Story
Meet Lavender! This absolute cutie is ready to bloom in her forever home! Lavender is a 6-month-old, 18-pound pup who looks like a Carolina Dog mix, though she’s on the smaller side and likely has a fun mix of breeds in her. She’s super friendly, playful, and adores people—she soaks up all the attention she can get! Lavender gets along great with other dogs but prefers to enjoy her meals solo. We pulled her from a shelter just in time, and now she’s looking for a loving family to call her own.If you’re looking for a sweet, happy pup who’s ready for fun and cuddles, Lavender is your girl!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.May 5, 2025, 11:29 am

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Say hello to Tennyson! Tennyson is a 2.5-year-old, 50 LB Carolina dog who is so excited to find his forever home! Tennyson is an extremely friendly and loving dog with a lot of personality! He’s got an affectionate nature, and his amazing eyes will win you over in an instant! He is also eager to please his handler and loves anything having to do with being with his people and playing with other dogs. Tennyson LOVES other dogs, so having a canine companion in the home would help him build confidence and give him a buddy to romp around with as he is VERY playful and still thinks he’s a puppy with lots of playful energy to share! Tennyson can be shy in new situations and would do best in a standalone home with a fully fenced yard for him to run and play. No apartment or busy city life for him. He walks amazing on leash and likes to stay close to his handler as well. If you are looking for a friendly and loveable boy to join your family, come meet Tennyson! He’s ready to steal your heart and will be a very loyal companion! Tennyson is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

Story
Tawny is a delightful Carolina Dog mix with a heart full of love and an adventurous spirit. There’s nothing she enjoys more than being with her family, making her the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal and affectionate pup. Whether she’s lounging in the sun, playing in the yard, or going on an outdoor adventure, Tawny is always happiest when she’s by your side. This sweet girl rides well in the car and is fantastic on a leash, making her an excellent travel and walking buddy. She absolutely loves water, so if you enjoy hiking, camping, or trips to the lake, Tawny will be right there, ready to join in on the fun. She gets along wonderfully with all dogs, making her a great addition to a multi-dog household. She would fit right in with a dog that wants to play. She does have a habit of jumping when excited, so a home without toddlers would be best. She has met cats and hasn't tried to chase. Tawny is very affectionate and thrives on attention and affection. She is still working on her potty training but is making great progress in her foster home. With consistency and patience, she will continue to improve. She is content in a kennel but prefers to be around her family on the couch or bed! Currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, Tawny is looking for a forever home where she can be part of an active and loving family. Her adoption fee is $250 for in-state adopters and an additional $300 for out-of-state transport. If you’re searching for a playful, adventurous, and affectionate companion, Tawny is ready to be your best friend! To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Kira is a phenomenal dog. We got her as a puppy (6-9 mths) in Alexandria, VA. She is a rescue dog. Kira is currently five years young and loves to be active and play fetch. She is energetic, loves for someone to throw the ball, and LOVES people and kids. She is absolutely fantastic with kids and loves getting rubs from strangers. If she can run freely and play, that is what she lives for. Kira has been an absolute blessing to us and unfortunately, we are looking to rehome her as we will be moving overseas and cannot support keeping her with us. We would love to see her go to a family or couple that would give her lots of attention. It pains me to have to rehome her but it would make our hearts happy knowing she is getting the love she deserves instead of going to a shelter (again). Thank you for your time and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions/concerns.

Snowby's nickname is Snowball. He does a little twirl when going out for a walk. He gets along with most dogs so proper introduction is a must. He is very loyal and loving. He loves to run around with his doggie friends. He loves to sleep next his person(s). He would be be best suited to a household without young children. He is a great walking and car companion. He likes to be part of whatever activity is happening. He is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He is ideal for house or apartment living due to his smaller size. He can travel anywhere in the US and Canada. ##1499385##

My husband and I adopted Archer at a shelter, we were told that he was found as a stray. He’s a super sweet boy when he warms up to you. He’s 3 years old, and loves to be outside and be active, he’s also can be super chill too, easily adaptable. He can be a bit of a grump some times but he’ll let you know when he’s not in the mood. Overall he’s one of the sweetest, most funniest dogs you can have!
