Story
Sammy is 3 years old. She is currently being fostered while looking for a permanent home. She was surrendered by her previous owner. Sammy adores playing with all kinds of toys, but needs further reinforcement in disassociating hands with play. She is quite territorial and thus not well suited for cohabitation with children or other cats. She would be the happiest in a home all to herself. She loves to be scratched on the head and chin. Often times she will seek you out to be in the same space as you. She prefers scratching posts over furniture if provided. Overall, Sammy is a lovely cat looking to be the primary pet of someone with experience of grooming longer hair.

Story
Sauli is a beautiful green eyed girl. She is maybe 3 years old. She is friendly, playful, a total sweetheart with her people. Sauli was found abandoned after a homeless camp moved on in Anchorage. She found a warehouse area to take shelter in and gradually she was noticed by the workers who were kind to her, gave her food and allowed her to remain sheltered. And then they realized that she was friendly and could be pet. She was, in fact, desperate for love and affection. She loves to be pet, make biscuits and purr her little heart out while she is getting attention. She's so happy to be in a home with loving people. She seems fine with other nice cats. We don't know about dogs. But Sauli is ready to have a real home and family who won't move away and leave her and where she will be loved forever. In Wasilla. Call or text 907 980-8898

Story
Duke the 5-year-old retired Tom cat is ready to start a new chapter of his life with a family of his own. He spent most of his life outside as the neighborhood Tom cat by the north Anchorage Costco. Caring neighbors were letting him come inside to warm up and eat as he pleased. One day he showed up to one of these houses with a terrible injury and we became involved. Poor Duke had a bad hernia that had been cut open. He was taken to the vet immediately and had surgery to get him better. It’s taken a while for the pain to subside and he doesn’t like when anyone touches around that area. Despite his rough past, Duke is doing great learning how to become a family cat again. In his foster home, he has discovered that he loves to play! His favorite toys are his squeaky mouse and catnip fish. If you would want to play with him, that could be fun. But he doesn't require entertainment. He’s great at doing his own thing, but will come running when called. And he does have a special weakness for wet food; give him some and he will be your best friend. He enjoys having other cats around, but is not a fan of dogs. He’s very kind towards the toddler in his foster home and loving to the adults. Duke has lived most of his life outside and still wants to be able to go out in nice weather and enjoy the lovely natural world. But having a real home and family where he has some personal space and have outside too would be his ultimate dream. He needs someone who can be patient with him while he’s still learning his new routine and trusting that you will love him forever. If your interested in this big beautiful boy, please call 907-980-8898 He's in Wasilla.

Story
Spice! Little soft 6 month old boy, he is sweet and gentle and so lovable. Spice came from a colony of cats and he is ready to get along with any feline who is nice to him. He's still just a kitten so he does love to play and romp around once he's used to new people and a new place. And he loves to get pets and scritches. This darling little guy is going to be the very best little buddy for a loving family. He will need a cat friend in his new home who will love him. He does have siblings who would be instant friends if you are interested in adopting two. He is also tolerant of gentle dogs. And since he has grown up with the freedom to be outside, he will need an indoor/outdoor home situation. He's in Wasilla. Call or text 720-563-7141

Story
Meet Neko, a delightful feline with chubby cheeks and adorable mismatched ears, giving him an irresistibly cute and amusing appearance. Instead of meowing, he communicates with adorable soft hums and trilling sounds, eagerly seeking attention. Neko is very social and quickly befriends everyone he meets and adores being pampered with pets and scratches. Playful by nature, he relishes kicker toys and catnip mice, and his love for Churu treats knows no bounds. Neko is a perfect companion for both humans and feline friends, displaying excellent litter box habits and harmonious cohabitation with his cat companion. He lived the majority of his life as an outdoor cat with about 40 other kitties. He was so friendly and ready to be rescued, that instead of having to be trapped like his siblings, he walked right into the kennel! While he’s been loving living inside and not having to worry about food, he does still want to go outside to explore. He has to have another cat in his new home. He LOVES other cats and will be sad without a friend. He is a young adult, we think about 2-3 years old. For more information, text 720-563-7141. He is in Anchorage.

Story
Daisy Mae is the sweetest girl! She is shy at first but as soon as she is comfortable with her people, she is the biggest cuddle bug! She runs to you when her name is called but loves to have little hiding places when she wants some alone time. If she’s not chirping for pets, she’s batting her toy around or exploring the world at her own pace. Being in a calm household is a must for Daisy. She doesn’t like loud noises. She would love a home with a mellow and friendly cat or dog, but would thrive on her own if you’re a homebody. She willl need a place to go outside with her family when she wants to to check out the beautiful Alaska summer. Daisy Mae is about 6 years old and ready to be someone's most special blue-eyed sweetheart. In Anchorage. Call 907 980-8898
