Story
Meet Susu! Susu is a 5-month-old kitten with a soft black coat, bright curious eyes, and a gentle little soul. She’s very playful and loves chasing toys, pouncing on anything that crinkles, and showing off her kitten zoomies. Once she gets going, her silly side really shines. Susu is still a bit shy at first and may take a little time to feel comfortable in a new environment, but with patience and kindness she opens up beautifully. She does best when allowed to approach on her own terms and will reward you with sweet moments, quiet companionship, and growing trust. She would thrive in a calm home that understands shy kittens and is willing to let her confidence bloom. She does great with nice dogs and she loves other cats so she will need to have a kitty friend in her new home to share all that kitten’s silliness and energy with. She will be fine with older kids who aren’t too rambunctious and can be petted when she is curled up sleeping. She will need a safe fun yard to enjoy the summer days and all that sunshine! If you’re looking for a playful kitten with a gentle heart and are excited to watch her personality blossom, Susu might be the perfect match for you. She is in Wasilla. Please call 907-350-8089.

Story
Penny is a surprise. A wonderful happy surprise. She is one of those unusual senior cats who not only endures the company of nice children. But she really enjoys their company. Repeat--nice children. Those quiet, gentle kids who play with her in an easy loving way, who cuddle her when she is ready for cuddles, and who let her nap when it's time to nap. She loves to share company with nice kids and seems to miss them when they are away. Penny is a lovely super calm girl with a black and white coat and striking white whiskers. She's about 10 years old. She loves her people big and little but she prefers to be the only cat in the house. She's happy to give you all the sweet cat attention you would like so that other furry creatures are not needed. She would be the best family cat for a home with kind, gentle kids. And a yard where she can go outside in the summer to walk in the green grass would be perfect. In Homer but a ride north is possible. Call 907 980-8898 PENNY HAS BEEN SPONSORED BY BETSY MCKITRICK; SHE MAY BE ADOPTED TO A LOVING FAMILY FOR $40!

Story
Sycamore 🌿 He's a handsome charismatic orange tiger. He has quite the story and an even bigger personality to match. He was found in a feral colony in Kenai, but it was immediately clear he didn’t belong there. Friendly, confident, and full of charm, Sycamore was likely lost or sadly dumped. When he was rescued, he had signs of having been attacked, including bite wounds on his ear and leg. Thankfully, after a vet visit and some care, he healed up beautifully and hasn’t let it dim his spirit one bit. This handsome guy is full of life. Sycamore is incredibly talkative (he will absolutely hold full conversations with you), playful, and carries himself with a certain swagger that makes him unforgettable. He loves attention and isn’t shy about asking for it. He wants to be involved in everything you’re doing. He is rowdy and very busy. But at night, he turns into a total sweetheart, happily purring and snuggling up close. Sycamore has a more dominant personality, but he respects the current “alpha” in his foster home. He can live with dogs, as long as they understand boundaries and give him space when he asks for it. Sycamore has to have outdoor access. This is not optional for him. He will cry, beg, and protest loudly at the door if he can’t go outside. His foster currently takes him out on a leash and harness, but he’s not a fan. Sycamore is looking for a home with a safe, enclosed yard or a rural setting where he can explore freely and safely. (Seriously, he will keep you very accountable on this 😅.) Because Sycamore plays hard and can get a little rough with claws and teeth sometimes, he would do best in a home with older kids or adults who understand cat behavior and can redirect his energy appropriately. Sycamore is estimated to be around 2–3 years old, a young adult with lots of love, personality, and adventure to offer. He’s looking for someone who appreciates a bold, affectionate cat and can give him the environment he truly needs to thrive. If you are looking for a pair, he would love to go to a home with his foster sister who is also available, Cindy Crawford. Located in Anchorage, Text 720-563-7141 to learn more.

Story
He's the sweetest! He loves his people. Phantom is a handsome young fellow almost a year old. He has the most interesting coloration with tigery patches over his white coat. He's unique! He is a great little buddy for other nice cats and will need to have a fun friend in his new home. He has a friend he hangs out with in his foster home, Turvy, and he'd be delighted to bring him along to his new home. Or a new friend in his new family. But he loves the companionship and is happy to share the fun and the joy of being a loved kitty. He is tolerant of mellow dogs but they are not his favorite and he would not do well with a rowdy in-your-face canine. Phantom is young and curious and he will need a safe yard where he can go outside with his family and his cat friend and play to his heart's delight in the sun. In Anchorage. Call 907 980-8898

Story
Hello, my name is Sammie, and I am currently accepting applications for a human who meets my very high standards… I am royalty after all! 👑 Let’s get a few things straight: I am not a lap cat, I am a couch warmer. I will sit near you, judge you, and graciously allow you to exist in my presence. Please do not attempt to pick me up. That is a bold and incorrect decision. Also, do not pet me without permission. I will let you know when it’s time. (Hint: it will usually be when you are busy doing something else… or giving attention to another cat. That is unacceptable, and I will intervene immediately.) I enjoy the company of other cats and can vibe with friendly dogs. Humans, however… are a work in progress. I am currently training them to understand my likes, dislikes, and overall superiority. Progress is slow, but I remain hopeful. If you are patient, respectful, and willing to be gently managed by a small, opinionated creature, I may allow you the honor of being my human. Apply within. I’ll be on the couch. In Soldotna. Call 907 953-0333

Story
This dapper young man of around 2 years of age is Armello. His tuxedo is always sharp and in style! He has light green eyes and he sure knows how to make you feel he only has eyes for YOU! Armello loves to be pet, have head scritches and looks for places in the sun to stretch out. Nice big doggos are his friends, and cats that will not try to boss him around are best. This handsome fella might like it best if he is the only adult male cat in the home. He came to us as a colony cat and has adjusted well to the kindness of humans and the warmth of a bed and the comfort of knowing he doesn’t have to hunt or fight for his next meal. He hasn’t met a human he doesn’t like but has only had experience with adults and quieter teens. He is fixed, chipped, vaxed (rabies included), and given mite/worm treatment. He will like a kitty friend in the home (see above), safe access to sunshine, and the ability to chase moths. Located in Sterling. Call 907 953-0333
