkiest coat ever!I'm on social media too!
