Not yet two years old, she will play and play, and then after tiring herself with so much fun, she enjoys curling up with you for a deep, cozy snooze. Calypso is very communicative and likes to talk to you about all sorts of things. She always greets you with a friendly stretch and happy chirp or meow. Calypso loves gazing out of windows, and running through cat tunnels. She can self-entertain when you are busy, yet she adores interacting with her human(s). Cat wand and dancer toys are Calypso’s favorites! She also loves ping pong balls which she chases throughout the room. Calypso is a uniquely gorgeous Calico Tuxedo with golden eyes, an exotic profile, and lots of black eyeliner that sometimes looks like she is a cute masked lady! She has an exuberant spirit and outsize personality! Gorgeous, energetic Calypso will love a home that appreciates and respects Calico uniqueness and opinions, and will enjoy her fun and always interesting Calico spirit! She will do very well as a solo cat or with an easygoing kitty she can trust. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, defleaed, and tested FeLV negative. Calypso is being fostered in Ventura. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Luna! When Luna found her way to CCR, she so pregnant she looked about to pop! In fact, the very next day she gave birth in her foster mom's bathroom! That was back in May, and since then Luna has settled down nicely and really shown us her super sweet personality. We don't know exactly how old Luna is, but her playfulness has us believing she may still basically be a kitten herself. She is shy at first but once she knows you becomes very affectionate. Luna is okay with other cats, so long as they are also "cat friendly," as she has not at all shown to be dominant and can easily be bullied by rougher cats. Two of Luna's three kittens have found their forever homes already, we'd love to see her find the perfect family to love her forever. _____________________________________________________________ If you'd like to meet any of our adoptable kitties, please submit an application today. We took in a pregnant stray mama and have been trying to find homes for her babies! We’ve successfully found homes for four out of her six babies and we hope Panther will be next! He’s 8 months, very sweet and doesn’t bite or scratch. He’s very good with other cats and with dogs! He loves to be pet on the head and likes to snuggle! He likes sleeping and playing with his toys.

This little guy and his sister were trapped in a field in Bakersfield and brought to Ventura to be fostered. He is your typical orange and white cat with energy and intelligence. At 6 months, he is ready for his forever home. A lap for a good nap, food, and toys are his jam. He is fixed, dewormed, treated for fleas, and has had his first round of shots.
