Introducing Emma! She's a smart little girl. She even knows her name! And she has one of the nicest purrs ever. Emma is a demure beautiful kitten with a pristine white coat. She sports a coordinating hat and a full dark tail. At 6 months old, Emma is really coming into her own. She loves the other cats and has even wanted to take a closer look at the dog (on the other side of the gate). A nice calm dog would be okay with her and of course she must have a friendly, playful kitty friend in her new home. Older children who aren’t rambunctious would be fine too. Penny is a surprise. A wonderful happy surprise. She is one of those unusual senior cats who not only endures the company of nice children. But she really enjoys their company. Repeat--nice children. Those quiet, gentle kids who play with her in an easy loving way, who cuddle her when she is ready for cuddles, and who let her nap when it's time to nap. She loves to share company with nice kids and seems to miss them when they are away. Penny is a lovely super calm girl with a black and white coat and striking white whiskers. She's about 10 years old. She loves her people big and little but she prefers to be the only cat in the house. Arden is a total sweetheart! This 5-year-old big Lynx Point Balinese Mix boy has been well-taken care of and is well-socialized. He is comfortable being around new people though he does not like being around small children. He is used to being around other cats and friendly dogs, and he seems generally to do fine. But he does not like to be bossed around so he would also be great as the only cat. Though Arden loves being pet and being in the company of humans, he lives for being outside! Rain, snow and cold don’t deter him! He loves exploring and going on adventures. In order for Arden to find the right family he requires safe access to the outdoors. Arden believes ideally that he would have a cat door where he can come and go as he pleases. This great big beautiful blue-eyed guy is ready for a home where his family will appreciate his eagerness to guard the homestead, and all is well on the premises. This dapper young man of around 2 years of age is Armello. His tuxedo is always sharp and in style! He has light green eyes and he sure knows how to make you feel he only has eyes for YOU! Armello loves to be pet, have head scritches and looks for places in the sun to stretch out. Nice big doggos are his friends, and cats that will not try to boss him around are best. This handsome fella might like it best if he is the only adult male cat in the home. He came to us as a colony cat and has adjusted well to the kindness of humans and the warmth of a bed and the comfort of knowing he doesn’t have to hunt or fight for his next meal. He hasn’t met a human he doesn’t like but has only had experience with adults and quieter teens. He is fixed, chipped, vaxed (rabies included), and given mite/worm treatment. He will like a kitty friend in the home (see above), safe access to sunshine, and the ability to chase moths. Located in Sterling.
