Story
I was at the Camarillo shelter but Cassie’s Cats had room for me so now I get to live in their lounge. I hope my new person will find me here soon so I can get back to lounging on the sofa and sleeping with my person. I like to cuddle in laps and purr. I also like to be brushed. Please come meet me! Princess was surrendered to VCAS after her owner passed away and is an extremely affectionate kitty. Princess had corrective surgery for entropion – a condition where a cat’s eyelids roll inward and cause irritation. Thanks to the amazing work of the VCAS vet’s office, Princess’s eyes are now pain free and will continue to clear up! We had a full vet exam done including blood work and Princess is in good health. She had a dental cleaning on February 17th that included 3 tooth extractions. She healed well from that. She seems to do best with cats who can live and let live. She hisses at cats who get right into her space but does great living in parallel with other mellow cats. Since coming to Cassie’s Cats Princess has been receiving monthly Solensia injections at our vet’s office to help with arthritis pain. Any future adopter will need to be able and willing to continue these as needed for Princess’ well-being and we will add that as an addendum to her adoption agreement. Princess can sometimes be picky about her food and her adopter should be willing to keep a few wet foods on hand so that she always has something that appeals to her. Her adopter will also need to be willing to sit with Princess while she eats if that is what she needs. Sometimes she eats better when she has company. Our ideal adopter for her is someone who will let Princess lead the way – cuddle when she wants it, leave her be when she wants her space, feed her the foods she prefers, change up the food when necessary, take her to the vet for her monthly arthritis relief.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Placido can be a shy and quiet boy when he's in an unfamiliar place like the adoption, however in his foster home, Placido has become a super sweet boy with a big purr always ready. One of his favorite activities is wrestling with his brothers, and at just under a year old, the three of them have become typical, mischievous, "teenager" kitties, and are so much fun to watch and play with. Placido will follow around the resident cats in his foster home, demanding they snuggle with him, and if he wakes up alone will set out to find a friend while crying and calling out to them. If one of his favorite kitties happens to be in a lap, Placido will jump right up and snuggle in for a petting session of his own. It will take some time for Placido to adjust to a new home, but with patience and persistence he will be a wonderful addition to any family. Unless you have a friendly and cuddly kitty companion at home already for Placido, he will do best adopted with another kitty. If you'd like to meet Placido or any of our adoptable kittens, please submit an application today! _______________________________________________ All CCR cats and kittens receive their vaccinations, a microchip registered to the new owner, collar & tag, starter bag of food, and their sterilization. In addition, we test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).  All of our animals are 8 weeks or older when they are shown for adoptions, all of our felines must be spayed /neutered before we place them in new homes and they must be 8 weeks old and 2 pounds to have their surgeries.  If you have any questions, please email CatsCradleRescueCA@gmail.com.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption; however, kittens receive two vaccinations.  Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family. Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal.  Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip.  We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.          April 29, 2024, 9:28 pm

Story
Charlotte joined us at the lounge on July 12th and is more than ready to go home! She and Noah are actually two of Letti’s babies! (Mama Letti was adopted in October, 2023.) Charlotte has a bit of brown mixed with her orange, plus some white. She may come across as skittish but we think of her as cautious. Once she decides she’s OK to be petted she loves it! She’ll warm up even more once she’s home and out of the hustle and bustle of the lounge. When she allows some petting or brushing she melts into it with a very nice purr. She gets very brave for Churu treats and loves when we bring out the bubbles to chase and pop! Chasing springs is one of her favorite games. A portion of Charlotte’s adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous donor.
