Story
Allow me to introduce you to the one and only Belen! This furry little angel is not just your average rescue dog, oh no! She is the ultimate social butterfly, fluttering around with the grace of a delicate butterfly. Her days are filled with an insatiable desire to play and hang out with her foster sisters, making her the life of the party. And let me tell you, she's not just a dog lover, but a cat lover too! Belen's journey began on a gloomy, rainy day in the streets of Houston. She was lost and alone, but fate had a different plan for her. Once she found her way to safety, it didn't take long for her to decompress and reveal her true colors. Her beautiful, loving personality shone through like a ray of sunshine. This little superstar is definitely a team player and thrives in a home with another furry friend by her side. She's got all the manners down - housebroken, leash and crate trained like a pro! It's like she's been taking lessons from the best canine instructors out there. Now, here's the exciting part! We have special transports leaving Houston every two weeks, heading towards the picturesque Pacific Northwest with a delightful pit stop in Bellingham, Washington . This means our lovely Canadian residents can make the trip and pick up Belen, giving her the forever home she deserves. How amazing is that? If you're interested in learning more about Belen or want to submit an adoption application, fear not! Simply visit our website at www.springbranchrescue.org . We've got all the information you need right at your fingertips. So don't keep this precious gem waiting, take a leap of faith and give Belen the loving home she's been dreaming of! received.  If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you are able to see our posts. Almost all our animals traveling have been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful.  Please take a look at our adopters reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue.   Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. ##1952068##

Hi my name is Mostaza, That means mustard in Spanish. I am not sure why my foster mom gave me that name but maybe because I am a little bit spicy and a little bit sweet.I have had my share of health problems since I was rescued but I recovered nicely and now I am ready to meet my forever family. I am a curious and fairly active puppy. Since my surgery to remove the head of my femur I have been taking things slowly to be sure I am fully healed. Now I am sooo looking forward to a great run. Story
Zoey/princess, came to us 1.5 years ago malnourished, timid & had to learn her place in the pack. She’s healthy & vibrant now, & extremely sweet! Extra foster time loving/training well spent. It’s difficult to let her go to help another foster. Incredible w/ our kids & our 2 dogs, not recommended for dog parks or meet & greets w/ any aggressive dogs. She is very calm, listens well inside.. she needs lots of exercise on leash or in a tall fenced yard. Loves fetch! Dainty/polite temperament, she’ll stand & look at you until she’s invited up to the couch. Huge snuggler! Zoey gravitates towards kids. Zoey knows sit, lay down & will come when called inside the home & in a fenced area. She’s not a big fan of car rides but will hop in the car when asked. Zoey comes w/ her thunder jacket for fireworks, her favorite bones & blanket that smells like our home to help her adjust to yours! Sweet Zoey is a difficult foster to let go of. You will fall in love easily with this sweet girl.
