Story
This dapper young man of around 2 years of age is Armello. His tuxedo is always sharp and in style! He has light green eyes and he sure knows how to make you feel he only has eyes for YOU! Armello loves to be pet, have head scritches and looks for places in the sun to stretch out. Nice big doggos are his friends, and cats that will not try to boss him around are best. This handsome fella might like it best if he is the only adult male cat in the home. He came to us as a colony cat and has adjusted well to the kindness of humans and the warmth of a bed and the comfort of knowing he doesn’t have to hunt or fight for his next meal. He hasn’t met a human he doesn’t like but has only had experience with adults and quieter teens. He is fixed, chipped, vaxed (rabies included), and given mite/worm treatment. He will like a kitty friend in the home (see above), safe access to sunshine, and the ability to chase moths. Located in Sterling. Call 907 953-0333 ARMELLOW IS SPONSORED BY KACI GILHAM; HE MAY BE ADOPTED TO A LOVING FAMILY FOR $40!

Story
Meet Buffy! This sweet 7-month-old tortoiseshell girl is as beautiful as she is gentle. Buffy loves getting pets, enjoys tasty treats, and has a playful side when she’s spending time with her brothers. She’s also comfortable around both big dogs and other cats. Buffy must have a kitty friend in her new home unless she is adopted with one or both 😊 of her brothers (Spike and Xander) Because Buffy had a difficult start to life, she can be shy when meeting new people. But with a little patience, a calm environment, and a few treats, her loving personality quickly shines through. Once she feels safe, Buffy becomes an affectionate, sweet companion who enjoys attention and companionship. Buffy would do best in a home with adults or older children who can give her the time and understanding she needs to settle in and build confidence. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving kitty who just needs a chance to blossom, Buffy could be the perfect match for your family. Buffy will need a safe fun yard to feel the grass on her feet and to chase away those pesky mosquitoes once he is settled and very comfortable with his new family. She is in Wasilla. Story
Ruby is, like her name, a little jewel. She is a sweet petite girl who looks like a kitten (even though she’s not). She enjoys pets, lap time, and snuggling in bed. She affectionate and loves to be pet. Not a fan of being picked up, but cuddles are the best. She loves to play with a wand, cat toys, or most anything else and finds anything crinkly particularly irresistible. She would be a great playmate for a fun kitty friend and will need a cat buddy in her new home. Ruby has spent quite a bit of time outside and she will need a yard or outside area where she can wander around and explore all the wonders of nature in summer. Story
Terracotta and Sparrow are the perfectly matched yin yang of the cat world. Terra is sweet, outgoing, curious, playful and snuggly. Sparrow is quiet, reclusive, introverted, and not particularly fond of snuggles or pets. Although these two seem like complete opposites, when they found each other in their foster home, they became best friends and are now looking for a forever home together. Terra came into foster from a cat overpopulation situation; he was skinny, scared, and matted mess. Terra's nickname early on was "little snail" because he would curl into a tight little ball when he saw people or was petted by someone. However, with a full belly, and gentle love, he uncurled from his snail shell and started asking for love and attention. Now he loves being petted and getting snuggles. Sparrow came to foster as a tiny, sick kitten who lost one of her eyes to an infection. It was a tough start in life. But now, even as she is feeling healthy and happy being in a loving home, she has no interest in snuggling or being friends with people. Nor was she interested in other cats--it seemed like she had shut the world out-- until she met Terracotta! It was love at first sight! Now, even though we know that Terra could easily get a loving family and Sparrow could be sent to a barn home, we want these two to have a chance to be adopted together. Terra will be your perfect loving house cat, and Sparrow will be his devoted friend who will be fine in a home as long as she has her beloved Terra. Sparrow doesn't have anything against people; she's not aggressive or angry, she doesn't hiss or swat, and she will tolerate a little bit of love from her people but it's just not really her thing. Terracotta has so much love to give, to his forever family and his forever friend, he will easily give you the love of two cats. And so they make the purrfect pair! Not recommended for homes with small children, but both kitties do well with nice chill dogs and they are totally fine with other cats. They will need a nice safe yard to enjoy some summer sunshine once they are feeling very comfortable in their new home. They are in Wasilla. Please call 907-350-8089.

Story
Soft fluffy Stasha! She loves for her person to pet her. It's her happy time when the house if quiet and she is hanging out with the human who is kind and loving to her. She also loves to sleep on the bed with the kind human or humans who she is so ready to devote her life to. Stash started out without a person to love and care for her and now that she has experienced that, it's her dream to have it forever. And she will purr and nestle into you to show you how much that means. She will also play like a crazy kitty with the string. But the feather toy is her favorite and she has some great jumps to show off. She is young, about a year old, and the joy of youth shows! Stasha will do best in a home without chaos; no screaming, racing through the house or she will hide under the bed. Like a normal cat she is unlikely to walk right up to strangers and say hello. But a slow introduction will allow her to get used to the house sounds and activity and then blend right in with the easy pace of the home and family. She does love other cats and will be much happier with a cat friend to play with while her humans are at work. She will also love a yard where she can go out with her people to enjoy the outside. And now the outside will not just be a place to avoid scary situations, but a wonder of fun and comfort with the people who will be her loving people forever. She's in Anchorage and ready to take the next step to being the best little family cat ever! Call 907 980-8898.
