Story
Joshua found under a tree during a thunderstorm. Joshua was almost unresponsive and needed immediate medical care. Early in life, this poor little guy has struggled with maintaining his weight and staying hydrated. While in rescue, he was diagnosed with seizure disorder, but happily, he has responded brilliantly to his daily anti-seizure medication and hasn’t had a seizure since his medication was started in summer 2024. Joshua is a quirky lil guy. When overstimulated or stressed, he becomes overwhelmed and quickly seeks food as a way to sooth his anxiety (don’t we all?). He has kitty OCD, which makes him highly focused on daily routines and habits. But, as Joshy has gotten older, his quirks have smoothed out a bit. These days, he will join you on the couch in the evenings for some pets and company, he will play with a teaser toy, and he even gives lip kisses - but sometimes he misses. But given all of that, Joshua is simply the sweetest lil guy and everyone absolutely adores him. He is wonderful with dogs (and cats), of any temperament, because he really doesn’t pay any attention to anything except his food. Joshua is a long-haired tuxedo.

Story
Little Monica was wandering alone, as a tiny little kitten, around an apartment complex. She was very scared and extremely malnourished. She is semi-feral and initially was very cautious around humans, but she gets more and more comfortable and affectionate with us with each day. She is a Churu thief - she loves these little creamy treats and will do practically anything for them. Being with other kittens and cats is calming and reassuring for her. She would do well in a house with another cat for support. Monica is unique in that she is a bobtail (Manx)

Story
Paulie came into rescue along with her 4 siblings. Paulie is definitely the little sister of the group, some might call her the runt, sure that works too. As the delicate little baby sister, Paulie has trouble keeping weight on, so her foster mom sees to it that she gets to the front of the bowl at mealtimes. She has been thriving with that extra love and attention. With that said, Paulie is most certainly her foster mom’s favorite (Shhh, don’t tell the others). Paulie is a sweet, playful, classic dark-haired tabby. She has a beautiful, marbled pattern to her fur, making her even more special.

Story
Boaz is it! He has the most amazing story. He was found by a friend of our rescue as she was driving down a busy street. A small kitten ran across the road and then sat on the side of the road, just looking at her as she passed. She had to stop and when she did, Boaz came running up to her and melted in her arms. He stayed there the rest of the night, snuggling, purring, nuzzling her and simply being the friendliest creature she ever met. He acted like a hand-raised bottle baby rather than a stray. Boaz was brought into rescue the same day and has been the same goofy, playful, affectionate, clever little boy as he was the first day he was saved from the busy road. Boaz personality is BANK! He is quite honestly one of the most personable, friendly, entertaining kittens our rescue has ever seen. This is the one, trust me!

Story
Priscilla came into rescue along with her 4 siblings at only 4 weeks old. Although she and her sibs drew a short straw in the game of life, it hasn’t stopped her from letting her best side SHINE. Priscilla is extremely playful and affectionate. She loves her twin sister, Patricia and also adores human contact, kisses and lov’ns. Priscilla is a classic short-haired brown/white tabby
