People say I look like a little teddy bear, with my soft brown fur and round eyes that are always full of curiosity. I’m small, sweet, and full of quiet charm. You might never guess it from my gentle looks, but I’ve already been through a lot in my short life. I was once on a euthanasia list… but I was saved just in time. Since then, I’ve only known shelter life. A real home? I’ve never had one. But I’m hoping that’s about to change—with you. Because I’ve never lived in a house, I haven’t learned all the rules yet—especially when it comes to potty training. I’m not used to going inside or outside properly, so I’ll need your help learning a routine from scratch. If you gently guide me to the same spot after meals, naps, and playtime—and reward me with yummy treats when I get it right—I’ll catch on quickly. If I make mistakes, please don’t scold me. Just quietly clean up and help me try again. I really want to learn! At first, I might be a little unsure around new people. I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Korea — a place where my story almost ended before it truly began. But I got a second chance, and now I’m living safely in a foster home in Toronto, hoping the next part of my journey leads me straight into your arms. I love people. Really, truly love them. Even when I meet someone for the first time, I open my heart right away — wagging my tail, smiling, and gently asking for affection. I’m the type who likes to stay close, make eye contact, and share warm moments of connection. People say I have a very soft, loving soul. On walks, I get a little excited and may pull on the leash, but I’m practicing and getting better every day. I adjust quickly to new places and sounds, so everyday life with me is easy and fun. I also get along well with other dogs. I do have one thing to keep in mind: when I see small animals like cats or birds, my curiosity kicks in and I want to chase them.
