Story
i adopted from someone on Nextdoor, he was good but my fiancé is pregnant and lately he has been a real pain to her and i cannot be home to help, he is house trained for the most part but he has occasional accidents with some separation anxiety. overall an amazing dog, when i first got him i was told he’s black lab and german shepherd mix but his looks lead me to believe he is a carolina dog maybe? i don’t have the facilities and finances to keep him medically up to date, and with the behavior issues, he was taken from his bonded sister, so i think in a house of no kids, and someone who can be there for him more often, would be so much better for him

Story
My husband and I adopted Archer at a shelter, we were told that he was found as a stray. He’s a super sweet boy when he warms up to you. He’s 3 years old, and loves to be outside and be active, he’s also can be super chill too, easily adaptable. He can be a bit of a grump some times but he’ll let you know when he’s not in the mood. Overall he’s one of the sweetest, most funniest dogs you can have!

Happy, incredibly affectionate and playful Carolina Dog/Retriever/Terrier/mixed breed dog looking for a nice family with another dog or can be only dog! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or  https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Dog Fiona is a 8 mos old 26  lb Carolina Dog/Retriever/Terrier/mixed breed dog (what Siri says). This gal was abandoned by her owners when it was 20 degrees.  She likes children, dogs her size and okay with dog tolerant cats.  She will play with cats like they are dogs, so probably not cat house best.  She loves walks and car rides.  Loves hanging with her people on the couch or in your chair.  Potty trained, leash trained and crate trained. She will do best in a home with another low to medium energy dog her size.  She is in a foster home with other dogs.    L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.February 25, 2025, 2:24 pm

Story
Meet Lavender! This absolute cutie is ready to bloom in her forever home! Lavender is a 6-month-old, 18-pound pup who looks like a Carolina Dog mix, though she’s on the smaller side and likely has a fun mix of breeds in her. She’s super friendly, playful, and adores people—she soaks up all the attention she can get! Lavender gets along great with other dogs but prefers to enjoy her meals solo. We pulled her from a shelter just in time, and now she’s looking for a loving family to call her own.If you’re looking for a sweet, happy pup who’s ready for fun and cuddles, Lavender is your girl!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.April 22, 2025, 5:08 am

Story
Toby loves to be highly active though he can also relax with his family. He loves his K9 buddies and we feel he'd be happiest in a home with another active dog/ dogs. He's still a young dog and needs love and guidance from his humans whom he wants to please. Toby would probably love to be with older children and have a big secure backyard where he can romp and play with with his family and k9 sibling/ siblings. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He can travel anywhere in the US and Canada. ##1501938##

Story
BELLA had a home and her family surrendered her to a rescue in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Juno's Den and Huellitas Diferentes decided to help her find a home in the PNW. She is an extremely shy pup initially who needs an experienced handler and someone knowledgeable about her breed. She gets along well with most dogs, but can be selective at times. Therefore, she will do better as an only dog. She is very affectionate and cuddly. Loves to play fetch and run. Bella will do best with an active, all adult family, and a fully fenced yard. She is housebroken and crate trained. She doesn't have separation anxiety but prefers to be around her people. ##2122004##
